“Sierra is an excellent communicator, I was very last minute but she took time outof her day to meet up and meet my cat. She did everything perfectly, sent lots of cute pictures of Mitten which were such a pleasure while I was on my trip. 10/10 I recommend her to anyone, shes extremely loving and gentle with the animals. The fact she was able to encourage my shy cat to come outof her hiding spot speaks volumes”

About: Welcome to my profile! I’m a dedicated pet parent, who does dog walking as a side job. My dog background: My experience with dogs includes raising three pedigree dogs in my adult life—two pugs and one French bulldog. Additionally, growing up in Delaware provided me with the opportunity to care for numerous breeds and types and offer dog walking services to my neighbors. Personally, I walk my own dogs for 45 to 90 minutes daily and have a special homemade diet for them, consisting of 60% chicken and eggs, and 40% carbs and vegetables, a recipe praised by my vet and one I’m happy to share. Beyond personal pet care, I’m a professional in freelance advertising, my remote work setup gives me the opportunities to explore daytime income streams, particularly during downtimes. At this time, I am focused on folks in specific areas who are interested in daily walks. I will be experimenting with time frames and specifics to find the most repeatable schedule possible. • Beacon: neighborhoods. Early Morning walks • Poughkeepsie: Southside neighborhood- late AM walks. • Kingston: Historic Districts - early afternoon walks. While these are my primary areas and times, I'm open to discussing and accommodating requests outside these specifics when possible. In home, I bring dogs out about once every 2 hours. My yard is entirely fenced with a 12 foot privacy fence. I stay outside with the dogs while outside. I walk dogs a minimum of 2 times per day.
13. Anastasia S.
“Anastasia is a very caring and responsible person in regards to animals. She was raised with a dog and cats, and continues to care for them in her home. She also has cared for our dog when needed and is wonderful with her. I would recommend her highly.”
14. Lianne W.
“Lianne will be the first person I contact when I ever need a Dogsitter again. She took in my German Shepard ‘Blitz’ like he was her baby, and sent me photos every now and then of them having a good time. I was so happy when I would get updates and some of them were hilarious (Blitz is a goof). Lianne is extremely qualified to take extra care of dogs. Her home is also beautiful and spacious. We had our dogs meet beforehand to make sure they would get along. Her little dog ‘Kilo’ was a bit scared at first but then warmed up and loved Blitz so much, now they’re best friends. I’m so happy to have Lianne now as a Dogsitter, I used to worry in the past and use different sitters every time. But I really hope Lianne will be available whenever I need one next.”
15. Leon M.
“Leon is a very dependable and responsible person! He cares greatly for his pets and I would rely on him with 100% confidence to watch mine as well!”

About: I recently moved over to Rover from TrustedHouseSitters where my partner and I house/pet sit for others. I recognize I am new to this platform and would really appreciate being given the chance to care for your pet! I’ve lowered rates for walks to hopefully get my first couple of clients. I have housesit for 9 different hosts for a total of 90 nights, caring for both cats and dogs, and we averaged a 5-star review from all of our hosts. We cared for dogs ranging in size and age, making sure they got fed on time, got their daily walks, and most importantly got some attention and affection from us as well. I enjoy running, so if your have a very active dog that would enjoy going on a run with me, I would be happy to take them with me in the morning or evening. When I visit my partner, I also take her families Bernepoodle, Sumo, out for his walk. I'm comfortable walking multiple dogs at the same time; during one house sit I took 3 dogs out for walks, two times daily around a mile each and felt fairly comfortable doing so. I am currently finishing up my teaching residency in the Bronx this school year, so I am mostly restricted to the weekends until I complete my residency in August 2024. I am fairly flexible on the weekends and am accustomed to waking up very early because of my morning commute to the Bronx. With my experience housesitting, I'm used to caring for pets and a host's home! I'm communicative and love sending updates/pictures of how everyone is doing. I prioritize maintaining a clean space, a set feeding and walking schedule, and spending time with the dogs to give them good company. I'm careful when it comes to walks and stick to the sidewalks, quiet roads, and parks. I am male, so if your dog is aggressive around men, please keep my safety in mind as well.

About: I grew up taking care of animals and helping dog sit a few times for relatives. Furthermore, I worked at a dog daycare for about a year and during my time there I learned a lot about a dogs behavior and how to read each individual dogs body language. I’m currently working part time so I can assure you I will have plenty of time to care for you furry friends! I will also be offering boarding Thursday’s-Sunday’s! I start my day off by making sure my babies are fed and have fresh water, followed by going out for a walk and playing outside for a little! I have a dog and a cat who is very shy. If needed I have a crate that can be used.
18. Mario C.
“Mario has helped me take care of many of my clients throughout the last year. He is very loving and caring to all the pets I’ve seen him around. He’s always excited to see all the animals I’ve had around him. He’s also cared for my own pet who has separation anxiety. She’s always happy when with Mario. There’s no one better that I’d recommend.”
19. Alexa A.
“This was my second time having alexa watch my fur baby while i was away and she was amazing! I would recommend her to everyone!”

About: My first experience with caring for dogs was before I actually owned one. I worked for a franchise as a professional pet sitter from for 2 year, which including daily drop in visits for walks and several times a day visits for clients who were out of down. Covid shut down that business temporarily, and and during that time I spend a year working in a hospital which I found wasn't my passion, I found a new passion; I want to be a veterinary technician. For the past 2 years I've been working at an animal hospital as an assistant, including caring for boarded and hospitalized pets, bathing, grooming, the list goes on, with the goal to be a veterinary technician when I finish school, hopefully by the end of the year. At the current moment I am available Monday afternoons, all day Tuesdays, all day Fridays, and all day Saturdays to care for your beloved pets. I am unable to care for your pets in my own home as I have my own dog and my apartment does not allow more than one dog per resident. I am available for at home visits and overnight stays if required,
