The thing I like best ( and my dogs like too) is this is not a kennel- it’s a home that they become part of the family. About: I’ve been raised all my life with animals, and I’ve loved everyone of them , I have been trusted in watching friends, families pets for about 7 years now , I’m not a professional in training animals but I do my best, but just know you’re fur babies are in good hands and I’ll give them so much love and belly rubs or pets I’m currently working full-time in the mornings , but on my days off and afternoons I’m always with my dog fluffy , she’s a shih-poo but she is always with me 24/7 follows me around like a shadow but I adore her , on my work days my family watches her Whenever I’m entrusted with friends or family’s animals, I make sure all my gates are closed and I’m always watching their pets carefully because they are putting their trust in me and I want to show them I’m great at doing so , I love cuddling up with them and playing ball and giving them so much love that next time they see me they get so happy

About: I've taken care of animals for what feels like my entire life. I have raised two gorgeous dachshunds and have two crazy hot dogs currently. Love both cats and dogs, and I enjoy taking the dogs for walks. I have taken care of both puppies and seniors, and both need lots of care. I take care of my friends pets when they are away, and groom my own dogs. I work full-time and am generally able to do walks or visits anytime on the weekends. I cannot block out specific times on this site, and leave things mostly as available, HOWEVER, I am free after 4pm on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. Wednesday thru Friday I am only free before 10:30am or after 7:30pm. So please keep that in mind when requesting services. Friends have either lent me keys or smart access to go in and care for their pets and plants. I will usually go in, play, walk and feed (or just walk and play depending on needs). I have taken care of their pets overnight while they're away and have stayed at their homes for extended vacations, if need be. My pets are friendly, playful and curious. They do well with both senior and puppies. All three of my pets are crate trained. The puppy is currently in the process of crate training now. I do not like to leave pets unattended for too long. Dogs that have not been socialized, are not cat friendly, or are aggressive may be problematic to board, as I do have pets in the home. I will work doggy dayplay and stays around any dog walks that are prearranged. Occasionally, I can do last minute appointments, but typically like to schedule out the week ahead. I take care of my two dogs daily, so adding another to the mix is typically no problem. I treat all pets like they are my own. I love animals and I will try to work with them as much as possible while ensuring everyone’s safety. I follow the owners requests when going into client homes and will ensure any requests or dietary concerns are addressed if they are dropped off.

She does it because she loves it and my dog loved her right from the first meet and greet. She kept us updated everyday while we are on a vacation for a week. “Chaqutia looked after my pup, Ralph, for just over a week. I was nervous about leaving him for such a long period of time especially as he was unwell. Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. Her family are truly lovely and her eldest child played with Ralph lots (particularly loved those videos) Would definitely use Chaqutia again and recommend her to others!”

“Angel was just terrific with our dog, Sasha, who can be rather anxious. Sasha came down with a stomach thing two days before we were going away. I offered a couple of options to Angel because I was worried that Sasha would get up in the middle of the night and need to go out (and might not ask!). Angel wasn't phased and said no problem. In the end that didn't happen, but Angel was willing to get up if needed. Sasha seemed very happy. Since their backyard isn't fenced in, Angel put up a great enclosure so Sasha could play and hang out safely outside. We look forward to her next visit with Angel!”

About: I just got out of the Army after 8 years and had my best friend with me the whole way, a German Shepard named Mac. Sadly he passed about a year ago and I would love to have a new companion but I'm going back to school in the fall and need to focus on that. However, in the mean time I have the whole summer free to care for other's dogs. I live in a house with a large, fenced in yard and all the free time in the world. I'd love to have a dog to play with a d go on walks with. I currently have no obligations until January so I can devote 100% of my time and energy to your pup. Their care will be my full-time job. I have a large, fenced in yard and no other pets or children. I live on a large street perfect for walks and near the rail trail too.

“We had to board our 2-year-old cur Rocky, who was skittish around other dogs and had never been boarded. She allowed us to get him acclimated with doggie daycare sessions which made him more comfortable with her. He stayed with Tara 11 days and we got multiple videos and text messages and photos from Tara concerning Rocky. Each day he was a little more comfortable with the other dogs and began playing with them instead of just sniffing them and watching them play with other dogs. He got plenty of exercise and I think he might have even lost a pound or two by staying more active with Tara than with us. I couldn't have chosen a better person to watch Rocky during our vacation. I cannot recommend Tara enough when it comes to pet sitting!”
