About: I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life. Cats are my favorite and I’ve had them since I was a child. In the past I have been mostly cat sitting. More recently, I have been dog walking and sitting for friend’s dogs while they are away on vacation or at work. I enjoy it as a therapeutic way of bonding with the animals as a form of self-care and mutual support and pet care co-regulation. Unfortunately, I cannot have dogs at my residence as per my lease agreement and being able to sit and walk with dogs is a way of being able to enjoy access to them without being able to own them myself. I’m looking to expand my reach and explore more breeds at this time. Specifically, I have experience with Labradors and Boxers. I’m currently working part-time and have ample time to schedule walking and feedings, and am able to stay for extended periods of time with your pets. I have two cats whom I adore and dote on at my home and I am very attentive to their needs and make sure they have an enriched environment with toys and play time, as well as grooming care.

About: Although new to Rover, I have been taking care of dogs for my entire life and have years of experience in professional pet care! As a college athlete I live an active lifestyle and understand the importance of a schedule. That being said I am a great match for high-energy pups who need a lot of playtime and long walks. I also aim to maintain the routine you find best for your pup to provide the least amount of changes to your dogs schedule, and therefore the least amount of stress for them in your absence. I also pride myself in my attentiveness, understanding, and tendency to go above and beyond. You can expect updates with pictures, flexibility with schedule changes or last minute bookings, and patience with your dog in my care. With a high-energy Pitbull and a couch-potato senior dog, I can readily adapt to the needs of your pup! I unfortunately cannot board your furry friends in my home at this time for the safety of my own dogs and the respect of my family! Regarding house sitting services, I am happy to provide overnight care in your home and maintain your pets normal routine as well as any basic house upkeep upon request (mail, trash, etc). I may leave throughout the day to maintain my personal schedule for work, school, or prior plans, however I treat your pet like my own and ensure they are receiving all the attention, potty breaks, playtime, and meals as they would in your care. I would love to take your pup on trails or to my personal fenced backyard for some exercise and to make them more comfortable! Regarding drop-ins and dog walking, I am extremely flexible and can often accept last minute bookings. I am working full time over the summer and will accommodate as best I can to your desired schedule. Early mornings and evenings are available for me on weekdays, weekends can vary but are usually free! My Pitbull loves to play outside and go on long walks. We are lucky to have a large, fenced backyard to enjoy on a daily basis. My senior dog loves slow walks and snuggles, which I ensure he gets plenty of.

About: Animals are basically part of my DNA. I’ve been walking dogs and pet sitting since I was a child, and I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and other animals. I’ve also been riding and caring for horses my entire life, which means I’m very comfortable with responsibility, routines, and understanding animal behavior. I work from home, so pets are never left alone and are part of my daily routine. My home sits on 3 acres of private property surrounded by a state park, which means lots of space for play and long walks or hikes. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I stick closely to each pet’s usual routine—including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest—so they feel comfortable and secure. About: I’ve taken care of my childhood dog from puppy to senior. I enjoyed training and grooming my puppy and making my senior dog a power bowl. I am a very active person - a hiker, marathoner, boxer, and cyclist, I can exhaust your furry babies however they want! And I particularly have a good sense of reading animal behavior, meaning if your dog needs a therapist, I am a very good listener;) I currently work flexible hours, so I have plenty of time to give your furry babies attention any time of the day. Boarding, walking and house sitting are all welcome weekdays or weekends. Boarding: I am in a 2bd condo with balcony without any pet in a quiet neighborhood. I am walking distance to a lot of trails (paved and non-paved) that your dog can take advantage of. Sitting: tell me your pet’s routine, I will be accountable!

About: I worked in the animal industry for the last six years and have been a certified Dog Trainer for the last five. I have experience with senior dogs; Medication and specific dietary needs. I have two for babies at my own. Being a pet owner and working in the animal industry, I understand how nerve-racking it is to trust somebody with your pets care. I’m looking to create peace of mind. Monday through Friday early morning and late evening. Saturday 9AM to 12PM I’m absolutely willing to create more of a flexible schedule upon request with ample notice. Currently in an apartment with a medium to large dog and a cat. Not currently offering boarding in Connecticut. The house in New York has a 6 foot fence with large amount of yard space.

My experience has ranged from dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, farm animals, exotic animals and much more. When it comes to animals that are large breeds, disabled and/or have temperament issues I have a ton of experience. Please reach out to me via message prior to booking in regards to availability. This is to ensure that I will be able to accommodate exactly what your needs are. As my schedule fluctuates day to day. Also, to make sure you fall within the 3 territories I cover. I don’t want there to be any miscommunication. Consistency is key, and I find it best not to alter their daily and nightly routines. I want them to feel comfortable and relaxed while you are away. If I stay in your home, I treat your home as if it was my own. Just like your pet, I provide the same level of care for your home without judgment. You come home to it being clean, neat and tidy. I wash the sheets, take out the garbage and recycling, sweep/vacuum and wipe down all surfaces that I used. I also bring in packages, water indoor plants, move garbage and recycling bins to the road and small and/or minor request are usually accepted. In the spring and summer months, I will water outdoor plants, but inquire about additional cost.
