He was cautious when introducing Buddy to the other dogs in his care and we had a meet and greet prior to the stay which I appreciate, he goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs in his care are compatible to keep all dogs safe. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. My earliest memory is of my German shepherd at 3 years old running up to me and giving me lots of love and kisses. We can play as much as needed outside or just chill and relax inside with our friends. I am home most days so am generally available unless I get booked up to take care of your fur baby! You can rest assured your pet will be given lots of love with me! I have a toy poodle that loves company and playing with other dogs! I also welcome cats and can provide a large range of space or a more isolated environment, whatever they prefer!

About: I’ve been around dogs all my life! I grew up in the country side of Ireland and had many sheep dogs through my childhood. My love for animals started at a young age and quickly learned how smart and special they truly are. Through out the years I’ve developed an intuitive approach to caring for each animals individual personality and needs. This is my full time job Monday through Friday. Rates are listed but please note ! (Anything over 8hrs is an additional $20/hr) for daycare. I have a fenced yard for your dog to play and would never have more than 5/6 dogs at a time.I also live in a very walkable neighborhood with sidewalks and I’m close to , parks, farms, and nature hikes. Sadly I no longer have a pup of my own as he recently passed away.
“Posey had a great stay with Gretchen and her dog Sunny! She felt right at home from the first visit and I felt more than comfortable leaving her there. Sunny was super sweet and relaxed with another dog in his home. In the photos we received Posey looked very happy relaxing on the furniture and on walks! Communication with Gretchen was clear and prompt. We will definitely board Posey there again. So happy to have an homey alternative to the kennel!”

About: I've been petsitting for almost 20 years and I was able to adopt a sweet senior mini-schnauzer in 2021 named Marty. Marty LOVES other dogs and we would love to keep your dog company while you're out of town. I'm on vacation for the summer so we would love to host your fairy friends for a visit for a day or overnight. I'm available on weekends or when school is out (I'm a teacher). I'll have lots of time for walks, belly rubs. I live close to the rail trail and the walkway. Dogs are welcome on the couch and to sleep with me. If they are more comfortable in a crate, I've got room in for that too.
