“Saori was such a great sitter for our pups (1 year old great pyrenees). She took them to the dog park in the morning for a couple of hours, helped continue our invisibile fence training, and sent us so many pics and updates throughout the weekend. I could tell how happy and comfortable our dogs were in her home and under her care. They came home so tired because they had so much fun with her and the other dogs!”

“Jessica and Ian did an amazing job taking care of my pup during my wedding weekend! She has never napped so hard when we brought her home! Will definitely use them in the future of all of my dogs pet sitting needs!”

“Maizie's stay with Claudia represented one of the first times we've ever left her for an extended time, and it sounds like she experienced some initial separation anxiety. However, my sense is that Claudia knew well how to deal with that, and Maizie did, indeed, adjust to her surroundings rather quickly after a day or so. While we were gone, Claudia often sent us photos and updates so we'd know Maizie was doing well, and she even indicated on the day before our return that Maizie was looking forward to seeing us (which I certainly hoped would be the case, but didn't really know would be so true until I arrived to pick her up!) Bottom line is that I would heartily endorse Claudia and happily use her services again when we need to leave town for our next vacation.”

“We are repeat customers of Valerie’s and there is no one else we’d rather leave our dogs with! We just adopted a new dog and this was her first stay away from us. Valerie does an amazing job of introducing her to Shakespeare that I know I never have to worry about how they’ll all get along. They bonded immediately and I can tell Valerie loves our dogs almost as much as we do. We will continue to use Valerie over and over! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!”

“My dog Blue stayed with Rachel for almost 10 days and I was honestly sad for him when he had to return to us. He seemed to be living his best life and I was so happy to see him happy via all the pics she would send daily. Will definitely be asking Rachel to watch blue again and again!”

“Sue was great. Really patient and accommodating. My pup was returned to me happy and healthy. Her husband was also very nice and they both seemed very confident and comfortable with my pup who’s a 48lb pittie. Thank you Sue and Franky. We appreciated your care and attention to our fur baby. Sue also sent regular selfies of the pup and was quick to reply to messages.”

“Michele was awesome. She’s super friendly and made me feel very comfortable about caring for Hershey. When she was watching him she sent me pictures periodically to let me know that all was well. We will definitely reach out to Michele in the future!!”

“Nicole is fantastic! We were nervous about boarding my dog at someone else’s house for the first time and she was reassuring, patient, and attentive to all of Jack’s needs. Great with medication administration and provided daily photos and updates on how Jack was doing. Certainly gave us peace of mind on our trip. We will definitely be using Nicole for our next trip and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Laura, Carolina & Enrique were great! I needed a sitter last minute and reached out to them. Luckily they were available. They responded fast, took good care of my pups and they had such a great time they were super tired after I picked them up. Will definitely book again. Thank you!!”

“Ryan EXCEEDED my expectations! He has an intuitive way with dogs. He is very knowledgable about dogs & dog behavior. Ryan is the real deal-- a true animal lover & kind, decent human being. He communicated well with pics and updates during my dog's visit. During our initial meeting I felt an instant rapport he had with my dog that put me at ease. His home is VERY dog-centric! The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

“Catherine was wonderful with Josie, she attended to every one of her needs and treated her like the true diva that she is! She gave her her drops, her eye drops three times a day on schedule, sent me pictures and videos. I was hoping Josie would a still wanna come home with me and not stay with Catherine.!!!Sue w.”

“We have booked with Madison several times for our pups. Madison has been amazing with Holly and Murray every time they have stayed with her. She’s super reliable and really loves our pups, so we always know they're in good hands. Highly recommend her!”

“Kathryn took such good care of Marley! She sent me updates every day and pictures! So happy to have found such a reliable, flexible, and easy to communicate with sitter for our fur baby!”

“Elizabeth has provided the best dog boarding service for my baby boy. I am not exaggerating either. I showed a lot of concern at first, due to a prior bad experience. In return, she was extremely understanding, kind and supportive. She has very welcoming energy and a very sweet personality. Also, her pup Ohana was cute and made the whole process easier. I would absolutely book Elizabeth again for more services in the future!!! Thank you! 10/10 🙂”

“First thing- Meghan was great! Finn states with her fior 4 nights and I couldn’t have asked for more out of a sitter. She communicated well with us during his stay and is overall a very kind, responsible sitter. I will (and I’m sure Finn) be looking forward to booking with her in the future!”
“What a wonderful stay and experience! Hazard is super friendly and very detail oriented. She’s very responsive with communication as well. We had a meet and greet before hand and the first stay for my pups couldn’t have been better! My dogs really enjoyed their time at Hazard’s house. We received lots of photos and videos. And we loved the report card at the end of the day! Thank you! We have another booking set already!”

