About: I am an animal lover here to help! I grew up with animals, and have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I also owned ducks and chickens for several the years. I have many years experience with a variety of medical issues pertaining to dogs and cats, including allergies and epilepsy. I also have years of experience in dog and puppy training (not professionally), including adopting my own puppy 2 years ago. That same puppy is now approved and undergoing training to be a psychiatric service dog. My other 2 dogs are also well trained. Although we’re happy to take it easy, we also love to hike and would be happy to take your dog along! I work with animals full time and love it! My schedule changes based on the needs of my clients for that week, and I adjust as needed. My pets are my babies! I have a fenced in yard, with a dog door to access it. It does close, and can be kept closed during the day if needed as my dogs are extremely well trained, and also have the option to access to my home office (a separate building in the back yard) if needed. They have full range and free access to the downstairs, except we discourage them being in the kitchen. Our dogs are kept from the upstairs by a secured baby gate. They are allowed up there, just usually attended because the puppy sometimes confuses her human sisters toys for her own! We have a large property with a trail that we take our dogs up to, and also live very close to several hiking trails that we frequent. One of our dogs had to retire from long walks and hikes, so he stays home now, but he still loves a good car ride and a short easy walk!

He passed away in July 2025 from complications related to megaesophagus, but for a year and a half before that, I helped manage his condition after we were initially told he only had 30 days to live. I love animals and they always have, and will be, a big part of my life. My schedule does vary, but it is flexible. Monday evenings, tuesdays, Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sunday especially, I am generally available. I will always try to fit your pets in! Although I can not offer boarding, your pets safety and happiness is of the upmost importance. I will work based off of what your pet is expressing to me and what you tell me, combined with my own experience to keep everybody safe and happy!
About: I volunteer in animal shelter constantly, I have taken care of dogs from friends and coworkers multiples times. I wanna be a vet one day!! I am currently out of school for summer so I got a lot free time that i would love to spend with cats and dogs I am really responsible and I have lovely cat that would love to have more fur friends, and I also have yard which they can play in it

“Our girl Rue had a great time during her stay in Rich’s home! We received pictures several times daily of Rue playing with the other dog guests (along with Rich’s own dogs) in his large fenced in yard. Rich was responsive and friendly during our meet and greet, and throughout Rue’s stay with him. Rue returned home very tired and happy!”

“Winnie had a great time with Rachel! Rachel is clearly very experienced with dogs, and I felt very comfortable leaving Winnie with her. She knew exactly how to give Winnie the time she needed to sniff around and feel comfortable in Rachel's environment. It was clear that Rachel gave Winnie a lot of one on one attention. She also took her on a walk at the park. Rachel took the time to debrief me on how Winnie's day went, and seemed to really understand Winnie's personality.
