Lifelong Dog Lover—Home Full-Time!
I have cared for dogs my entire life, including my own pets and those of family members. My experience ranges from energetic 8-week-old puppies to senior dogs, and from tiny teacup Yorkies to Labs, Newfoundlands, and Great Danes. I’m comfortable administering medication and adjusting care to each dog’s age, size, routine, and personality. Although I’m new to boarding through Rover, I work from home full-time, so your dog will receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship. Dogs are welcome to relax on the furniture, roam comfortably throughout the house, and enjoy supervised playtime in my fully fenced yard. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely at home while you’re away.

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so caring for your pet can easily fit into my daily routine. Dogs will have frequent opportunities for potty breaks, supervised time in the fenced yard, indoor play, rest, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Feeding, medication, walks, and bedtime routines can be adapted to match what your pet is accustomed to at home. Because I am home throughout the day, your pet will have consistent companionship and supervision rather than being left alone for long periods.

I want every pet staying with me to feel safe, comfortable, and part of the household. Dogs are welcome to roam throughout the home, relax on the furniture, and enjoy supervised playtime in my fully fenced yard. I follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medication, activity, sleeping arrangements, and household rules so that the pet’s routine remains as familiar as possible. I also adjust care to each dog’s age, energy level, size, and personality—whether that means active play for a puppy, companionship for an adult dog, or a quieter and more supportive routine for a senior.

A typical day
A typical day begins with a morning potty break and time to explore my large, fully fenced yard, followed by breakfast according to your pet’s usual schedule. Since I work from home, pets can relax nearby and enjoy plenty of companionship throughout the day. I use my work breaks for supervised outdoor play, short walks when appropriate, cuddles, and mental enrichment such as puzzle toys, treat searches, or practicing familiar commands. I tailor activities to each dog’s age, energy level, and preferences, with plenty of downtime for naps between activities. Evenings include another opportunity for exercise, dinner, relaxed family time, and a final potty break before settling in for the night.

- Before your pet’s stay, I’d love to learn about their usual routine, personality, energy level, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, and any medical needs. Please let me know how they respond to children, other animals, unfamiliar people, and being left alone briefly. I would also appreciate honest information about house-training, separation anxiety, guarding behaviors, reactivity, escape attempts, chewing, or any triggers that may affect their comfort and safety. The more I know ahead of time—including favorite activities, sleeping preferences, and calming strategies—the better I can help your pet feel secure and at home.