“Dan and his family are absolutely amazing !!! They are so kind, welcoming, and like an extension of your family while watching your pet. They brought Philo out on the town, wore out her high energy levels with plenty of exercise and gave her such a loving home to stay in. I could not be more thankful for Dan and fam and just hope they can be my go to sitters for Philo!!!”

“I recently left my beloved furry friend with Christina for few days, and I couldn't be happier with the care she provided. Christina demonstrated exceptional communication throughout the entire time, keeping me updated with daily pictures and messages that truly put my mind at ease. Daily exercise is crucial for my dog, and I was pleased to hear that Christina took her outside to the yard regularly for play and exercise. Not only did my dog come back happy and healthy, but Christina also managed to create a bond that goes beyond the typical sitter-client relationship. It's reassuring to know that there are caring individuals like her on Rover. I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a reliable and compassionate dog sitter. Thank you, Christina for your excellent service, and I look forward to booking with you again in the future!”

“We needed someone to look after our indoor cat while we were away for two weeks, and Hayley was the perfect person for the job. She always checked-in, completed the essential tasks and took excellent care of our cat, Pam. It was an absolute pleasure for us to work with Hayley, and we highly recommend her services.”

About: I’ve taken care of family cats since the age of 5 and when I started living on my own with my previous partner we had three rescued cats together. One of these cats developed diabetes and needed daily insulin shots, and then eventually needed fluid IVs in which I had to learn to take care of since my ex wasn’t okay with the procedure. After our split (2012-2017), he took the cats, but in 2021 when my now-husband, we adopted a rescue cat with a shortened tail and have been dog and cat people ever since! Thankfully I have yet to need to use my medication administering skills on our cat, but we do a very good job at keeping him healthy and happy so it is less likely he will develop diabetes later in his life.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my patience, attention to detail, and understanding that every cat has a unique personality. I know that cats can be sensitive to change, so I focus on creating a calm, safe environment where they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I have fostering experience, which has given me hands-on skills working with shy, anxious, and newly adjusted cats. This has taught me how to build trust slowly and read their behavior so I can respond to their needs in the best way possible. I’m also experienced with daily care routines like feeding schedules, playtime, and keeping litter boxes extremely clean (I take litter box care seriously to keep your cat happy and healthy). I’m comfortable administering basic medications if needed and making sure senior cats or those with special needs are well cared for with extra patience and attention. Overall, I provide reliable, gentle, and loving care—making sure your cat feels safe, stress-free, and cared for just like they would at home
“We couldn’t be happier with the care our cat sitter Rachel provided! She did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats while we were away. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in loving and capable hands. She kept us updated, was attentive to their needs, and went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and happy. Because of her, we were able to truly enjoy our vacation without worry. We are so grateful for her and will absolutely be reaching out again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Isabelle is a special caregiver. We hired her. To help care for our 2 German Shepherds, one of which is recovering from brain surgery to remove a tumor. With that, her and her partner have provided amazing care and shown love , compassion and patience to our guy. I highly recommend her if you need someone to provide that extra level of support.”

About: I have been called Dr. Doolittle my entire life. I have a knack for connecting with animals of all kinds. I give them the space to have their specific personality and the respect they deserve, as I would treat a human. Animals are often misunderstood, I’ve always tried to meet them where they stand. If there is one thing I am good at, it’s making an animal feel safe and comfortable. And they do the same for me :) I have owned cats for 22 years and provided pet care outside of my home for 8 years.

About: I have personal experience in owning both male and female cats, who were both indoor and outdoor cats. I’ve also cared for pregnant female cats. I understand their body language and behavior very well, and know when they need their space. I raised my current cat, Olive from 6 weeks old and have experience in bottle feeding kittens.
“We are so grateful to have found Ian!!! Best ever! Our cat was calm and even after a long trip and away from her she was calm and happy and this is all due to Ian who gave her care and love going above and beyond his duties! An amazing young man, caring, professional, gentle and very conscientious! Highly recommend!!! Mihaela Weaver”

About: The cats I’ve experienced with never fail to keep me on my toes whether it’s finding something to crinkle such as a brown bag or a small ribbon to fetch or even climbing to new heights such as a refrigerator. I’ve had experience giving pill form and liquid medication. Cat litter boxes are my specialty. Never had a cat not feel cozy and comfortable while relieving themselves.

