Grace and Julia were great! Both of my pets are older and on medications. I had total trust that Grace and Julia could handle their needs which gave me the comfort I was looking for. They were available when I needed them and even came to do a meet and greet! I will be using them again for sure!

About: I've owned a small dogwalking/pet sitting business since 1999. I(Maria) am CPDT-KA certified in dog training as well. I've worked with all breeds of dogs, ages with many different dispositions. My husband & I moved from Brooklyn(where we had our biz since 2006) to New Paltz this summer. We are continuing to do personal & very limited boarding in our new home. I(Maria) am also offering private training sessions(in your home) . I specialize in puppy or newly adopted pups/dogs. Doggie care is part of my daily routine. I have 2 dogs of my own, both less energy less days, but still enjoy getting their walks & sniffs in. The very limited boarding means your dogs stay with our family, always supervised & leashed outside. We have many dogs beds but can bring your own.

About: Hello, I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 11 years old. From dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, you name it! I’ve trained many puppies and love everyone’s furry friends. Fun Fact my dog at home is scared of thunder, so I always sit in the bathtub with him until he’s ready to come out (photo included) I’ve also babysat and house sat for many years :) I have maximum 2 one hour classes a day with a 3 hour gap in between! So there will be plenty of time for me to take care of your furry friends!!! I live in a single room on campus with loads of space and two beds if the pets want to have a comfy space. When I have to leave for a class I play zen pet music to help calm them down if I have to leave!

About: I have had my own dog, Stella, for 2 years, since she was a puppy. I frequently babysit my neighbor's dog, Mako, who is a 6 month old puppy. I know the ins and outs of watching, feeding, and entertaining dogs. Additionally I previously worked at an animal shelter where I was responsible for multiple dogs at the same time. My dog gets walked and fed at around 6 am, then walked again at 11-12 am depending on if she peed or pooped or both prior. Then she gets walked at 5 pm before dinner, and again before bed at around 8-9 pm. She usually gets 10-15 minute walks each time depending on how long it takes for her to do her business and play. I will take care of all my responsibilities in a timely and thorough manner. I understand that dogs are family members and they need to be treated with love, patience and care and I also understand how much trust you are putting in me to take care of your pet.

About: I am currently a vet-tech student. I am fear-free certified. I know the scramble for pet care and how scary it can be to trust someone new with your pets. I hope to ease those fears and you can know your pet is getting the care they need. I am currently a student so my schedule varies, and I am looking for a part time job to fill in some gaps. This would also provide me the flexibility ot take on pet-care when my schedule allows so that the care level is never compromised. I will adhere to any rules or weird quirks your pet may have developed. For example growing up our dog would only eat if you made him think it was cooked the same way human food was cooked. We had to do a whole thing on the stove to seem like we were stirring it to fully cooked. I will always be mindful of any openings in yards and be sure they're closed off or that the pet is leashed properly before any door is opened.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for over 15 years. I pet sat many times as a child and continued through adulthood including, walking, feeding, administering medicine, baths & snuggles! I also volunteered at a local animal shelter as a dog walker. Currently 3 cats and a rambunctious German Shepard/Siberian Husky 3 years old. I have cared for all kinds of pets including but not limited to goats, chickens, horses, pigs, donkeys etc I’m currently working full time but have a very flexible schedule and can move my hours around to meet your needs especially for early morning and later evening check ins or during work hours! I have worked with leash trained and non leash trained dogs if you have a fenced in yard. I prefer leash trained dogs for public walks with a standard leash. I love animals, their snuggles & kisses too! I have kids & animals so drool & slobber don’t bother me!

TJ was amazing! He was always on time and had great communication throughout the entire process. He even went out of his way to do more than what was asked of him. He was so patient and gentle with my dog Mia, and she absolutely loved him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

About: I have been pet sitting and dog walking since my very early ages. I am in expert in care for dogs, cats, reptiles, and rodents. I have four years of professional dog walking/pet sitting experience, but a decades worth of experience in general animal care. I worked for a high-end dog walking service in DC and have been on Rover for around 2-3 years now. I have also worked at a vet, and am familiar with the health needs of most animals. I am currently in school at SUNY New Paltz, but if I can manage to fit dog walking or pet care in my schedule, I will always put in the effort to do so! I always make sure the pet has new water and lots of pets after doing the service I was hired for. I take care of my furry clients with patience and compassion.

About: I've loved dogs since I was a little kid, I always wanted to go and play with every dog we saw growing up. For years, I had asked my parents for a dog, and they finally said yes a few years ago. Since getting my dogs, a 12 year old Shitzu and a 12 year old Maltese Yorkie, my love for them only grew, and I love taking care of them. I've always known that I wanted to work with dogs once I got older. I've watched and currently watch over many dogs, whether they stay at my house or I go to theirs. I'm more familiar with smaller/medium sized dogs, but I am very comfortable with all sizes. I give every dog I work with my constant attention and care. I walk, feed, clean up after, give medicine to them, and of course, lots of cuddles and pets. Every pup is different, and I will do my absolute best to work with you and listen to instructions about how to give yours the best experience they could wish for! I am currently in school but have a very flexible and open schedule. I have off on Wednesdays and Friday-Sunday. I have a car so I am able to go back and forth as needed. I live in a house, and have a fenced in yard that contains a driveway, a deck, and large patch of grass for your puppy to do their business and have fun in! I have two 12 year old pups of my own, a Shitzu and a Maltese Yorkie. They'll greet your dog at arrival, but for the most part they mind their own business. I live with my mom, dad, and my two sisters. We all love dogs and will give your puppy all the attention they need. The dogs are allowed on most of the furniture and will be able to sleep anywhere on the first floor, or with me in my bed. I will follow any rules you have at your home and will treat your pup as similar to the way you do!

The dogs loved Shana. The pictures Shana sent and the communications with us really built the trust we like to feel in folks who take care for our dogs. She came for a meet and greet the night before which was very helpful for us and our dogs. Bonus she did great turning off and rearming our alarm system. Will gladly seek out Shana again for further dog sitting and walking. A+++++ Dogs were obviously well cared for when we got home.
