“Matthew and his family are excellent dog caregivers! They have a very large fenced yard for the dogs to play. They are very attentive and sent many photos! I have an older newly adopted dog, they were so sweet and gentle with her. I highly recommend them!!!”

“Brittany was reliable and timely in communicating. Our fur babies had a good time with her and they came home feeling good. She was polite to interact with. We will be using her again if we need a sitter!”

“Nayeli was great! Excellent communications and expectations. We did a meet and greet to make sure Rosie and her pups got along. She was attentive to Rosie's needs and personality quirks, and sent lovely updates that were very reassuring. Will definitely book again!”

“Little Man had a wonderful vacation with Annette. He adjusted quickly and was very happy. I was quite comfortable leaving him with Annette. We will definitely use her again.”

“I cannot recommend Stephen enough. He took amazing care of our Buddy while we were away. He communicated and sent us videos and updates every day. He was cautious when introducing Buddy to the other dogs in his care and we had a meet and greet prior to the stay which I appreciate, he goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs in his care are compatible to keep all dogs safe. I look forward to using him in the future and I know Buddy will too. You can see that dogs in Stephens care are treated as his own and that is so comforting when leaving your dog in his care.”

“Cory is a sweet lovely person. My dog immediately fell very comfortable and happy in her home. She send me updates and photos in the daily basis. I recommend her and i will use her service again if i need a sitter.”

“Jennifer was an excellent sitter! She sent lots of updates and photos, and it was clear that Juliette was well cared for and having a great time. She even got her a little lamb toy, which was so sweet and unexpected. Would recommend her completely!”

“Erika was wonderful! Highly recommend (and will to my friends as well). She was extremely responsive in preparation for our trip, and understanding of some special needs for our yellow lab. She sent pictures throughout, and was flexible when a winter storm messed with our plans (she stayed up late so that we could pick up our pooch). Thanks for taking such great care of our dog, and for being such a pleasure throughout this process, Erika!”

“Terrance is definitely someone you can leave you dog with and won't have to worry about anything. He has prior experience with dealing with them, his dogs are friendly and calm. My dog isn't used to interacting with other dogs, but with Terrance and his dogs, Leo was able fit right into the pack. I will definitely book with Terrance again.”

“We have been using Victoria for a few years now and we recently adopted a second older dog that has some behavioral/ anxiety issues. I wasn't even worried about leaving our new guy with her because of how AMAZING she is. She constantly keeps you updated, takes the dogs on long walks and loves on them. There is not a better sitter!!”

“Rosalie was very kind to our senior dog, Bob. She has a lovely, clean home with a private, enclosed back yard for him to roam around. I would hire her again and recommend her to others.”

About: As lifelong dog owners who love to travel, we know how nerve racking it can be to leave your beloved pets in the care of strangers. We have 2 acres of property, of which a significant portion is fully fenced to let your dogs run and play with the security of knowing they are safe. We have three fenced in areas to separate dogs that might prefer to play on their own. Our resident dogs are Emma, who's never met a dog she didn't consider her best friend, and Honey, our bossy Pomeranian. We own an on-property outbuilding behind our home that is insulated, heated, and has water and electric. We are also very flexible for special needs guests--just tell us about your dog and what he or she needs to feel comfortable away from you. We will also provide pictures during your dog's stay if that is desired. Even if you have a unique situation, please inquire, we're happy to work with you! We are currently working from home and have plenty of time and space to provide your pup with the care and attention he or she needs! We have three fenced in dog areas along with a heated, insulated outbuilding with water and electric. Depending on how many dogs we are hosting, your pup will sleep comfortably in a crate with soft bedding with other dogs secured nearby. We are very flexible and happy to provide tailored service depending on your pup's needs.
“Stephanie took amazing care of my two older pups. Her home was welcoming, and her pets had a blast with their new playmates while we were out of town, Stephanie provided consistent updates and photos, we were able to relax and enjoy our getaway knowing they were in good hands. I will definitely be returning!”

“Christine is fantastic. My dog is super happy at her place—he has some rescue-dog type separation anxiety, and the environment at Christine’s makes him very comfortable.”

Pleasant Valley pet parents share their Rover experiences
Nicole is fantastic, exactly the kind of person you’d want watching your pet. This was our first time leaving Rae with a caretaker and Nicole made the whole process seamless and comfortable. She sent a steady stream of updates and photos, which was a constant relief and seemed to pop up just as I was wondering what Rae was up to. She has a real love for dogs that shines through and immediately treated Rae as a part of the family. She kept a watchful eye while allowing the dogs to have fun and be their silly selves. Rae came home to us happy, safe, and tired from a week of playing.

Donna was great. She treated my dog like he was her own. I felt extremely confident that Guinness was being very well taken care of. Guinness came home very happy but tired from all the fun he had playing with Donna's dogs. I will definitely use Donna and her services again. I'm very happy. I found her thank you so much.