“Anne was super easy to work with and did a great job checking in my cats while I was away! She sent pictures and even managed to coax out my anxious cat which I really did not expect at all. She did some playing with my friendlier girl and made sure all their needs were taken care of. I really appreciate having her stop in and I know that the next time I need a sitter I'll book Anne again! Thank you!”
“This is the second time Lindsey has watched my kitties, and I was very confident that they would be taken care of. I asked if she would mind putting out 2 plates of bird food for the birds that I had left on the table, and she had no problem doing so. I was very appreciative of her for this. I will definitely ask her for drop in visits in the future. Thank you Lindsey!”
About: I am a very active person i love being out side and going on runs or just simply going on walks. I wake up early everyday and usually go on runs and take my little puppy on walks. I live in a nice area close to town. I love all types of dogs and my schedule is very flexible being a realtor so i am always able to do walks at all times! would love to have overnight stay and would give extra love to all the dogs! I am a full time realtor so my schedule is made by me and can be very flexible. I can be pretty open with my hours. I have a fenced in yard and also own a duplex so I can house different dogs upstairs or separate if need be. I absolutely love dogs and cats so any pet will feel right at home with my care.

About: I’ve taken care of my roommate’s kitten, my brother’s cat, and my friend’s cat while they are out for a few days or on vacation. I find that even very shy and jumpy cats trust me, and I love being able to spend time chilling or playing with the kitties 🐈⬛

“Emily was fantastic! She took great care of my cat when I had to take a trip on short notice. She was responsive, communicative, and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use her again! Thank you Emily!”

About: Hi! I enjoy meeting, engaging with, and caring for family pets and have experience with all breeds of dogs and cats at all age ranges. I am available for ongoing long-term set schedules as well as flexible schedules for pet sitting. My schedule allows me to check in morning, midday, and/or late afternoons/evenings. I do not presently render services at my home, but I do not mind crating your dog at your home and enjoying many walks and hikes nearby.
About: I’ve had 2-3 dogs in my house since I was in middle school. Since high school, I began dog, cat, and baby sitting for my neighbor on a regular basis and even continued while on breaks from college and after graduation. For the past 5 years, I was the primary dog, cat, and house sitter for a lovely family. My senior year of college I fostered a dog, which my family and I then went on to adopt. I have experience with dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and ages. After helping a variety of dogs & cats in NYC, I have relocated to Connecticut, and I’m looking to help out any people and pets in my area! I currently work a hybrid schedule and am onsite on Tues-Thurs. My work allows me to take calls on walks and have the ability to take animals out for walks as needed! We currently live in a condo with easy outdoor access. I do not have any pets. I am comfortable with crate training, but my home is also flexible to let your pet(s) roam if that is preferred!

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I could walk, so caring for animals has always felt second nature. I also volunteer as a dog walker, socializer, and trainer at Danbury Animal Welfare Society, where I work with dogs of different temperaments, energy levels, and needs. My style is calm, patient, and attentive, whether your dog needs a real exercise walk, your cat needs a quiet check-in, or your older pet just needs someone gentle and consistent. I know trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big deal, so I take reliability seriously. I’ll show up when I say I will, pay attention to your pet’s routine, and send clear updates so you know they’re safe, happy, and cared for. I currently work full time, but my evenings and weekends are often free. I’m a good fit for weekend walks, evening check-ins, drop-in visits, and occasional pet care when your regular routine needs extra support. Because I value reliability, I only accept bookings I know I can show up for fully and on time. I pay close attention to each pet’s body language, comfort level, routines, and boundaries, and I never force interactions with people, dogs, or unfamiliar situations. For walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, avoid unsafe areas, and adjust the pace to the dog’s age, energy, and temperament. I’m comfortable with shy, anxious, energetic, and older pets, and I believe patience and consistency go a long way. For drop-ins, I’ll respect your home, follow your instructions carefully, check food, water, litter, doors, and gates, and send clear updates so you know how your pet is doing.

