About: I've been taking care of cats since before I could walk. My current cat is a 13-year old rescue Princess with anxiety and extra toes. She might be a little jealous, but I'd love to give your fur baby love and cuddles when you're away. I am comfortable with administering medicine (see: she has anxiety) and with elderly cats (a few years ago, I was living with 3 cats over the age of 16). More than happy to change litter, play games, scratch ears (or butts if your cat is a butt-cat), and accept cuddles. Basically impervious to cat claws at this point. The scratches just add character :D

About: I grew up with dogs and have two of my own, including a puppy I recently trained, so I’m great with both high-energy dogs and basic training. I’ve dog-sat for neighbors many times, including overnight stays, and always focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their routine. I’m very reliable, detail-oriented, and will keep you updated with photos throughout! I’m available Mondays and Friday–Sunday, with the exception of Saturdays from 2–4pm. I’m also available late Tuesday evenings, and I’m generally flexible with timing for earlier or daytime visits when needed. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was about 10 years old. I currently volunteer at our local animal shelter and have a dog of my own I rescued in college. About: Growing up with 6 dogs in our home at once, I have a special connection and love for animals. About: I had two felines for over 15 years but they recently passed away. They were my best friends, but they hated dogs, which brought me to Rover. I love dogs big and small, from german shepherds to a Maltese, I have never had the living situation to have one. I understand the importance of a routine in a dog's life and want to make them as comfortable as possible, especially when their human is not around. I love taking them out to play in the park or snuggling on the couch. Depending on the dog's needs I will take them for a short or long walk. We will make a plan catered to your specific pet. I have experience with giving medicine. I have experience with walking, overnight care, and in-home pups. I've always wanted a dog, let me give yours all the love I have to share. I have a flexible schedule and keep my rover calendar updated! I am an early riser and like to get moving so if you need morning help I am happy to do so. I try not to be out super late so unless I am doing an overnight the latest I'd do a visit it 9pm-10pm. Unfortunately, I can no longer offer home care in my house. For pet parents, I will arrive within the designated time, greet the pet with a warm hello, check the water to make sure it is clean and full, check the food to confirm the amount eaten, take the puppy outside to relieve itself, and/or change the puppy pad if required. Give the dog some good scratches and pats and maybe a treat if available. If the dog wants to play tug-o-war or fetch I'll do some of that too. I would like to tailor the visit to the dog's routine, so as not to cause any undue stress.

If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I have a very open schedule. “Chaqutia looked after my pup, Ralph, for just over a week. I was nervous about leaving him for such a long period of time especially as he was unwell. Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. Her family are truly lovely and her eldest child played with Ralph lots (particularly loved those videos) Would definitely use Chaqutia again and recommend her to others!”
