House Sitting in Mountainville

About: I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life. Cats are my favorite and I’ve had them since I was a child. In the past I have been mostly cat sitting. More recently, I have been dog walking and sitting for friend’s dogs while they are away on vacation or at work. I enjoy it as a therapeutic way of bonding with the animals as a form of self-care and mutual support and pet care co-regulation. Unfortunately, I cannot have dogs at my residence as per my lease agreement and being able to sit and walk with dogs is a way of being able to enjoy access to them without being able to own them myself. I’m looking to expand my reach and explore more breeds at this time. Specifically, I have experience with Labradors and Boxers. I’m currently working part-time and have ample time to schedule walking and feedings, and am able to stay for extended periods of time with your pets. I have two cats whom I adore and dote on at my home and I am very attentive to their needs and make sure they have an enriched environment with toys and play time, as well as grooming care.

When we had to make last minute changes for our dogs’s care Robbie took the time to come over, get acclimated with our two large dogs and learn their routine to keep them comfortable as it was their first time with care from a sitter. When our flight was canceled due to a snow storm, she continued to show up for them and even took them out to play in the snow and sent us pics to keep our minds at ease. About: I have experience with being around animals since I’ve been 5 years old. I have two dogs of my own and three cats as well. I will make sure the animals are comfortable, loved and taken care of properly. I am patient, caring, and have high energy. I am big on play time and walks and making sure they get their exercise for the day. I have walked dogs before and also provided in house care for several of my neighbors and close family friends. I really do enjoy being around animals and find it very relaxing. I’m a college student and can be very stressed at times so getting to play with an animal really is something I look forward to. Thank you (: On a daily basis I am always making sure my animals are fed, getting play time in, cuddles and more! They are so important to me! Making sure my pets always have water and their litter box is clean on a daily basis. I always ensure they get little extra treats throughout the day as well as cuddles!
