“Claire was *fantastic*! She took incredible care of our menagerie for five nights/6 days: three mid size dogs (50-60lb); two older, each on a number of medications, and a very spunky 5yo. We also have three cats including a frail 15 yo; and 9 hens. We live in an old farmhouse that is in various stages of renovation - for sure, not the easiest for house sitting. Thankfully Claire was undaunted by the challenge. During our time away, she was terrific providing updates and was super quick with replies when I had the additional need to check in- super reassuring, especially give that this was our first time with Rover, and having a combined housesitter/animal sitter at this house. We returned home to a very content crew - the truest sign of being well cared for in our absence, and the house in perfect order- seemingly better than we left it. We highly recommend Claire, without reservation. She was truly outstanding.”

About: I’ve had animals since I was a child. A horse when I was 10 dogs, cats and still have dogs, cats and a horse in my life as of now have no problems with ministering medication to any animal. I am retired. Looking for a hobby that I love. I am available all times of the day seven days a week. It may be so. Emma came by for a meet and greet prior to my trip and I could tell Marley was immediately comfortable around her. Marley is a 10 year old Yorkie who was rescued from a breeding facility with a history of severe abuse, so she’s a bit timid and it speaks volumes when she warms up to someone new very quickly. Emma’s education and professional training was a great fit for Marley and I could see her true compassion and love for animals as soon as I met her. She has great attention to detail, is very flexible, great with communication, and was very respectful of my home. I was very happy to have someone I could trust to keep Marley comfortable in her home environment so I could enjoy my time away. About: My earliest memories feature dogs and cats, and they have been in my life since the age of three. Frankly, it's difficult to imagine my life without them. I have been taking care of my own, family and friends furry companions from the age of ten. I'm here for the snuggles, pets, playtimes, walks, potty breaks, litter changes and the quiet times too. From tiny, eight week old puppies, prime adults and elderly dogs that require a different kind of care and patience, to rambunctious kittens and their chill adult counterparts, each animal has a personality of their own; I'm here for them all. When people ask if I'm a cat or dog person, for me there isn't a choice; it's both! I've had experience with: - House and command training puppies from the age of eight weeks and up - Daily walks, usually between 30 min minimum to 2-3 hours; I love walks too, so it's a win-win 🐾 - Administering oral and topical medications to canines; mouths, eyes, and ears - Playtime! Or just keeping them quiet company, if that's what they prefer. - Dropping in and checking on our feline babies: changing litter boxes, feeding, play and keeping them company. I love spending time with cats of any size and stage. I am currently working part-time in food/hospitality, and begin seasonal event work in the springtime so my schedule is flexible. Currently, I have flexible availability for walks, drop-in visits or house-stays on Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. When dropping in for a visit at a client's home, I always make sure to keep the space secure and clean for our four-legged friends.
