About: I have experience with being around animals since I’ve been 5 years old. I have two dogs of my own and three cats as well. I will make sure the animals are comfortable, loved and taken care of properly. I am patient, caring, and have high energy. I am big on play time and walks and making sure they get their exercise for the day. I have walked dogs before and also provided in house care for several of my neighbors and close family friends. I really do enjoy being around animals and find it very relaxing. You can trust that when you are away for vacations, emergencies or just need day to day drop ins, your animals will be taken care of. So, don’t worry! On a daily basis I am always making sure my animals are fed, getting play time in, cuddles and more! They are so important to me! Making sure my pets always have water and their litter box is clean on a daily basis. I always ensure they get little extra treats throughout the day as well as cuddles!

About: I have decades of experience around cats and dogs - in the home and with extended family pets, and then started pet care for others as a teen. Through my teens and 20s I consistently dog sat, did scheduled walks out of others’ homes, or cat play/feed visits. I’ve loved each and every pet: from Great Dane siblings to cats that rule the house and play it cool. I grew up with cats and have long term cared for a Vizsla dog beloved to me, as my own. I have experience with animals that do not get along with other animals, or take a while to get used to humans (I’ve always had an affinity for these guys and allowed them the space and time to grow comfortable with me). I live in Portland, OR but am from the Hudson Valley and back in the area to be closer to my father who is on hospice with a terminal illness. Izzy exceeded all of our expectations as a dog sitter! She was incredibly attentive and loving toward Brody, and she kept us updated and communicated with us throughout our entire trip, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. By the time our trip was over, Brody had completely decided that Izzy was part of the family. 😂 Even after we got home, he would wait for her in the spare bedroom, hoping she’d come back for more cuddles and love. Kalyna was awesome and our first meet and greet/walk went really well. She comes with great and positive energy and very clear communication about her boundaries and availability. My dogs of course loved her as I suspected they would. I am looking forward to working with Kalyna again as I know my dogs are!
Emily was super excited to stay with my pups even with their quirks and was able to book within a week of my vacation and meet them when I had a last minute cancelation with someone else! She was very responsive both before and during my trip and kept me updated about my dogs with pictures which was super appreciated! She was also able to give medication to one of them as needed and follow the food directions as well as made time to sit with one of them who will only eat with company.