“Valerie was very warm and welcoming when I brought my dogs over to meet her. This was our first time using Rover.com and leaving our 2 dogs (9 yr female & 5 month male) with a sitter. I was concerned about my female, she is a rescue with some separation anxiety. Valerie was very understanding and felt staying in a home environment instead of a kennel would make a big difference. When picking up, both dogs were very comfortable and at ease in Valerie's home. We will definitely be back.”

“Excellent sitter! My 4 month old puppy had a blast and Isabel was super about sending multiple pictures throughout the day. Awesome environment and home for a doggy day care. Definitely recommend.”
“Rich is wonderful! You can tell he really loves dogs :) He took the time to meet with us and make Cooper feel comfortable at his house. We highly recommend him and we will definitely schedule Cooper to stay with him again!”

“I wish there was a 10 Star Designation for Kyle! From our Meet/Greet til just coming home from picking up King, Kyle was above/beyond - My dog King felt comfortable immediately with him & at drop off he didn’t even look back and came home Pleasantly tired - Team Kyle Rocks!”

“Highly recommend! My baby was well taken care of! Tinaclem was super friendly. When we arrived she introduced her dog with mine and brought them both to the back yard so she can get familiar with the yard and was very welcoming! Many walks and lots of pics for updates! ❤️My baby was pooped for days! She already misses Elvis! Sweet dog she has!”

“Claudia took very good care of Maverick for the day. She texted me pictures of him. He had fun playing with the other dogs. He was able to go outside leash free in a fenced in area and do his business. She even hand fed him his food to make him feel comfortable. She discovered that he liked his belly rubbed. Claudia was very conscious of gathering up all of his toys and belongings when we picked him up. We will use her again!!”

About: Hi! my name is Madison I am 20 years old and I love animals! In the past I have worked as a vet assistant so I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages! I am currently working part-time as well as a part time student. I am able to fit pet care on any day of the week! I have 3 dogs, they will all be away in a separate area of the house if your fur baby was to be brought to me. I can give oral medication, play time, potty breaks, and walks!

“Kara was great! She was super flexible and willing to watch Shadow with what I believed was a last minute request! I would definitely recommend to anyone if you’re looking for a sweet and personable dog sitter!”

About: I have 2 labs (1 lab German Shepard mix and 1 lab), who love to play and romp around, as well as the finer things in life like relaxation. My working schedule allows me to work from home full time, huge plus for the pups and kiddos. We travel about once a year for 2 weeks, and mostly spend our time in town as our boys do sports. I was a dog walker and sitter for 2 years in college, had a dog growing up as a child and I’ve rescued and adopted 5 pups with my husband. Since I'm use to the early mornings, walking the fur babies early is not a problem. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog and I try to make sure they get as much play time and attention as needed. Treating the fur babies as family members, means they have their beds, own couch, toys and free range in our house.
“I would recommend Michelle!! Ozzy loves going to hers. Her care is great for dogs like mine who are excited, need exercise and supervision. Ozzy always gets to run around and play and Michelle is very tentative with his care! 5 stars definitely a great environment”

“I am a first time dog mom and my Shih Tzu went to stay with them for the day last min and she was so nice. Communication was great because I cried at first because he has not been with other people since I got him. Max loved them he was so happy & excited when he was me .The update videos and pictures reassured me that he was in great hands. Will be booking again very soon”

About: I am a mom to three human children, six dogs, two cats, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. I also prioritize clear communication so you always feel confident and informed while your pet is in my care. My schedule has a lot of flexibility, and I am a full-time caregiver for these sweet babies! I will always do my best to be available for you and your furry family members! Pets in my home have my full supervision, and when I am unable to have my eye on them, they are either crated or in their own safe space! Our yard is fully fenced!
“Gwynne is amazing! We just started using her a few weeks ago and every time my dog Lola goes to stay at Gwynne’s she is excited and has a great time. I definitely recommend Gwynne, she’s the only dog sitter we use ☺️”

