About: I’ve lived with pets my whole life. I’m a biology major pursuing animal science and conservation. I love everything about them and I will be volunteering at the animal shelter this summer! I have experience taking care of old dogs, and hyper ones, from helping out my family and friends over the years. I work on campus, so with my semester ending, I am completely free this summer to focus on caring for these pets! Weekends can be busy but I will account for that in my availability. This isn’t just an opportunity to make money, it’s a way to help and give back to my community. I will care for pets in the clients home by offering play to have fun and be ready to sleep at bedtime! About: I've been taking care of my own dog since we first got her 7 years ago, and I also used to volunteer at the New Milford Animal Shelter. My family fosters animals (both cats and dogs) from Because 4 Paws in New Milford, so I have some basic experience with administering medicines and helping others administer medicines. I've also been a dog sitter for 3 different families. I recently moved back to the east coast and am looking for some side work while I hunt for a full time job. I'm not sure when that will be, so I'm trying not to set my availability too far out, but am still flexible for now! Depending on what the owners are comfortable with, I would love to take the dogs out for a walk at a nearby park or walking trail. We have four cats at our house that are wary of new animals, so I am unable to pet sit at my residence. However, I am willing to spend time with your fur babies at your house or preferred location, and will follow whatever instructions necessary to ensure the comfortability of you and your pets.
