About: I've been taking care of cats since before I could walk. My current cat is a 13-year old rescue Princess with anxiety and extra toes. She might be a little jealous, but I'd love to give your fur baby love and cuddles when you're away. I am comfortable with administering medicine (see: she has anxiety) and with elderly cats (a few years ago, I was living with 3 cats over the age of 16). About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was about 10 years old. I currently volunteer at our local animal shelter and have a dog of my own I rescued in college. I also rescued a cat when I was a bit younger and working in the foster system with cats. I genuinely love pets so much and have experience with older pets, administering medication, puppies, and even aggressive dogs. My dog and I live in an apartment building and he was crate trained when he was a puppy. I would walk your dog using whatever harness/leash you prefer making sure their paws are safe and are well taken care of. I can give them enrichment time from doing training, playing with toys, or running around outside if there is a place they can do so safely.
About: Growing up with 6 dogs in our home at once, I have a special connection and love for animals. Working with rescues, pure breed dogs, females in heat and knowing how to whelp, has given me plenty of experience. I have been boarding dogs in my home for over 7 years. I am home full time, with the occasional errand to run. There is a place to hike, with great trails, right up the road from my home. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can run, play and hangout in the sun. I live on 9 acers, for us to explore and go for walks. About: I had two felines for over 15 years but they recently passed away. They were my best friends, but they hated dogs, which brought me to Rover. I love dogs big and small, from german shepherds to a Maltese, I have never had the living situation to have one. I understand the importance of a routine in a dog's life and want to make them as comfortable as possible, especially when their human is not around. I love taking them out to play in the park or snuggling on the couch. Depending on the dog's needs I will take them for a short or long walk. We will make a plan catered to your specific pet. I have experience with giving medicine. I have experience with walking, overnight care, and in-home pups. I've always wanted a dog, let me give yours all the love I have to share. I have a flexible schedule and keep my rover calendar updated! I am an early riser and like to get moving so if you need morning help I am happy to do so. I try not to be out super late so unless I am doing an overnight the latest I'd do a visit it 9pm-10pm. Unfortunately, I can no longer offer home care in my house. For pet parents, I will arrive within the designated time, greet the pet with a warm hello, check the water to make sure it is clean and full, check the food to confirm the amount eaten, take the puppy outside to relieve itself, and/or change the puppy pad if required. Give the dog some good scratches and pats and maybe a treat if available. If the dog wants to play tug-o-war or fetch I'll do some of that too. I would like to tailor the visit to the dog's routine, so as not to cause any undue stress.

About: If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash), running the trails, and swimming in a Lake will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I have a very open schedule. If you have a last minute appointment or you need anything on the same day I do take them I have a very open schedule one works in the morning and the other one works in the afternoon so your pet will never be alone. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I rescued my first dog from the local humane society when I was 11, and that experience started a lifelong passion for caring for animals. Before becoming a nurse, I worked as a veterinary assistant for two local animal hospitals where I gained valuable hands-on experience with animal care and handling. “Mildred and her family were incredibly wonderful to Luna and to me! They lived her like their own, and even fell IN love with her! I had lots of pictures from her even showing her lying on of the beds being pet. Luna is anxious and they either with her to warm up, there are two couples in the house and her son and they all take care of the dogs. What a wonderful place to leave your pup.”

“I cannot recommend Stephen enough. He took amazing care of our Buddy while we were away. He communicated and sent us videos and updates every day. He was cautious when introducing Buddy to the other dogs in his care and we had a meet and greet prior to the stay which I appreciate, he goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs in his care are compatible to keep all dogs safe. I look forward to using him in the future and I know Buddy will too. You can see that dogs in Stephens care are treated as his own and that is so comforting when leaving your dog in his care.”

“Amruta took excellent care of Happy. Happy is 3yr old, we have never left him alone. He has lot of separation anxiety. This is the first time I left Happy for boarding. I was very worried about how he would stay for 3 nights. Amruta went above and beyond to take care of Happy. She sent me constant updates. Happy became very comfortable and was playing well in no time. I could relax and enjoy my vacation knowing that he is in good hands. Happy also had a mini vacation and enjoyed time at Amruta place.
