About: I grew up around animals, from birds and hermit crabs to cats and dogs, my household has always been filled with pets. I have also fostered medically fragile dogs and volunteered at the Westchester Humane Society. I am passionate about ensuring all animals receive the best possible care and I will give your pet the same love I give my own. I currently work part time and I’m a full time grad student, but I have my own transportation so my schedule is open and flexible. I will schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet to learn all about their unique quirks, likes, dislikes, and routines prior to beginning services with them. I ensure a safe environment by using non-retractable leashes on walks and will send you updates while I am with your pet. Your pet's safety is my top priority.

I recently moved to the area, have two dogs with complex needs & have felt so comfortable leaving them in Stephanie's care. She's been helpful with medication administration, and has provided individually tailored support to both my elderly dog, and younger pup with behavioral difficulties. The dogs have a history of scuffles, and Stephanie has been able to follow along with the complex safety plan that I have in place. I've had a previous sitter reject my rescue pup because the dog was too traumatized and anxious. Not Stephanie! She was really confident with my anxious dog and was patient, participating in multiple visits just to get to know her prior to taking on dog walking while I wasn't home. About: I’ve cared for animals since I was a child. I’ll run with, walk, feed, play with, or care for your pet. I’m a mom to my son, one dog, four cats, and a hedgehog. I’m responsible and really love animals. I don’t have a long professional pet-sitting history, but I’ve cared for animals for decades. I’m a very active, busy person, but I have plenty of time for pet care. I can do early mornings Sunday-Thursday, evenings Monday-Thursday, and pretty much any time on Friday or Saturday. I can care for your pets in your home, but have to go home to my own at night. Mostly, I’m available to visit your pet in your home or take them out for walks or exercise.
