“Mary has been so wonderful with my dog and cat. I work a lot and I am always worried about my pets being home alone all day. Mary takes the time to really make them comfortable and takes care of them like they are her own. Which gives me a peace of mind. I get home from work less anxious knowing they had a loving person come check on them every day while I am at work. I highly recommend her services”

“Communicative and easy going! Aliza also took a lot of great pics of my baby which I super appreciate because I miss him so much on days I have to go into the office. Will 100% book Aliza again!”

“Nathan walked our dog twice yesterday and also fed her. Communication was easy and all instructions were followed, leaving us with peace of mind and a happy dog. I’m wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services to others.”

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and grew up with dogs, cats, fish, and even rabbits. Friends and family have always trusted me to help with their pets, and I treat every animal like part of the family. I’d love to do the same for yours. I am currently a full time online college student and work at the elementary school during lunch/recess. My schedule is very flexible, so I can work with you to care for your fur babies when they need it most. While caring for your pet, I will be able to confidently keep them happy, safe and healthy. I feel comfortable with giving medications, light grooming, feeding, walking, playing, and maintaining any training you are doing. I am happy to scoop litter boxes and pick up dog poops in the yard too! Whatever keeps the routine predictable for you and your pet.
“Kristen was lovely! On time and very sweet and patient with my anxious pup. She had nice energy, and comes across as very responsible and caring. I felt confident that my pup was in good hands with Kristen. Will definitely hire her again!”

“Amy was amazing with our babies! Saffy is a tough pup to win over and she warmed up to Amy right away. She was patient and gentle with them and went above and beyond to make them comfortable. They got lots of exercise and had lots of fun, giving Amy lots of kisses after the walk.”

“TJ was amazing! He was always on time and had great communication throughout the entire process. He even went out of his way to do more than what was asked of him. He was so patient and gentle with my dog Mia, and she absolutely loved him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Alex was delightful to meet in person for our meet and greet and treated our pup with kindness. Even though Penny hates walking in the rain, Alex got her outside and then played a bit indoors. Fantastic!”

About: I have taken care of many dogs and currently have 11 year old pt/lab mix who I currently take care of at my parents house! I am currently a full time student so I have a lot of evening time and weekend time to care for your pets as needed! I will feed/ give water to your pets and also show them that much needed attention while you are away at work/ vacation/ or leisure
About: If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash), running the trails, and swimming in a Lake will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I have a very open schedule. Usually I go to the park go with my family who enjoy the day doing things outside the house. If you have a last minute appointment or you need anything on the same day I do take them I have a very open schedule one works in the morning and the other one works in the afternoon so your pet will never be alone. I had pets before they pass away. We used to love our pets so much. We took CPR classes and emergency classes for pets just in case.

About: I had two felines for over 15 years but they recently passed away. They were my best friends, but they hated dogs, which brought me to Rover. I love dogs big and small, from german shepherds to a Maltese, I have never had the living situation to have one. I understand the importance of a routine in a dog's life and want to make them as comfortable as possible, especially when their human is not around. I love taking them out to play in the park or snuggling on the couch. Depending on the dog's needs I will take them for a short or long walk. We will make a plan catered to your specific pet. I have experience with giving medicine. I have experience with walking, overnight care, and in-home pups. I've always wanted a dog, let me give yours all the love I have to share. I have a flexible schedule and keep my rover calendar updated! I am an early riser and like to get moving so if you need morning help I am happy to do so. I try not to be out super late so unless I am doing an overnight the latest I'd do a visit it 9pm-10pm. Unfortunately, I can no longer offer home care in my house. For pet parents, I will arrive within the designated time, greet the pet with a warm hello, check the water to make sure it is clean and full, check the food to confirm the amount eaten, take the puppy outside to relieve itself, and/or change the puppy pad if required. Give the dog some good scratches and pats and maybe a treat if available. If the dog wants to play tug-o-war or fetch I'll do some of that too. I would like to tailor the visit to the dog's routine, so as not to cause any undue stress.
“Mario is excellent i highly recommend him. he goes the extra mile to help out making sure the dogs are comfortable and really appreciate him being so flexible with the schedule”

About: I’ve had animals since I was a child. A horse when I was 10 dogs, cats and still have dogs, cats and a horse in my life as of now have no problems with ministering medication to any animal. I am retired. Looking for a hobby that I love. I am available all times of the day seven days a week. It may be so. I have five small dogs of my own with a backyard fenced in and a doggie door for them to go in and out as they please.
About: I’m a dog mom in Poughkeepsie. I am a social worker who works from home with my 11year old chiweenie dog Barney! My schedule is pretty flexible and can work around your needs. Feel free to ask me more questions. Looking forward to meeting you and your dogs! I work from home so I'm flexible with scheduling. I'm free Monday to Sunday and will accept same day booking. Please reach out if you have any questions I always allow the dog or cat to approach me at their own pace with a calm, attentive, and warm demeanor. I also follow any instructions provided by you, including leash preferences, commands, and behavior cues. During walks, I stay aware of the surroundings, keeping a safe distance from other dogs or potential hazards. Offer praise, treats (if permitted), and reassurance to build a positive connection.
About: I have been a pet sitter since I was 6 dogs, cats, etc. Feeding, walking, baths, cuddles. I have a dog myself and always look at every dog I’ve ever watched as if they were my own. I raised 2 litters of boxers as well so puppies are more than welcomed. I work as a Special Police Officer in DC, I work as a Lieutenant. I currently have Thursday’s and Fridays off. I have a small fenced space but a huge walkway behind my house. It’s a beautiful trail and I’m more than happy to take the pups on a walk there. Very pet friendly. I only accept pet watching request on my days off and vacations. I have my own dog as well and treat yours the same. Therefore my boxer is high energy and if I have a high energy dog I’d take the other dog through the same walks I do with her. Or I can adjust it for a senior dog etc. I have a ton of dog toys in my home and would happily take the animal on the trail behind my home. There is also a small tennis court where I live, most people use it to let dogs run around when no one is using it. I bring my dog there to play ball sometimes.

Lauren was, as always, awesome! She showed up on time, kept me perfectly updated, and took our spoiled princess on a walk that clearly made her day. She even made sure there was water and that the queen of the living room was comfy. The whole process was super smooth, and judging by the pictures, my crazy little buddy was absolutely thrilled to be with Lauren 😊
