Hi there! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats since I was a kid, including raising and training puppies and helping older pets feel comfortable and loved. After spending over 30 years in supervisor and manager roles, I decided it was time to do more of what truly makes me happy—spending time with animals and helping them stay healthy, happy, and active. I’m extremely reliable, hardworking, and committed to treating every pet as if they were my own. I use an eco-friendly electric bike to get around, so you can count on me to show up on time while keeping my transportation sustainable. I’ve lived in my Poughkeepsie home for over 20 years and know all the best local parks and trails for great walks and adventures. I also enjoy hiking, biking, and being outdoors—so your dog will always have a walking partner with plenty of energy! I’d love the opportunity to get to know you and your furry friend.

Bruce was very accommodating with the care instructions I left for my two dogs. He was punctual, friendly, and gave them time to get comfortable with him before taking them for their walk. Will rely on him again in the future!

Bruce is great! Last year I had three cats with three very different personalities. One was very old and did not want to do much but be pet and eat. The second was very nervous, and mostly hid from people. The third was always under foot and wanted to be the center of attention. Somehow all three loved Bruce. Bruce has a caring spirit and has never let me or my animals down. I have also watched him with his own dog, and I believe that she is the luckiest dog in the world. Bruce is no drama…if he says he’s going to be there he will be there, and he will take very good care of your animals.
Bruce is the number one person I would trust with any animal. He understands the importance of nutritious food, fun time, active time, rest time, and bonding time. Walking big or small dogs, he allows them to set the pace - it is their walk after all - while keeping them safe at all times. With my cats, Bruce has taken the time to make sure they feel safe and secure with him, and he has always gone above and beyond just feeding them and emptying the kitty litter. Bruce is hard-working, loyal, reliable, responsible, and consistent. I cannot recommend him enough!
Bruce is great with animals and loves being around them. He is great at taking care of dogs and very caring and responsive to their needs.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available most days for walks and drop-in visits. I’m currently transitioning from my full-time job to focusing on pet care full time, so I’m happy to accommodate a variety of schedules—including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. As I build my client base, I’ll make your pet’s care my top priority.
