“Where do I begin? Mary exceeded all of our expectations. She is extremely sweet, professional, courteous, genuine and responsible. We received txts with updates and photos at every visit to our fur baby. She without a doubt goes above and beyond. Typically, our Shelby takes a day or two to readjust upon our returning with the exception of this time. It was like we had never left! Shelby was so happy and relaxed. We can’t recommend Mary enough and she is definitely our go to from here on out!”

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments, belonging to family, friends, neighbors, or brand-new clients. My care is full of love, snuggles, and focused attention. I’m detail-oriented and follow owner instructions carefully, ensuring your pet stays safe, healthy, and happy. I have experience with everything from energetic puppies and kittens to gentle senior dogs and cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications or handling special diets. For me, spending time with animals is more than a job—it’s a joy and a privilege I look forward to whenever I have the opportunity. I look forward to meeting your pet! Since my full time job is remote and computer-based, I am able to accommodate in-home care for 1-2 weeks at a time. I care for pets by giving them loving attention and following owner instructions carefully. I make sure I understand all that is needed at the beginning of a job, and if questions arise, I never hesitate to contact the pet owner. I enjoy playing with pets and taking dogs out for walks, or even hikes if they and the owner are open to that. I'm basically ready to be their new favorite playmate :)

About: I’ve been taking care of different kinds of animals over the last few years. I’ve always loved meeting and getting to know other animals in my neighborhood!! I’m always free in the afternoons! I work mornings at a doggy daycare and I’m usually available by 1:30. Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance for any services. I typically use a flat leash leash, but I always make sure that the animal have as much space as they need to do what they need to do. I always try to provide some type of treat or enrichment on walks.
“Daniela was very sweet to my pets. She was punctual, spent time with them and communicated well. Normally after a day or two away my dog is very depressed but when I got home he very upbeat and happy. I would definitely rebook.”

“Jacquelin is very personable and reliable. She has the patience of a saint, and went above and beyond to make sure the first "staycation" for my 2 nervous dogs was a success.”

“Veronica was wonderful with our two cats. I would recommend her to anyone and would use her services again anytime. It was the first time I used a sitter, and it worked out perfectly”

About: Through my life, I have been a pet parent for several dogs of different ages. Family, friends, and clients have trusted me with their pets since a young age. Dogs from all ages are welcome including those with dietary and medical needs. I’ve made the decision to leave the banking industry after several years to pursue happiness and focus on my passions. Having a flexible schedule allows me to give your pet the care it needs from potty breaks to overnight stays. I love going for walks and hikes and would love for your pet to attend. As a house sitter, I provide specialized care for each pet, ensuring their happiness and safety at all times. My experience includes administering medication as well, if needed.
About: I’ve walked and trained my own lab mix (10) as well as worked as a dog walker and sitter for independent clients. I’m great with energetic dogs of all sizes. I work a minimum wage job full time during the week, but am looking to supplement or replace it with dog walking on weekends and evenings. At my clients home I will sit out with the dog and crate it easily if needed. I am able to take the dog out every few hours and love taking them on long walks if desired.
“Stephanie was fantastic! Kept in constant communication with pictures. Was punctual for all visits. Gave my senior dogs all his medications. Stephanie took very good care of my 2 dogs. Would highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m a stay at home mom who absolutely loves animals and being home makes me the perfect person to give your pup lots of attention throughout the day 🤍 I’ve been caring for pets for over 10 years and grew up with my Yorkie, Asia, who lived to 13. Being a dog mom taught me how important it is to know your fur baby is in safe, loving hands. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with both puppies and senior dogs, including giving oral medication if needed. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles, I make sure every pup feels comfortable and cared for. My home is cozy with a backyard for safe play, and I have a sweet cat named Woody. I treat every pet like family and always try to stick to their routine so they feel right at home. I’d love to set up a meet & greet beforehand so you can feel confident your pup is happy, safe, and loved 💓 I’m a full time stay at home mom to two precious little girls! and with that your pup will always have company! I balance caring for my little one with walks, playtime, and snuggles for your dog, making sure every pet gets attention and love throughout the day. My kids also have a love for animals as well and are taught how to interact with different animals! My home is cozy and safe, with a dedicated area for your pup to relax and feel at home where I'll have anything your pup needs (You're welcome to provide anything that makes them comfortable as well). I also have a backyard where they can run, play, and get their zoomies out safely. Your fur baby will have a space that’s loving, fun, and stress-free.
About: Hi, I’m Breyalyn! Professional belly-rub giver, treat dispenser (with permission, of course), and full-time dog lover. As a proud dog mom to my spoiled girl Suzie, I know that dogs aren’t “just pets” - they’re family. Whether your pup is a zoomie champion, a professional squirrel investigator, or a couch potato who believes naps are a competitive sport, I’m happy to match their vibe. We’ll go on exciting walks, play their favorite games, and make sure they get all the love and attention they deserve. When your dog is with me, you can expect: 🐾 Tail-wagging walks and adventures 🎾 Playtime until someone needs a nap (probably me) 💛 Endless love, cuddles, and attention 📸 Plenty of photo updates because I know you’re going to miss them 🏡 Care that’s personalized to your dog’s routine and personality My goal is simple: make your dog feel like they’re on their own little vacation while giving you total peace of mind. So if your pup is looking for a new human friend who will love them almost as much as you do, I’d love to meet you both. Just don’t be surprised if they drag you back to my door next time—they tend to make themselves at home! 😊😂 I work from home, so I am home ALL day. I love to exercise and we have a fenced in yard for all of the playtime needed (a larger yard for a leashed walk). I’m always open to going for additional longer walks elsewhere Your pet’s safety is always going to be my priority. They will have a separate apartment area of the house (that I spend all of my time in). They will also have a fenced in yard. Food and water (treats if allowed) will be provided all day. My doggie will be kept separate unless otherwise agreed upon!
About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I have watched all kind of pets for friends, family, and clients. Even a few lizards and hamsters! All ages are welcome from seniors (medicine included) to littles. I work full time and my husband (my pet loving partner) is home in the AM hours. We are a team of pet care. I am available to do walks in the mornings and evenings. If you pet needs a mid-day check in, my husband would LOVE to spoil your pet with attention. My home is pet friendly. We don't have a gated yard, but we love to walk and are active hikers too. In your home, I am respectful of your house and will follow any instructions you have.
About: I have a seven year old german shepherd, Mila, who is so friendly and loves all dogs and people. I go to the park, or drive down to rail trail at least once a day, besides multiple daily walks. Our neighborhood is very safe and dog-friendly. We have many pups dropping by that there are plenty of toys and treats for them to enjoy throughout their stay. My roommate and I are dog lovers and really enjoy spending time with your sweet pups. Not only will their stay be enjoyable for your pet, but also for you. I stay in contact with you throughout the stay with updates, pictures, and any other kind of communication that you require. I've used rover myself, and know what us dog parents need to ease our worries just a bit. All in all, this is a very loving home and we would love to care for your doggos. I do work full time, but I work a hybrid schedule of in the office and remote which leaves enough flexibility to works around the schedule needed for you pup. I have a sweet 5 year old German shepherd to keep your pup company. If you’re more comfortable with your dog being fed separately, we can absolutely make accommodations for your pup to have the best time.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Beacon
Trinity was very reliable and professional, but more importantly I could tell from the minute she met my senior special-needs dog Porter that she really loved animals and would take great care of him! Porter loved her and especially that she was willing to play with him (he loves showing off his stuffed animals). She clearly got Porter right away! She did drop-in visits and walks, administered his medications and fed him. I would highly recommend Trinity!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
