About: I have cared for rabbits, cats, and dogs over the course of my life. I grew up with a rescued kitten who lived a healthy, active life for 15 years before he developed feline diabetes. For two years, we gave him daily injections to maintain his health as best we could. When I began life outside of my childhood home, I adopted a lion head rabbit that lived long enough to become my children’s first pet. While I was living in Queens, New York, I spent a year dog walking and pet sitting around Astoria and Long Island City. My responsibilities included individual and group dog walks, in-home care for elderly and special needs dogs and cats, cat care, litter box/wee wee pad changing, and feeding. I am currently a stay at home mom and freelance writer, so my schedule is very flexible between the hours of 8am and 3pm while my children are at school.
