“Catherine was very friendly and laidback. I think my cats sensed her easygoing personality. My cats liked her as soon as she walked in. I am very happy to see my cats looking good and relaxed. Definitely will ask her for more cat sitting.”

“Timothy is absolutely amazing! I can’t recommend him enough. He takes such wonderful care of my two dogs, Tess and Nipsy, and it’s obvious how much he genuinely cares about them. They absolutely adore him and are always so excited to see him, which gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re with someone they trust and love. Timothy is dependable, trustworthy, kind, and incredibly attentive. He treats Tess and Nipsy like they’re his own, and that means everything to me. Finding someone you can completely trust with your fur babies isn’t always easy, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found him. If you’re looking for a dog walker who is reliable, caring, and truly goes above and beyond, Timothy is your guy! Tess, Nipsy, and I give him 10/10 — five stars all the way! 🐾❤️⭐️”

About: I have owned dogs since childhood and have recently been caring for pets of neighbors and friends for the past year and a half. I love the company of animals and would love to help in anyway I can I work in the athletics department at Army West Point which allows for a very flexible schedule. I live 5 minutes from work and are able to come home frequently. I am typically in the office from 2-6 (our practice slot) with the rest of the day being available to walk to and play I have a backyard with space to play and exercise as well as space to be comfy and entertained in my home. I will happily provide a crate if necessary and have lots of toys and treats that will make your fur baby feel right at home

About: I’ve been able to train basic skills for families dogs within a day (sit, twirl, lay down). Often times just as a fun activity with the kids. I am keen on following specific directions to help keep your pet within their healthy routine! I am a graduate student, meaning I have more flexibility than most other people. Without the typical restraints of a 9-5, but the eagerness of a student, I am able to provide a wider range of services and support to your family. Families have been trusting me for years with both their children and their pets. I’ve worked in public education and have my fingerprints within the NYS database and have been carefully cleared with a background check.
“Ebony is a lifesaver!!! Took care of our four pets for 3 days super super last minute — she is super communicative, sends pictures often, and took our dogs on a walk daily. I have a kitten and she took special care of him. Took extra time to make sure each pet felt comfy with her. She’s our go-to sitter now!”

About: I currently own an amazing certified Good Boy Austalian Cattle Dog and two snuggly cats. I have have always owned at least one pet, both cats and dogs since I was little. I have done a decent amount of pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I have even had to give oral meds to one dog I dog sat. If you have any questions, please ask! Dogs will always get at least a 15 minutes walk because my dog usually needs a longer one. I sometimes give my cats and dog breakfast and then usually give the dog a quick 15 walk in the morning before leaving for work at 7:30 am. I get back home around 3:00 pm and usually give my dog his actual long walk between 40 and 70 minutes depending on weather. I feed the animals and then have dinner and usually just relax and snuggle on the couch with at least one of the fur kids. I fit in other cleaning and what not in there but I always make it a point to walk my doggo and make sure they get snuggles since I am gone for a good portion of the day. I have room for a crate for a crate trained dog. I have a moderately sized backyard that is well fenced in. My dog is a counter surfer so we have baby gates for both the kitchen and the extra bedroom. The extra bedroom serves as the cat room so the cats have a dedicated space. Stuff can be adjusted if you have a cat not used to dogs, so they can have that entire room or vice versa our cats can go in there for a dog that is not cat friendly. We only live five minutes from Marbletown Animal Hospital of any emergencies arise needing urgent care if your vet is not available.
“Megen is a kind animal lover who takes great care of our senior dog. She is attentive to his needs and provides little extras like straightening his bed to make him more comfortable, allowing him extra time outside, giving him approved treats from the fridge, and making sure he is happy with extra pats before bed. I am so happy that I found Megen to care for Chance!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - New Paltz
We had some family visiting from out of town and needed someone to swing by to keep our dog Otis company while we were out, as he's been exhibiting some separation anxiety as of late. Courtney was communicative & flexible throughout our exchanges, and was really great with Otis. He got nervous when we were leaving but she was able to calm him down and hang with him until we got home a few hours later. Will definitely be using her services again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
