“Meghan did an amazing job checking in on our cat while we were away! She was professional, kept our house clean, and most importantly, our cat was happy and comfortable. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our pet was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Being new the area we're glad we met Richie. Flexible and accommodating are two words that come to mind. Our "girls" look forward to his afternoon visits and we have piece of mind knowing we can count on him”

About: I’ve lived with pets my whole life. I’m a biology major pursuing animal science and conservation. I love everything about them and I will be volunteering at the animal shelter this summer! I have experience taking care of old dogs, and hyper ones, from helping out my family and friends over the years. I work on campus, so with my semester ending, I am completely free this summer to focus on caring for these pets! Weekends can be busy but I will account for that in my availability. This isn’t just an opportunity to make money, it’s a way to help and give back to my community. I will care for pets in the clients home by offering play to have fun and be ready to sleep at bedtime! I will also care for them by respecting their space and boundaries when needed. If they are in need of a friend, I am there.
“Hallie was just an amazing caregiver for my cats while I was away! The photos she sent of the girls and details of each visit added to my peace of mind. She watered my plants, took in my mail and brought my trash to the curb, as well. I would recommend Hallie without hesitation and hopefully can utilize her expert services in the future.”

“Kelsey is great! It was clear our pup loved her at their first meeting, and Kelsey took great care of him during a check-in visit. It turns out I didn’t have service while she was with him, so even when I was unable to get back to her question in a timely manner, Kelsey problem-solved and took care of Felix perfectly. We’re glad to have her as part of our pup’s care team!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
