Hi! I’m a passionate dog lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience fostering and caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. If it were up to me, every dog looking for a loving home would have a place in mine. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of looking after countless dogs, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their families are away. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, and I take the time to earn their trust, learn their routines, and make them feel right at home. I’m experienced with basic training and positive reinforcement using treats, helping dogs build good habits while making learning fun. Whether it’s reinforcing routines, group feeding, administering lots of love and attention, or simply making sure they feel comfortable, I always put each dog’s needs first. I’m very active, so your pup can expect plenty of walks, playtime, trips to the park, backyard fun (including supervised pool time if appropriate), and, of course, lots of cuddles and affection at the end of the day. I treat every pet like they’re my own because I truly believe they’re family. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is safe, loved, and receiving the same care and attention they would at home. Alexis was wonderful! This was my first time having Cooper boarded at someone’s house and she made him so welcomed and like one of her family. She sent photos and videos of him daily, he seemed to be having a great time each day. 100% will be using Alexis again and would recommend!

Reliable and excellent communication. Sent pictures and made me feel comfortable that my fut babies were well taken care of.
I was disappointed with the services received. My dogs profile explicitly states that he cannot be around other dogs because he becomes aggressive. I also communicated this to Alexis during our meet and greet. I communicated that he cannot be “grabbed” due to past trauma, and treats need to be used to redirect. Unfortunately, these instructions were not followed and Alexis was bitten. I appreciated that she let me know of the situation. I would have appreciated more updates and better photos. The first photo I received was him in the woods going to the bathroom and another was a photo of his back. In every photo his prong collar was on, leading me to believe it never came off. It was stressful wondering if I’d need to come home over vacation to pick him up and if everything was going to be okay. In the end, everyone seems okay and Chuck is home safely.

Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Since I have years of experience fostering and caring for dogs, my days already revolve around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, exercise, training, and giving each dog the love and attention they deserve. I enjoy staying active, so daily walks and trips to the park are something I genuinely look forward to. I also make time for cuddles, enrichment activities, and keeping pets on their normal routines so they feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. Caring for pets isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I truly enjoy every day of the week.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and energy level so they get the care that’s best for them. I also keep pet parents updated with regular photos and messages, so they can relax knowing their furry family member is happy and well cared for while they’re away.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to plan activities based on their personality, age, and energy level. We can enjoy long walks, trips to the park, fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, treat-based training, and plenty of playtime in the backyard. For dogs who love water, supervised pool time is always a fun option. If your pet prefers a slower pace, I’m just as happy to spend time cuddling, giving belly rubs, or relaxing together. My goal is to keep every pet happy, active, mentally stimulated, and feeling loved while they’re in my care.
