“Alexis was fantastic. Our sweet pup is 13 years old and can get really anxious when she's boarded, but she did great with Alexis! Our travel plans kept changing at the last minute and Alexis was so flexible and understanding when we were running late to drop her off. Can not recommend her highly enough!”

“Natacha was a God-sent. She watched out 7 month old Husky, Samon for 3 days. Natacha had a gorgeous Husky herself. She sent up pic and updates daily. We felt confident that Samson would be safe in Natacha's care, and he was. We will be using her again in the future to care for Samson. Could not have asked for a better sitter!”

“We were very pleased with Jadyn and her care for our 100 pound Cane Corso. This was the first time we had used Rover for these services and were were nervous, but Jadyn was very calm and reassuring. She kept us up to date on his care with pictures and messages. She did an outstanding job!”

“You can tell how much Natasha and Hamir really care about dogs and they took such good care of our 6-month poodle puppy Jujuba during our 10-day trip. We were very worried as it was our first time away from our puppy but they did an amazing job treating him as if he was theirs and putting all our worries at ease. Natasha sent us updates everyday with pictures and prioritized Jujuba’s safety. The dog area is separated from the kitchen by gates, so you don’t need to worry about puppy swallowing something that’s not good for them. Natasha and Hamir not only took him on regular walks, but also kept him away from heat when it was too hot outside. Our puppy gets some eye allergy and Natasha cleaned his eyes as I asked. We could see how comfortable and happy Jujuba got with them when we picked him up. We will definitely use them again in future! 🥰🥰”

“Patricia was great and Prince loved his stay with her. She kept me updated throughout his stay and even accommodated to my situation. I would definitely recommend her and will be using her again.”

About: If your dog loves people, attention, walks, adventures, and being part of the family, they will probably feel right at home with me! I provide very personalized care and only board one guest dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family. There are no children or other pets in my home, so your dog gets plenty of individual attention in a calm home environment. Your dog isn't just staying at my house, they become part of my everyday life while they're with me. At home, dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable. They can sleep in my bed, curl up on the couch, or choose a therapeutic dog bed if they prefer their own quiet space. For food motivated dogs, I have five different dog puzzles and enjoy playing "find the treats" and other enrichment games. We also have a fenced yard for supervised play and relaxing outside. Most days include 3–4 walks, ranging from a quick 10-minute potty walk to a 30–45 minute adventure. Depending on what your dog enjoys, we may explore Peekskill's riverfront parks, walk around the neighborhood, or head to nearby wooded trails. For dogs who love water, swimming adventures may also be an option. Because I like having my guest dogs with me, they are rarely left home alone. Dogs staying with me should be comfortable riding in the car and enjoy being around people. They may join me for a visit to the horse farm where I board my horse or relax with me while I visit friends. Dogs who are happiest staying with me tend to be friendly, well-mannered, and enjoy attention, car rides, walks, and being included in everyday activities. Since my husband works from home, a dog with minimal barking is the best fit for our home. My apartment is on the second floor, so dogs must be comfortable using stairs independently or be small enough for me to safely carry if needed. A Little About Me I have over 14 years of hands-on experience with dogs. I have professional experience working in a commercial dog daycare, supervising groups of up to 30 small and medium-sized dogs as well as puppy groups. For more than five years, I also organized dog hikes throughout Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. My experience is strongest with Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, Cavaliers, and similar friendly companion breeds. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, oral medications, and recognizing canine body language and signs of stress. My own Golden Retriever, Kobi, was my best friend and adventure partner for over 12 years. We hiked, kayaked, visited beaches, traveled from Maine to Florida, and shared countless everyday adventures. The way I cared for Kobi is the inspiration behind the care I provide now—I want dogs staying with me to feel included, comfortable, and loved. I am also certified in Reiki and Emotion Code energy work and bring a calm, patient approach to the dogs in my care. Prefer Care in Your Own Home? Some dogs are happiest staying in their familiar environment, and I also offer overnight house sitting. With standard house sitting, your dog should be comfortable being alone for approximately 6½ hours while I work my part-time morning shift at a dog daycare in Putnam Valley (8:00 AM–1:30 PM, 4 days a week, plus travel time). If your dog needs someone present most of the day and cannot comfortably be left for more than about two hours, I may still be able to accommodate them with extended-care house sitting at $185 per night. I require a meet-and-greet before accepting a new boarding or house-sitting client so we can make sure your dog and I are a great match. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work part-time at a dog daycare and also work from home as a self-employed bookkeeper and real estate agent. My schedule is flexible, and I can choose which days I work at the daycare, allowing me to plan around the dogs in my care. My husband also works from home, so boarding dogs are rarely left home alone. This flexibility allows me to provide plenty of companionship, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and individual attention throughout their stay. I provide a safe, calm, and personalized environment with plenty of individual attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and I live just a 5-minute walk from wooded trails for walks and adventures. Dogs have access to a comfortable sofa, toys, and puzzle games for enrichment and mental stimulation. I live in a second-floor apartment, so dogs should be comfortable using stairs.
“Maria (and family) were lifesavers and saved our trip by having availability last minute when another sitter canceled on us. Our dogs looked so happy and loved while we were gone. Definetly recommend and look forward to using her again!”

