About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 10 years and have experience with all kinds of pets, from large dogs like German Shepherds to small terriers, cats, kittens, and even fish. I’m a college student, so my schedule is pretty consistent during the week. My busiest days are Tuesdays (8 AM–4 PM) and Wednesdays (10 AM–4 PM). On Mondays and Fridays, I’m only away from 10 AM–2 PM, and Thursdays I’m gone just from 11 AM–12 PM. Outside of classes, I’m very flexible and able to give pets plenty of attention, walks, and care. I also work part-time at a country club, but it’s currently the off-season, so my schedule is mostly focused on school. In my home, pets are treated like family. I have two friendly pets of my own, so I’m very used to maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and stick to their usual routines. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions and make it a priority to understand each pet’s specific needs, habits, and personality. My wife and I were a little apprehensive at first about having someone we did not know stay overnight in our home, especially with our senior dog, who needs frequent trips outside and is prone to accidents in the house. Amanda completely exceeded our expectations. She went above and beyond in every way, giving both of our pets the attention they needed and carefully following all of our care instructions. She told us she would treat our pets as if they were her own, and she truly did. Our senior dog needs frequent trips outside, some help walking, and is prone to accidents in the house. Amanda handled all of it with incredible patience, care, and professionalism. She made sure he had plenty of potty breaks by taking him out often, waking up early, and staying up late to care for him. When he had accidents, she took care of everything without hesitation, including thoroughly cleaning him up, washing his blankets and bedding, and making sure he was comfortable afterward. That level of care and compassion really meant a lot to us. She also kept our home incredibly clean. In fact, she even vacuumed the living room before we got home and left the house cleaner than we left it. On top of that, she sent us daily updates and texts about both our dog and cat, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Amanda is a true professional, caring, responsible, attentive, and dependable. She was a huge stress relief for us, and we felt so much better knowing our pets were in such capable hands. We will absolutely be using her again on a regular basis for as long as she is available.”

Violet is my mini doodle who I adopted after she was found to have a swallowing disorder, and Emmie Lou is my Australian Shepherd who loves to live her life on the wild side. We love going for walks, long hikes, and various training events like lure courses, agility and dock diving.
