“Alexis was great with our pups. We got daily updates, and all of our requests were handled. We have a fear reactive pup and Alexis was even willing to come and meet our pooches several times before our actual trip to allow our pups to get comfortable (and vice versa). Alexis is chill and easy going and the doggos vibed well with that. We found Alexis to be very reliable, patient, responsible, kind, and essentially everything we could ask for in a sitter. We definitely recommend Alexis.”

“Jack was terrific with Imo; kept us updated and sent pics for the three days we were away. We returned home to a calm dog, excited to see us. Will definitely call on Jack again.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life. Cats are my favorite and I’ve had them since I was a child. In the past I have been mostly cat sitting. More recently, I have been dog walking and sitting for friend’s dogs while they are away on vacation or at work. I enjoy it as a therapeutic way of bonding with the animals as a form of self-care and mutual support and pet care co-regulation. Unfortunately, I cannot have dogs at my residence as per my lease agreement and being able to sit and walk with dogs is a way of being able to enjoy access to them without being able to own them myself. I’m looking to expand my reach and explore more breeds at this time. Specifically, I have experience with Labradors and Boxers. I’m currently working part-time and have ample time to schedule walking and feedings, and am able to stay for extended periods of time with your pets. I have two cats whom I adore and dote on at my home and I am very attentive to their needs and make sure they have an enriched environment with toys and play time, as well as grooming care.
“Sammantha is our go-to care taker for our rat terrier Indy. She is very responsive and treats Indy like one of her own. Indy loves when Sammantha comes to visit. Highly recommended!”

“Preston watched my 2.5 year old sheepadoodle Archie for just under 2 weeks while I was traveling. I highly recommend Preston to anyone who needs a house sitter. He was great with Archie and provided me updates as needed and was easy to get a hold of. He even began training Archie on some different skills. He even left my house cleaner than when I left it. Preston was a great choice for house sitting and I will definitely try to use him again if I ever need someone to watch my pup and house!”

“Erica is a fantastic stand in dog mom! She just takes so much care in doing the best she can to keep things "normal" for your pups while youre gone, which is especially important for my younger two who are still pressing the boundaries :D. And you get a ton of pics too! Definitely would recommend 150%!”

“She was fantastic! We have 2 cats and 2 dogs. She pet sat at our house when I needed to fly to Florida last minute for a family emergency. Colleen, sent us updates with pictures. Gave me such a peace of mind while gone to know my fur babies were in good hands!”

About: Animals are basically part of my DNA. I’ve been walking dogs and pet sitting since I was a child, and I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and other animals. I’ve also been riding and caring for horses my entire life, which means I’m very comfortable with responsibility, routines, and understanding animal behavior. I have hands-on experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic dogs who love long walks and playtime to seniors who need a calmer pace and extra TLC. I’m great at reading animal cues, keeping routines consistent, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I truly treat every pet as if they were my own. I work from home, so pets are never left alone and are part of my daily routine. My home sits on 3 acres of private property surrounded by a state park, which means lots of space for play and long walks or hikes. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I care for pets by treating them like part of the family, whether they’re in my home or theirs. I stick closely to each pet’s usual routine—including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest—so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure dogs get plenty of supervised exercise, enrichment, and attention throughout the day. I’m attentive to individual needs, whether that means extra activity for high-energy dogs, gentle care for seniors, or patience and consistency with puppies. I also keep pet parents updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Abbey was the best! She stayed at our house with our cat. She was very communicative and sent daily photos, which we really appreciated. Super professional and we look forward to having her back again!”

About: Hi I’m Jack! I’m a lifelong animal lover, Coast Guard veteran, and proud dog dad to an English Cream Golden Retriever named Charleigh. I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I offer patient, loving care for pets of all ages—whether it’s energetic walks, belly rubs, or quiet cuddle time. With me, your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and safe. I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to accommodate special routines or needs. I work full time but will be attending college. I am available on the weekends and my availability will open up more soon. Looking forward to meet you and your pets. I will make sure your animals are properly cared for the way you want them to be. I know how stressful it is for you to leave a member of your family with a stranger but I can ensure you they are in the best hands.
About: I ONLY service, Highland Falls, Fort Montgomery and West Point, NY. I do NOT service outside of these 3 territories. I will NOT take bookings outside of these three areas. I do this full time and my schedule doesn’t allow me to accommodate outside of my territory. With 23 years local experience, I am very dedicated, passionate and committed to my profession. I am a full-time Dog Walker and Animal Caretaker. I have operated my business solely word of mouth up to this point. I take bookings all hours and days of the week. Over the years, I have cultivated clients that truly have become family to me. Your animal gets cared for and treated with the same love, care and attention that you yourself would provide for them. My experience has ranged from dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, farm animals, exotic animals and much more. When it comes to animals that are large breeds, disabled and/or have temperament issues I have a ton of experience. Please reach out to me via message prior to booking in regards to availability. This is to ensure that I will be able to accommodate exactly what your needs are. As my schedule fluctuates day to day. Also, to make sure you fall within the 3 territories I cover. I don’t want there to be any miscommunication. Consistency is key, and I find it best not to alter their daily and nightly routines. I want them to feel comfortable and relaxed while you are away. If I stay in your home, I treat your home as if it was my own. Just like your pet, I provide the same level of care for your home without judgment. You come home to it being clean, neat and tidy. I wash the sheets, take out the garbage and recycling, sweep/vacuum and wipe down all surfaces that I used. I also bring in packages, water indoor plants, move garbage and recycling bins to the road and small and/or minor request are usually accepted. In the spring and summer months, I will water outdoor plants, but inquire about additional cost.
“Thu was amazing. I had another sitter booked who canceled on me on Thanksgiving morning! Thu saved the day! She spent lots of time loving my babies and sent me pictures. I would highly recommend her.”

“Emily was super excited to stay with my pups even with their quirks and was able to book within a week of my vacation and meet them when I had a last minute cancelation with someone else! She was very responsive both before and during my trip and kept me updated about my dogs with pictures which was super appreciated! She was also able to give medication to one of them as needed and follow the food directions as well as made time to sit with one of them who will only eat with company. I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!”

About: Over 15 years experience running my own pet care company. Trust in my services, and give your pets the best care possible. Loving and reliable. I have plenty of references and a resume I can email to you if wanted. I mostly work from home doing freelance copywriting, so have plenty of free time to do house and pet sitting. I have a reliable car too. I no longer care for pets in my own home, as I moved into a no pets allowed apartment. But I will treat your pets and home with the utmost respect.
“No worries your dog is with a superstar! He was accommodating and loving towards our very senior Maltese and he also took time to reach out and update. Hes great with my lab too!!! He is fantastic! Highly would recommend and rebook. Very caring individual”

About: I’ve taken care of my childhood dog from puppy to senior. I enjoyed training and grooming my puppy and making my senior dog a power bowl. I am a very active person - a hiker, marathoner, boxer, and cyclist, I can exhaust your furry babies however they want! And I particularly have a good sense of reading animal behavior, meaning if your dog needs a therapist, I am a very good listener;) I currently work flexible hours, so I have plenty of time to give your furry babies attention any time of the day. Boarding, walking and house sitting are all welcome weekdays or weekends. Boarding: I am in a 2bd condo with balcony without any pet in a quiet neighborhood. I am walking distance to a lot of trails (paved and non-paved) that your dog can take advantage of. Sitting: tell me your pet’s routine, I will be accountable!
