About: I have decades of experience around cats and dogs - in the home and with extended family pets, and then started pet care for others as a teen. Through my teens and 20s I consistently dog sat, did scheduled walks out of others’ homes, or cat play/feed visits. I’ve loved each and every pet: from Great Dane siblings to cats that rule the house and play it cool. I grew up with cats and have long term cared for a Vizsla dog beloved to me, as my own. I have experience with animals that do not get along with other animals, or take a while to get used to humans (I’ve always had an affinity for these guys and allowed them the space and time to grow comfortable with me). I live in Portland, OR but am from the Hudson Valley and back in the area to be closer to my father who is on hospice with a terminal illness. About: Aside from growing up caring for animals, I’ve worked at a dog daycare for about a year. During my time there I learned a lot about dog behavior and how to read their body language.