“Lindsey is just an amazing person and so sweet with Benny. She's kind, loving, gentle and caring. Benny absolutely LOVES going on walks with her! He looks SO happy in the photos. What a blessing she is. So very grateful that we found Lindsey!!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of care, patience, and genuine love I bring to every pet I work with. I don’t just “watch” animals—I build trust with them and treat them like my own. My experience as a caregiver has really shaped how attentive and compassionate I am, especially when it comes to understanding different needs and personalities. I also have fostering experience, which has taught me how to work with pets who may be anxious, shy, or adjusting to new environments. Because of that, I’m very comfortable helping animals feel safe and supported. I have experience caring for both puppies and senior pets. With puppies, I can help reinforce basic training, routines, and positive behaviors. With senior pets, I’m extra gentle, patient, and attentive to things like mobility, medications, and comfort. Overall, I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and someone you can truly trust with your pet. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I am unavailable mondays and Wednesdays but available all day on Saturday and Sunday. I can work after 4:30pm on Tuesday Thursday and Friday :) Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or stopping by for visits, I do everything I can to make the experience feel calm, consistent, and stress-free. In your home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and playtime. I make sure doors are secure, hazards are avoided, and your pet is always supervised and safe. I also keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel confident while you’re away. I’m very attentive to behavior and body language, which helps me quickly notice if something feels off. My background as a caregiver has made me especially detail-oriented, patient, and calm in any situation. Cleanliness is also very important to me—I keep feeding areas, litter boxes, and living spaces clean and comfortable at all times. Overall, I aim to create a safe, loving environment where your pet feels relaxed and cared for, and where you can have complete peace of mind.
About: I am a semi retired veterinary assistant with nearly 20 years professional experience and a passion for caring for animals. As a life long pet owner myself, I know how hard and stressful it can be to leave your pets at home. I appreciate and respect the trust that every owner puts in me when they contact me to care for their animal. I can give medications if needed, including injections. Also have worked in shelters and volunteer at rescues. I have taken care of senior dogs and cats. Feeding, walking, playing or if they have any special needs is not a problem. I have a flexible schedule and open to working with you to arrange drop in visits. Mid morning through later afternoons are open for me. If you need another time, just let me know. I'm happy to do whatever your pets need, whether they want to play, walk or just hang out. If they are a little shy and need time to get used to me is totally understandable, I will follow their cues. I will take my time to learn what they need and adapt to them. The goal is always to keep them as stress free as possible.
About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!
About: I’m reliable, communicative, and will always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ve been around and caring for dogs for most of my life, including my own dog Max, who I got when I was 14 and truly consider my soul dog. He passed away in July 2025 from complications related to megaesophagus, but for a year and a half before that, I helped manage his condition after we were initially told he only had 30 days to live. That experience taught me so much about patience, consistency, and providing attentive, specialized care. Because of these experiences, I’m especially comfortable with dogs who may need extra patience, have medical needs, or experience anxiety. I work full-time during the week, but I’m always available for morning and evening visits, including feeding, walks, playtime, and general care. I’m off every other weekend, as well as some Mondays and Fridays, which gives me extra flexibility for longer visits or overnight stays. I’m also happy to accommodate overnight care when needed, so your pet can stick to their normal routine and feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m reliable, communicative, and will make sure your pet gets consistent care and attention. In a client’s home, I aim to keep things as consistent as possible—following feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes or picking up after pets, and making sure they get plenty of attention and care. I also make sure your home is respected and kept tidy while you’re away. For overnight stays, I help maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable in their environment.

I am a full time realtor so my schedule is made by me and can be very flexible. I can be pretty open with my hours. About: I’m a serial long-term pet sitter, and have been pet sitting through Rover for several years! Our family- myself, my partner, Will, our 9 year old son & 5 year old daughter- are huge animal fans! I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, and lizards myself. We currently have an outgoing, friendly, & vocal black cat named Calzone and a Tetra tank we affectionately call “The Kids”. I am the go-to pet sitter for several family members, friends, and neighbors. We have had pets stay with us for long term stays. So, long term & frequent stays are A-OK… your pet will be cared for like part of the family. I am comfortable caring for farm/hobby farm animals at your home as well. We moved to Bethel (Will & I grew up in the area) in 2024 from our home in Fairfield where we lived for almost 10 years & where I started with Rover! Our home is a single family farmhouse with a huge open yard, meadow, and ponds, abutting wooded trails and a short walk to Huntington Park. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc.
“I cannot say enough good things about Craig and his wife! We have been using them three times a week for our dog, Molly, and they have truly been a lifesaver. Craig is incredibly reliable and always shows up exactly at the times we agree on, and his communication is always spot-on. One of our favorite parts is that they bring their own dog along, and he and Molly get along so famously—it's wonderful knowing she’s getting some great socialization while out on her walks. Craig and his wife are just incredibly nice, friendly, and easy to talk to, making the whole experience completely stress-free. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing, trustworthy care for their pup!”

