“Would highly and sincerely recommend. Incredibly caring towards my little mamas, and so respectful of my space. Made sure to gather all the info he needed from me. Regular updates and communication.”

About: Aside from growing up with two dogs throughout their puppy and elderly stages of life, I have lots of experience with animals that are not my own. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds—to the point where I consider the squirrels that come to my college dorm window my friends! I love helping out the pet owners in my community and often volunteer to watch dogs for free, just because I enjoy it. I have lots of experience with dogs that have special needs (i.e. injuries or medicine), and I take the responsibility of pet care seriously. I approach all animals with the same love and care as if they were my own, and i understand uniquely how worried we can get about our pets when we’re away. Part of my petsitting M.O. is frequent updates (especially photos) to give owners peace of mind. I have a special place in my heart for dogs, but am a lover of all animals and have experience with cats and bunnies as well. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I am a college junior currently at home for summer break. I will be taking two vacations in the next few months, but other than that my schedule allows for extremely open and flexible hours! I approach all pets with gentleness and respect, and i make sure to provide ample time for them to get used to my presence before interactions. I follow instructions thoroughly, so detail there is always appreciated, and I like to be in consistent contact with owners in case there are questions, concerns, or updates. I understand strangers can be nerve wracking for pets and their parents, so I do my very best to earn trust and be patient!

“Rachel was wonderful with our two pups! We really enjoyed working with her and meeting her own fur baby, Marty. Thanks for everything, Rachel!”

About: I've had three dogs throughout my life growing up and in my adult life. I currently own two cats, Kitty Smalls and Kat Williams, two rescue tabbys. I love them and I'd love to extend that love to your fur babies. If I could only do pet care, I would. I'd love this to be a full-time thing for me because I love animals and caring for them. I have a huge backyard for your dogs and I'd love to take them to the dog parks. I also have ample room for cats in my home. A large four-bedroom home.

“Loren was absolutely fabulous and took great care of our dog Buckee. She followed our instructions perfectly and her took a liking to her immediately. She also brought in and unpacked a grocery delivery for us that we forgot was arriving! We can’t wait for her to watch Buckee again.”

About: My family always had many pets in the house. From a very early age I learned how to be nurturing, caring, and dependable. I work in the human services field aspiring to be a clinical social worker. My full-time job is in children services including respite care and comprehensive case management experience. I consider myself a deeply caring individual that animals seem safe and calm to be around. Any and all ages of dogs and cats are welcome -- I will do everything I can to ensure your favorite companion is well taken care of! I think to start I would like to do weekends. I generally work 9-5pm so I can be flexible in the evenings as well. I'm open. I put the animal first, gauge their comfortability, and remain highly perceptive to behavior and environment. I have experience managing big dogs and puppies (100+) on leads, in highly populated areas (Downtown Brooklyn), and feel confident in my care-taking abilities. In the past I have babysat and nannied children. In my current role I often have home visits with my families (many of which have various species of pets).

“Emma was wonderful with our 3 babies. She took her own time to come do a meet and greet. She understood all the needs and necessary care of our high needs elderly dog. She communicated well, gave multiple daily reports, and sent cute/funny stories about things our dogs did while we were away. She even sent a ton of pictures, which alleviated my anxiety about leaving them. When we returned, everything was cleaned and tidy and also well taken care of. I highly recommend Emma for your dog care needs.”
