About: I have been an active volunteer with the Elmore SPCA in Peru Ny for 4 years. I often walk, socialize, enrich, and foster the dogs in the shelters care. I have worked with puppy's as young as 3 months up to the elder dogs to provide comfort. I am currently home for summer between my graduate years of college, my work schedule varies week to week. I have lived in this area for my entire life and am comfortable with traveling for the care. Unfortunately during this time I am unable to have pets in my home. To ensure the safety for me and your pets I have completed all state required ASPCA programs to work professionally with animals. The topics for dogs and cats included; body language, diseases, safety and management, and cleaning regulations. I have regularly walked and fostered dogs from Elmore SPCA in upstate NY. Through them I have gained lots of experience handling different breeds, temperaments, sizes and ages of dogs.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life growing up and currently have my own pets now. I’ve worked in an animal hospital as a Vet tech assistant/kennel manager for a few years. I then after that worked for my local shelter for about 10 years as a kennel worker and I was head of our dog behavioral team. I know how to read dog body language, and give meds if need be. I am a balance dog trainer that makes her own schedule, I work around my pet setting schedule! I'm currently a dog trainer and make my own schedule, I can provide pet sitting when ever needed because I can make my schedule around when I need to pet sit! I would treat my client’s pets like they were one of my own pets. I would do what ever I can to make your animals feel comfortable while you are gone.

About: Through my life, I have been a pet parent for several dogs of different ages. Family, friends, and clients have trusted me with their pets since a young age. Dogs from all ages are welcome including those with dietary and medical needs. I’ve made the decision to leave the banking industry after several years to pursue happiness and focus on my passions. Having a flexible schedule allows me to give your pet the care it needs from potty breaks to overnight stays. I love going for walks and hikes and would love for your pet to attend. As a house sitter, I provide specialized care for each pet, ensuring their happiness and safety at all times. My experience includes administering medication as well, if needed.

About: I have a large animal science degree. BA in Equine science. I breed ND goats and Australian shepherds for over 20 years. I also groom on the side. I work from home so I’m pretty close by at all times. I’m originally from this area so I know my way around. I’m up early to take care of my own animals. I have separate fenced in areas for my dogs, goats and chickens. I have two small areas also fenced in away from my own animals. Plus I have woods with trails to walk in.

About: My name is Danielle and I own Shiny Paws Dog Spa. An at home dog spa where I make sure the dogs have a personal one on one experience with me. I want nothing more than to have them feel relaxed and loved. Can’t wait to meet everyone! I am currently home full time. Running a dog spa out of my own home full time. Your pups will be looked after all day/night long. I have a nice size yard along with a lake side property to walk around. Pups will also have their own personal space within the house for some peace and quiet.

About: Hi my name is Cory! I love dogs and they seem to know it right away. I have been around dogs since I was 4 years old. I have owned 2 akitas and an English bulldog . My latest Akita Diablo passed away 5 years ago and I haven't gotten another dog since his passing so currently I have no dogs. I only have chinchillas and a hamster as of now. I have a lot of experience working with dogs and they seem to feel relaxed and comfortable when in my care, making this the perfect job for me. I know how to approach these animals in a way that is non-threatening to reduce their anxiety and to help them relax. I can help to maintain the routine they are used to, so they will not get anxious or feel so alone while their owners are away. I have extensive knowledge concerning the different breeds of dogs and I know how to take care of them properly. I understand that some breeds have special needs and that the age of the dog will play a major role in how to take care of them. You can depend on me to provide excellent service and to take great care of your dog/dogs. I know what questions to ask to make sure I understand their specific needs. About: I have been around cats and dogs my whole life. I walk my dogs daily, feed them, administer pill medications, and of course love to cuddle them. I have taken care of my neighbors two dogs every weekend of summer for the last 4 years. I love meeting new dogs, gaining their trust, and taking care of them. I put a lot of time into taking care of my dogs, I look forward to putting the same care and effort into your pups while you are away! During the summer, I work retail part-time so I have plenty of time to stop by and care for your pets during the day. I have part time availability Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday I am free all day. I have a fenced in yard where I play with them and they go potty. I live on a road with a large hill and many curves, so when walking them on the road I am very aware and I follow all safety recommendations. I also often bring my dogs to the dog park in Milton, I would be happy to do that with your dog if you do not have a fenced in yard.

About: I love animals ! We have three rescues at home, and this gives me an opportunity to love other animals too! I have been a certified volunteer dog walker at a local shelter. Our dogs are a member of our family , and I know yours are as well. I understand how hard it is to leave our furry children, that's why I try to care for your dog as you would. I am in good physical health for walks and playtime. I am a resident of the Hudson Valley for over 30 years and raised a family here. I am mature, dependable and honest. I would love the opportunity to care for your precious pet if you chose me. I volunteer 2 days a week for 3 hours a day at a local shelter, but am available the rest of the time for your pet. My three dogs have a fenced in yard. With your pet, I will walk or take out in your yard, lots of cuddling too, whatever your pet is used to. Cats will have clean litter box, and cuddling.

My friends and family have always come to me for help and advice regarding their fur babies. I’ve taken care of my own and others loves for over 34 years. I’m looking forward to helping you and your family! With what I do for a living I have lots of down time where I am able to care my time with the fur babies . I will follow exactly how you want your fur babies to be taken care of in your home. Over the years I have learned that it is stressful to move your pet when you vacation or have to go for work. The babies seem to do much better in their normal environment . I will also provide the extra love, kisses and belly rubs . I do need to mention that I will watch your home and take care of the fur babies needs but I do not sleep at my clients homes.
