She sent daily communication on all our pets with pictures. Our dog Max can be challenging and Jordan won him over quickly! She loved them all like her own and you could really tell her love of animals and wanted to make sure she took care of them like we would. My husband both walked into the house and swear she left it tidier then we left.”

About: Hi, I’m Izzy! I’ve been lucky enough to spend over 17 years caring for all sorts of furry and scaly friends, from dogs and cats to reptiles! Growing up, my home was filled two happy pups, and I’ve proudly been the go-to pet sitter for my friends, family, and neighbors ever since. I currently live with a sweet 14-year-old chihuahua who keeps me company at home. While he previously lived happily with other dogs and attended doggy daycare, he’s become more anxious around unfamiliar pets as he’s gotten older. For his comfort, I’m unable to offer boarding in my home at this time, but I’m happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home through house-sitting, drop-in visits and walks. I have 6 years of experience in positive-reinforcement training with puppies & young dogs, improving leash manners & supporting dogs who struggle with reactivity, potty training/housebreaking, and basic commands. I have 4 years of experience providing special care for senior dogs, including administering oral and topical medications, accommodating specific diets, and adjusting care for pups with vision and/or hearing loss. When it comes to our feline friends, I’ve cared for kittens, adult cats, and seniors who are litter-box trained (plus a few little ones still figuring it out!). I also have experience administering oral and topical medications to cats & kittens, accommodating specific diets, and caring for cats with hearing loss. Please note that I do not have experience administering injectable medications to dogs or cats. I can’t wait to meet your pets and make sure they feel loved and well cared for while you’re away. For house-sitting, I can easily bring my workspace with me, so your pets can have company, attention, potty breaks, and walks throughout the workday rather than being left alone for long stretches. I occasionally have in-person meetings, typically no more than 1–2 times per week. When I do, I’m usually away for about 2–2.5 hours and am very rarely gone for more than 3 hours at a time. If my schedule ever requires a longer stretch away from home, I’ll know in advance and will always communicate that before booking to make sure it works for your pet’s needs and routine. I’m available for weekday and weekend care, including house-sitting, walks, and drop-in visits. While I previously offered boarding, I’m unfortunately unable to host pets in my own home at this time. I currently live with a senior chihuahua has become more anxious around unfamiliar animals as he’s gotten older, so I prioritize his comfort by keeping my current home pet-guest-free. Fortunately, my flexible work-from-home schedule means I’m more than happy to come to your pets instead! When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routines, boundaries, and any instructions around feeding, walks, medications, crating, and household rules to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I love keeping pets active and engaged through neighborhood walks, hikes, backyard play, or indoor enrichment. I’m a big believer that there’s no bad weather, just the wrong clothes for the weather, so I’m happy to get outside in all seasons! I’m attentive to leash safety, surroundings, other animals, and each pet’s comfort level, with experience caring for reactive dogs and seniors who may need extra space, a slower pace, or other accommodations. Above all, I want your pets to feel comfortable at home and you to feel confident they’re in good hands.

“Amanda was absolutely amazing, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. We hired her to stay in our home for three nights to care for our 14 year old senior dog and our 15 year old cat. My wife and I were a little apprehensive at first about having someone we did not know stay overnight in our home, especially with our senior dog, who needs frequent trips outside and is prone to accidents in the house. Amanda completely exceeded our expectations. She went above and beyond in every way, giving both of our pets the attention they needed and carefully following all of our care instructions. She told us she would treat our pets as if they were her own, and she truly did. Our senior dog needs frequent trips outside, some help walking, and is prone to accidents in the house. Amanda handled all of it with incredible patience, care, and professionalism. She made sure he had plenty of potty breaks by taking him out often, waking up early, and staying up late to care for him. When he had accidents, she took care of everything without hesitation, including thoroughly cleaning him up, washing his blankets and bedding, and making sure he was comfortable afterward. That level of care and compassion really meant a lot to us. She also kept our home incredibly clean. In fact, she even vacuumed the living room before we got home and left the house cleaner than we left it. On top of that, she sent us daily updates and texts about both our dog and cat, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Amanda is a true professional, caring, responsible, attentive, and dependable. She was a huge stress relief for us, and we felt so much better knowing our pets were in such capable hands. We will absolutely be using her again on a regular basis for as long as she is available.”
