“Sarah was great! We have a 4 month old pup that needs attention and care and Sarah was nothing short of amazing with him. She kept us updated and sent pictures throughout the day. Oscar took and instant liking to her. I have no reservations with leaving Oscar with Sarah and will most certainly be working with her again!”

“Rose is the the absolute best. There are just no words to even say. Already have her booked 3 more times. My puppies lover her and she keeps everything neat and clean even better then it was left.”

“We are grateful to Breanna for taking such good care of Skipper, and for communicating so well with us. It was great to have him in such good hands! And thanks for sending the photos! Much appreciated.”

“We always know Cooper is in good hands with Shana! This was her first overnight stay with him and everything went super smooth! Cooper was in great spirits and our apartment was extremely clean when we returned! Shana kept us posted with photos and updates the entire weekend :-)”

“My wife and I love Paula!!! Almost as much as it appears that Elsie loves her! We are SO at ease knowing that Elsie will be cared for the same way that we care for her. SUCH A RELIEF AND A PLEASURE!”

About: I love all animals and am always excited to get to meet new loving dogs and cats. Based in the Capital Region 10min from downtown Albany NY. I have done some dog sitting privately for a pampered pup. I love dogs of all breeds and sizes. Attended the dog show meet the breeds in new york city. Dependable and responsible dog walker at your service also flexible to meet your schedule. I get along well with most any animal and have three purrfect cats and fish at home. I love to get outside myself to hike and enjoy the outdoors. I'm confident that I can be a great asset to any owner in need of an extra set of hands. Also drop in service for feeding or potty breaks is available. Looking forward to meeting your furry friends. Working remotely with a flexible schedule. I love going for walks several times throughout the day myself. Always excited to have a furry friend along. Three happy cats at home that demand to be fed promptly at 6am and 6pm. They get lots of love and attention. Treats from time to time but not too much.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for most of my life, regularly volunteering at local shelters, and caring for two dogs and three cats of my own. I love to be active, and I am ready, willing, and able to bring your dogs on long, fun, and enriching walks. I also adore spending down time with pets, showing them all the love and affection you do! I’ve taken care of up to three dogs at once, and I am up for any challenge! I am flexible to your pets needs (medications, special diets, etc.) and will treat your pet as if they were my own. I am currently a part-time employee and student. My schedule is relatively stable but subject to change. I am unavailable at the following times due to my class/work schedule: Monday and Thursday (11:00-12:15, 3:30-4:45), Tuesday and Friday (7:30-1:30). However, I am ready to work with you to establish a schedule that work for both of us! I only do care at client’s homes because of my two cats at home who generally do not like other animals. I am ready to utilize client’s backyards, nearby trails, and anything else owners implement into their pet’s daily routine!
“This was our first time using Rover and we were definitely a bit nervous about it. It is difficult in this day and age to trust someone to stay in your home and care for your pets. We were away for a two week vacation and were in need of someone to watch our dogs during the week and stay overnight in our home. Lori came through for us in doing just that. We met her first for a meet and greet. After several messages back and forth, she reassured me that our dogs would be well cared for and they were. She is a true animal lover. Our dogs were safe in their home thanks to Lori and did not have to be stressed out in a kennel that was unfamiliar to them. I would highly recommend Lori for taking care of your pets.”

“Leslie was fantastic! We felt so lucky to have found her to care for our pup (and our home!). She obviously was on top of the feedings, walkings, etc…but what we really valued was the love she gave our dog while we were away. We are always anxious to go away and leave our dog, but we’ll def. be a bit less anxious next time now that we’ve found Leslie!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats for the last 10 years, and my friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk and feed their pets too! I love cats and dogs of all kinds! I work Wednesday-Monday during the day so I can walk, feed, or play with pets in the afternoons and evenings or I can house sit overnight. I am used to high-energy dogs and cats that need someone to play with and get their energy out, or to take them for a long walk.
“We were so happy to find Aliza on the Rover app. We have a new rescue dog, Cobalt, and we were concerned about leaving him for the first time, while we went on a week long cruise that we booked last year. Aliza took great care of Cobalt and sent us frequent photos and updates to let us know how well he was doing. We will certainly hire Aliza again when we need a dog sitter.”

“Claire was *fantastic*! She took incredible care of our menagerie for five nights/6 days: three mid size dogs (50-60lb); two older, each on a number of medications, and a very spunky 5yo. We also have three cats including a frail 15 yo; and 9 hens. We live in an old farmhouse that is in various stages of renovation - for sure, not the easiest for house sitting. Thankfully Claire was undaunted by the challenge. During our time away, she was terrific providing updates and was super quick with replies when I had the additional need to check in- super reassuring, especially give that this was our first time with Rover, and having a combined housesitter/animal sitter at this house. We returned home to a very content crew - the truest sign of being well cared for in our absence, and the house in perfect order- seemingly better than we left it. We highly recommend Claire, without reservation. She was truly outstanding.”

“We are new to the area and hired Monica to house sit and watch our dog Penny. She offered to come meet us in person before booking, which was so generous. Monica was responsive, kind, and left us with so much confidence leaving her with our dog and home. She was flexible with arrival and departure time, sent us updates and photos, and we will continue to hire Monica again and again- what a gem!!!”

“Lily has taken great care of my dog and is very communicative. She even stayed with my pup when my heat and hot water unexpectedly went out while she was there. Super thankful for her love and care for my bebe!”

“Nathan did a wonderful job looking after our three eccentric cats. We have one cat who needs meds twice a day and he had no problem dosing him. Even the shy cat came out for him! We came home to calm, happy cats! Thank you Nate!”

“We are very pleased with Max. He took care of our Labradoodle Rosie while we were away on a month-long overseas holiday. Max kept Rosie active and entertained and he sent photos and videos almost every day. Rosie has lots of curly hair, so she requires frequent grooming to keep it in check. Max did his best, 😉. Max fed Rosie exactly to our specifications. He kept our home orderly and he cleaned up after himself. We couldn't have been more pleased to come home to a happy and healthy dog and a tidy home. Five paws up! 🐶 🐶 🐶 🐶 🐶”

“Sarah was fantastic! We booked her for our 2 labs because we were getting married ! We didn't have to worry about them once, she played with them, and kept them happy. We would absolutely recommend her !”

“Angie was all we could hope for in a sitter for our new rescue pup. Our dog immediately warmed up to her calm and gentle nature, and she had everything under control, in addition to endless snuggles for our pup while we were away. There was full peace of mind that our fur child was in great hands! Would call her again in a heartbeat, esp since our dog clearly didn’t want her to leave after we came home! Haha”

I booked Sarah on short notice and she was wonderful. She was very accomodating and she kept me updated with pictures and text message. It was a pleasure to work with her and my dog and 3 cats loved her too. Would definitely recommend her and would use her again!
Max is awesome! He came and stayed with our rascally and energetic 6 month old husky mix, Marshmallow, for 3 nights and nearly 4 days. Marshy is a sweetie, but needs a ton of exercise in order to not be a pain in the ass. Max absolutely delivered, took him on pack hikes and runs all around Kingston and New Paltz. We came back late Sunday night to a calm and happy pup. We’ll absolutely book Max again!

"I recommend Madison! She is friendly, and reliable, and was available when I needed her. Her genuine care for dogs and attention to detail gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in great hands. She goes above and beyond to ensure my dog felt comfortable, loved, and well taken care of. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your furry family member, Madison is a great choice!"
