Samantha was attentive to our cat’s needs and was incredibly reliable! We got snowed in our trip away, and Samantha was able to add extra visits to come take care of our cat while we were trapped in the snow. I highly recommend Samantha, and will likely contact her again the next time we need a pet sitter!

Donna took great care of my kitties! She kept me updated while I was away, especially relieving my concerns that my littlest one wouldn’t eat. She was prompt and made sure they got their treats - thanks Donna!

So grateful we found Stefanie! Super sweet, communicative, and thoughtful. Our very shy cats came out for her which is rare for them with people they don’t know. Will definitely book again :)

It was such a great decision to have Gladys and Liani take care of our cats! They proved to be extremely responsive, reliable, and punctual. When there was a car accident along the way, Gladys even checked in to let us know they would be a few minutes late. What really made Gladys and Liani stand apart from other sitters was their enthusiasm. It didn't seem like taking care of pets is just a job -- it seems that they genuinely love animals. Separately, while others made the initial scheduling process overly complicated, it was really easy to arrange everything with Gladys. Gladys and Liani earned our highest recommendation!

Stephen is amazing! He’s well-versed with large breeds, and we were so happy to find someone experienced who Bowser absolutely loves walking with. He’s always punctual, and after just two walks, Bowser is already so excited to see him! It’s hard to find someone you can truly trust with your dog, and Stephen is definitely that person. Highly recommend!

About: Hi my name is Cory! I love dogs and they seem to know it right away. I have been around dogs since I was 4 years old. I have owned 2 akitas and an English bulldog . My latest Akita Diablo passed away 5 years ago and I haven't gotten another dog since his passing so currently I have no dogs. I only have chinchillas and a hamster as of now. I have a lot of experience working with dogs and they seem to feel relaxed and comfortable when in my care, making this the perfect job for me. I know how to approach these animals in a way that is non-threatening to reduce their anxiety and to help them relax. I can help to maintain the routine they are used to, so they will not get anxious or feel so alone while their owners are away. I have extensive knowledge concerning the different breeds of dogs and I know how to take care of them properly. I understand that some breeds have special needs and that the age of the dog will play a major role in how to take care of them. You can depend on me to provide excellent service and to take great care of your dog/dogs. I know what questions to ask to make sure I understand their specific needs. I will be full time dedicated to your furry child, providing walks and play time as much as needed! There is nothing I wouldn't do to make your dog feel comfortable and keep their schedule to your liking. Please provide a list with your dog's habits so I can make sure they feel at home. Don't hesitate to contact me, I am very flexible with my time, and I will love and care for your dog as my own. I'm currently off from work during the summer and during the school year I only work part time at an elementary school down the road from me (2 1/2 hrs) , So I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I will do anything to make your pup feel comfortable and at home away from home during his stay with me. I love detailed instructions so please feel free to let me know everything about your pet! I have a fenced in yard and 2 children who are huge dog lovers who would love to keep your dog(s) busy and keep them company!

About: Hi! My name is Nicolle, and I am a dependable, caring, and responsible pet lover who understands that pets are family. I have experience caring for dogs of various sizes, ages, and personalities, and I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and fun environment while you’re away. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting services. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply having someone keep them company, I am happy to tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. I understand the importance of consistency and will make sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I work with children and families every day, which has strengthened my patience, reliability, communication skills, and attention to detail. I bring that same level of care and professionalism to pet care. I am comfortable following specific instructions, administering basic medications if needed, and providing regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My availability varies throughout the week, but I strive to be flexible and accommodate my clients whenever possible. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet and provide the care they deserve. I look forward to connecting with you and becoming a trusted part of your pet’s care team! I’m currently working as a speech language pathologist that travels between the homes and schools. This allows me to make my own schedule and adjust when needed, giving me that extra flexibility. I take the time to learn the pets I care for, including their personality and their likes/dislikes. It’s already a stressful situation when their family is out of town, so I do my best to make sure its a positive and low pressure environment.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was about 10 years old. I currently volunteer at our local animal shelter and have a dog of my own I rescued in college. I also rescued a cat when I was a bit younger and working in the foster system with cats. I genuinely love pets so much and have experience with older pets, administering medication, puppies, and even aggressive dogs. I’m currently working full-time for the leasing office at the property I live at. I love my job because my own furry companion comes to work with me everyday. I have completely free time on weekends to care for your furry friends and am free most weekday afternoons and can make windows of time throughout the week. My dog and I live in an apartment building and he was crate trained when he was a puppy. I would walk your dog using whatever harness/leash you prefer making sure their paws are safe and are well taken care of. I can give them enrichment time from doing training, playing with toys, or running around outside if there is a place they can do so safely.

Amruta is amazing! From the meet and greet I knew she would be a good fit for us. Tux was drawn to her immediately and is always so excited when she walks through the door. I have a very specific feeding routine for tux and amruta is diligent about following it. I am so happy to have found Amruta because I am now at ease when I go to work, knowing she dropping in to care for Tux. I cannot recommend her enough!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 19 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Billings. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