About: Hello! As a passionate animal lover with several years of experience in pet sitting, I am confident in my ability to provide the highest level of care for your furry friends. With a deep understanding of animal behavior and needs, I tailor my services to ensure each pet feels safe, loved, and happy in my care. My reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to exceeding expectations set me apart as the best choice for pet sitting. References from satisfied clients attest to my dedication and the exceptional care I provide. When you entrust your pets to me, you can rest assured they are in the best hands. I'm available on weekdays as of now. I will continue to keep this updated if/when it changes. I will travel to your house to care for your pets. I understand the importance of consistency in your pet's routine, and I am committed to following it closely. Whether it's meal times, exercise routines, medication schedules, or any other specific needs, I will ensure that your pet's routine is maintained to provide them with comfort and stability while you're away.
About: I’ve helped care for eight family dogs throughout my life, so I’m very comfortable around different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m patient, responsible, and understand how important it is to keep pets safe and comfortable. I’m available on weekends with flexible hours, and I’m also available every weekday after 2 PM. This allows me to give your dog plenty of attention in the afternoons and evenings, whether that’s for walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care. I will always communicate clearly about scheduling When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I also give lots of attention and supervision so they feel safe while you’re away.

About: no matter what animal, I am looking forward to helping provide all the love, attention, and care they will need while you are away. I Grew up with many different pets and i’ve always had a big role in caring for them. From dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and chickens, to turtles, fish, lizards and spiders i can handle it! I recently moved to indiana, but i am back visiting my family in Connecticut for the summer! I will need to know three weeks in advance for house sitting requests so i can plan my schedule. I am also available for same day dog walking. I love to exercise and I enjoy taking dogs on walks around the addition I live in. I have a trail in my back yard that leads eventually to a small lake that is my usual route I take. I also have a large backyard I run around with pups to get their energy out. I can guarantee the best care possible for your pets at all times. I am Happy to help with any specific needs for your pets care !

About: Over the past 10 years , I have gained extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I have developed a strong understanding of canine behavior and needs. I am currently a para at preschool. Off for the next 2 weeks will be working summer program Monday -Thursday 8-1 am very flexible with any time I’m not working. I can crate dog if required but we do have outdoor leash with long distance. Normally we take dog to park to play or stay in the ac to play

About: I've loved to cat and dog sit for my neighbors, friends, and extended family since I was young. I'm sensitive to different pets' needs and have always had a way of connecting with more timid and distrustful animals. I also have over 10 years of experience caring for and working with horses, so I'm comfortable with handling larger animals. I’m super outdoorsy so I’m always happy to take your pets out on a hike or little adventure. I used to take my aunt’s dog out to hike, camp, and swim in rivers! I’ve just graduated from college, so I have a completely open schedule! I’ll be able to go on walks multiple times a day, hang out and play in the house, and give them all the attention they need. I won’t be having your pets stay in my house, but I’m comfortable coming into your living space and accommodating your pets in their home environment. I can stay overnight in my own house or yours, whatever’s easiest!

“Kyle was very welcoming, easy to meet/talk to, thorough in his overview of services, and happy to answer all of our questions. He’s clearly a dog lover and was willing to accommodate any special needs of our dog. He sent photos and updates along the way as well, which was much appreciated. He took great care of our pup. Thanks, Kyle!”

“They are AMAZING!! My little dog Mochi loved them a lot and I can tell he had good time with them. Normally Mochi is very shy with other people. But right away when Mochi sees Nadine family, they are already being friends. They knows dogs well and find out very quick what doggy needs. Friendly, sweet, treat like family. Everyday send me a comment (condition of my dog, what is plan) with good pictures. It makes me feel so much comfortable. Best people ever! I will come back with them. Thank you so much!! ☺️”

“Great experience from beginning to end. It was our first time leaving Gigi with a sitter. Dew kept us updated and sent photos, which was a great comfort to us. Will definitely use her again.”

“Luna loved staying with Bruce. I appreciated Bruce's attention to detail in making sure he was able to provide the best care for Luna. We've already booked another stay with Bruce!”

“Anner was very accommodating. The dogs were very happy with him. We did a trial run for an overnight stay to see how they managed. They were happy dogs. When I dropped them off for their stay they were both excited. Thank you Anner, you have two fans. I will definitely use your services again.”