“Annie was great with my pup, Athena. She was available on short notice and talked me through her process. Athena came home happy, tired and satisfied. I would not hesitate to book again. Thank you!!”

“My dog didn’t want to come home after staying with Crystal and has pouted since I brought him home. He clearly had a blast. I read the positive reviews when booking, and I’m glad I listened to everyone. Highlights- great communication, loved my dog as her own, gave me complete peace of mind while I traveled. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to trust to watch my best friend.”

“Pico had a great stay with Hayden! Communication was so easy, Hayden sent tons of photos, and was very flexible with our pick-up times. Pico was allowed to make himself right at home and we were happy to see him so relaxed and comfortable. We will definitely book with Hayden in the future!”

“Michael watched my dog, Tofu, for a week while we were away, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was super responsive from start to finish, sent tons of photos and updates, and made me feel completely at ease — which is no small feat, because leaving my dog with anyone is usually tough for me. Tofu went on plenty of walks, got lots of attention, and clearly had an amazing time. When I came home, he was happy, relaxed, and totally himself — the biggest sign that he was in great hands. I will 100% be booking with him again, and I recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and all-around fantastic dog sitter.”

“Cannot recommend Barbara enough for both overnight and doggy day care services!! great outdoor space at her home and located right near a phenomenal park where the dogs get to go on extra long walk with her. our dog always comes back happy, and tired from all the playing with her dog, Lou. Lincoln runs straight to her door when we got there for drop off and Barbara is super responsive + sends great pictures / videos the whole time we are away.”

“Hi Julia, thank you so much for taking care of Chippie. I appreciate your updates and the love you’ve shown to her. Everything looks great, and Chippie seems so happy when she sees you. Looking forward to booking with you again!”

“Boarding Charlie at David's place went great. David was communicative throughout, and he was undaunted by Charlie's complicated medicine schedule. He even figured out a new way to get Charlie to take his pills. He also supervised his little kids around Charlie to be sure Charlie didn't get overwhelmed. I'd definitely use him again.”

“Megen took great care of our dog Lotta. She has a fenced in backyard which was great so our dog was outside a lot and played with the other dogs there. Easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!”

“Stephanie has watched our dog Murphy on multiple occasions. He really loves her, and I can see how happy he is when he stays with her. He barely says goodbye to us when we drop him off! Thank you, Stephanie!”

“Arsenii takes great care of Bubba like always! We can rest assured that Bubba would have a great time when we are in vacation if he’s with Arsenii. He’s simply Bubba’s favorite :)”

“Theresa and Michael are wonderful cat sitters, true pet lovers who took care of Mr Soots for me in every way possible. From cuddles and love to pictures of Soots playing and being his cheeky self, I could see that my cat felt so at home and comfortable with Theresa and Michael right from day one. I would recommend their cat sitting services to anyone. Fantastic people and wonderful hosts for pets.”

Alexis was wonderful! This was my first time having Cooper boarded at someone’s house and she made him so welcomed and like one of her family. She sent photos and videos of him daily, he seemed to be having a great time each day. 100% will be using Alexis again and would recommend!
