About: Hi, I’m Cory! I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have many years of hands on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I grew up with multiple dogs of my own and have also cared for many dogs and cats through Rover over the years. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I do have a kitten named Callie who is very friendly and accustomed to the dogs that stay with us. Your dog does not need to be cat friendly to stay with me. If your dog doesn’t do well with cats, just let me know ahead of time so I can make arrangements to keep Callie safely separated and give your dog their own space. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pet while you’re away. My goal is to make every dog in my care feel safe, comfortable, loved, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs and am happy to follow specific feeding schedules, walking routines, sleeping arrangements, and other instructions you provide. I’m also experienced with administering medications, including oral medications and insulin injections, and I’m comfortable caring for dogs who require a little extra attention as part of their daily routine. I currently work at a middle school on weekdays until 1:45 PM. While I’m at work, my husband is home with our three children, so dogs staying with us are never left home alone during that time. Once I’m home, I’m available to provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, cuddles, and companionship. We also have a fully fenced in yard, giving dogs plenty of space to safely get outside, stretch their legs, play, and enjoy some fresh air throughout the day. IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Because this is a family home with children and I may care for dogs from more than one household, all dogs staying with me must be friendly and safe around children. Dogs must also be friendly with other dogs unless we have discussed and arranged a private stay in advance. If your dog is not dog friendly or you are unsure how they behave around other dogs, I may still be able to accommodate them ONLY when arranged with me ahead of time and I have no other dogs scheduled to board during their stay. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I rescued my first dog from the local humane society when I was 11, and that experience started a lifelong passion for caring for animals. Before becoming a nurse, I worked as a veterinary assistant for two local animal hospitals where I gained valuable hands-on experience with animal care and handling. About: I've had animals most of my life and genuinely love fur babies. Friends and family have relied on me for years to walk, feed, board, and care for their pets of all different breeds because of my love for animals and my attention to each animal’s unique needs. I currently have two pups, Mr. Milo and Bellarina, and have personally owned dogs of different life stages, from puppy to elderly. I have experience with adult and elderly cat care as well. I started on Rover to be able to care for as many dogs and cats as possible, since my schedule affords me that freedom. I can’t get enough! I'm available for boarding Thursday through Sunday morning (early morning pickup), and dog walking almost every day of the week. I can feed your pet based on whatever schedule you have them on. There's plenty of grassy area in the communal living area and a near by park to take your pup on daily walks.
