About: I work at an animal rescue with all different types of dogs. From 4 week old puppies, to 14 year old curmudgeon-y dogs. I am ASPCA certified, and I know how to read a dog’s body language. I have experience and confidence measuring, and administering medications. Making sure that your dog(s) are safe, healthy, fed, and walked are my top priority, and I’m looking forward to meeting your fur babies! I work part time at an animal rescue, and much of my day is empty. I do not work Wednesdays or Thursdays. About: I started my pet journey growing up with dogs as a kid. I adopted a hissy adult cat in 2017 (my exact words were, “I’m looking for the most difficult, pain in the butt cat you have” and they told me they had the perfect one!). After she passed unexpectedly from cancer, I started volunteering and fostering with a local animal shelter. Since January 2023 I’ve had almost 100 fosters! One puppy, two adult dogs, and a whole bunch of cats and kittens! I also walk dogs at the shelter when I’m able. I am also certified in pet first aid and working towards my Vet Tech degree. Because of my volunteer work with the shelter, I have a lot of varied experience when it comes to working with dogs and cats of all kinds both behaviorally and medically, although my area of expertise lies with cats. I work from home so have a relatively flexible schedule. My favorite animals to help are kitties (both in age and at heart) who need a little TLC during the day or check-ins when their paw-parents are away. Because my kitty baby was a runner, I am very cautious when entering/exiting a home. I am also very cautious when it comes to sanitation, toxic food and substances, and animal body language. I understand the importance of providing animals with mental and physical stimulation and am always eager to provide them with enrichment.

About: I helped my grandfather take care of his dogs since I was a little girl. I have taken care of cats since my teens. I hope is get to a place where I can have my own pets. I currently work part-time at a liquor store in Poughkeepsie. I am willing to work with you on a schedule for your pet that everyone enjoys. I help my parents with their cat over the 10 years old. “Our beloved fur-boy is Garrett, a 4-year-old Siberian Husky who loves Richie! Just recently, we went away for a 5-day trip and had to leave Garrett at home. Luckily, we met Richie and hired him to do drop-in visits, 3 times a day, for the entire time we were away. Richie made sure that Garrett was taken out for his potty breaks, took him for walks and provided the kind of service and care that he needed. Richie delivered beyond my expectations. About: Hi, I am a science teacher who is looking for a part time activity to keep myself busy. During the summer I am usually always free if not i love to travel. I am currently home if I am not teaching and looking for something to do part time. I am usually flexible and available during the week and some weekends. If my clients have a fenced in yard, I stay with the dogs and play outside with them. I never leave them unattended. If not, dogs are usually walked on a leash. About: My earliest memories feature dogs and cats, and they have been in my life since the age of three. Frankly, it's difficult to imagine my life without them. I have been taking care of my own, family and friends furry companions from the age of ten. I'm here for the snuggles, pets, playtimes, walks, potty breaks, litter changes and the quiet times too. From tiny, eight week old puppies, prime adults and elderly dogs that require a different kind of care and patience, to rambunctious kittens and their chill adult counterparts, each animal has a personality of their own; I'm here for them all. When people ask if I'm a cat or dog person, for me there isn't a choice; it's both! I've had experience with: - House and command training puppies from the age of eight weeks and up - Daily walks, usually between 30 min minimum to 2-3 hours; I love walks too, so it's a win-win 🐾 - Administering oral and topical medications to canines; mouths, eyes, and ears - Playtime! Or just keeping them quiet company, if that's what they prefer. - Dropping in and checking on our feline babies: changing litter boxes, feeding, play and keeping them company. I love spending time with cats of any size and stage. I am currently working part-time in food/hospitality, and begin seasonal event work in the springtime so my schedule is flexible. Currently, I have flexible availability for walks, drop-in visits or house-stays on Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. When dropping in for a visit at a client's home, I always make sure to keep the space secure and clean for our four-legged friends. Pet owners can rest assured that their dogs will be engaged with and supervised, and cat people will know that their kitties are in a safe, calm environment. Animals are special to me, and I aim to treat them all as if they are my own.

My latest Akita Diablo passed away 5 years ago and I haven't gotten another dog since his passing so currently I have no dogs. I only have chinchillas and a hamster as of now.
