About: Iâm a devoted dog lover with hands-on experience and a strong history in animal welfare. Iâve worked at the ASPCA, and volunteered with Westchesterâs SPCA, and regularly care for three senior dogs at home. I bring patience, reliability, and a calm, loving approach to dog walking and boarding, with a focus on safety, comfort, and individualized attention. If your dog needs gentle exercise, bathroom breaks, or peaceful boarding while youâre away, Iâm here to help. My day starts with a quick check-in for each dogâs routine, then morning walks and feeding. I provide potty breaks, enrichment play, and any medications as needed, with brief updates after every visit. On slower days, I review schedules, adjust routines for comfort, and plan gentle activities for stimulation. I provide calm, individualized care- including potty breaks, gentle walks, and enrichment. I care for dogs of all ages, including seniors, offering slow, comforting strolls, and steady companionship, with updates after each visit.
About: I have years of hands-on experience as a whelper for French Bulldogs, caring for them from birth through every stage of puppyhood. Iâm excited to help families and take care of their pets. I currently own my own buisness from home. Iâm always home. I have a very flexible schedule. I have a big yard the pets can play at. ⸝ With years of experience whelping French Bulldogs, I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each dogâs needs. Iâm hands-on from the moment they wake up â making sure theyâre fed on schedule, given fresh water, and kept in a clean, safe environment. I monitor their health closely, provide gentle grooming, and make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. Whether itâs belly rubs, walks, or just being a calm and comforting presence, I treat every dog as if they were my own.

About: When I was 8 years old, I started an animal sitting business in my neighborhood. By the time I was 10, I had over 50 clients, with animals ranging from bird to dog, cat to guinea pig, wild outdoor foxes to indoor sugar gliders. I learned a lot in the ten years that I had these clients (by the time I graduated from high school, I had over 200!), but the number one thing I learned is that every animal is different. Even if they are the same breed, each animal has different motivations, different needs. I started working as a dog trainer, specifically for behavioral issues, in my early 20s. I have a special place in my heart for dogs that need some paw holding, structure, and reassurance. That's actually why I took my most recent dog, Poppy. No one else would have wanted her, and the pound that I pulled her from had already shaved her leg to euthanize her that very hour. It took me years to get her to be the amazing, confident, and loving dog she became. And it was well worth it! I've been out of the game for a while, as Poppy was a bit grumpy with strange dogs in her elder years, minus a few select clients. I have volunteered at Pets Alive in Middletown as well as some local rescues to offset my guilt of not fostering, but now that I have an empty house I am ready to open my home and heart once again! We have no children, no pets, a fenced in yard, and a safe space for any type of animal that needs care. Mammal, reptile, rodent- whatever you need, I can help!! Both adults currently working from home, so there is rarely a time that there is no one in the house. We have a great quiet neighborhood for walking, plus a fenced in yard for extra potty breaks and play time. I believe that every animal has their own needs, and every pet parent has their own rules. For instance, I am fine with dogs on the couch, but if you do not allow it I will not either. I will outline my usual day for the client, and we can add or subtract anything thatâs needed for the client. I have puzzles, toys, lots of comfy blankets and dog beds. Iâm happy to work on any training that they may need- and at the end of the day, Iâm here to provide a service. I will always treat the pets in my home as my own, and will treat them with respect and love.

About: Coordinating daycare, walks and travel for your pet is easier than ever. We (Leo and I) give your dog the care he/she/they deserve, whether it's for a weekend of fun or a week on vacation. We are available to take your dog(s) on walks, give them snacks and play time, provide overnight care and more. Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. An act as simple as refilling their food bowl at the same time every day is enough to make them feel comfortable in their living space. I have 8 years training experience. I understand dogs need love while the parents are away. Leo (Miniature Poodle) is ES trained and will be great company to keep your pup entertained. All pets are given water from the spring (tap water contains fluoride damaging doggie teeth) and food provided by owners. Afternoon walks down the trail to the doggie park is every dogs favorite time of day, followed by a nap induced by belly rubsđś
âExcellent care and attentiveness. My dog was comfortable right away, during a rough week of meeting lots of new people and lots of change. But my dog loves Matthewâs son, which is the secret sauce đ¤Łâ

About: soo iâm about to get deep because thatâs just how i am.. iâll start off by saying that i lost my dog bolero on 4/2/24 and i have never experienced something SO heartbreaking before. bo was my best friend and losing him was not easy.. i wish to connect and be there for any dog like i was for him in honor of him. with that being said i have an even deeper passion/love for animals. we truly donât deserve them, theyâre the best thing to ever happen to us!! i grew up around animals (dogs, cats, horses, cows, ducks, etc.) iâm an animal lover and every animal iâve taken care of has gotten nothing but the best from me. iâm a stay at home mom! my son is 2 and iâm always looking for something to do to keep us both busy! iâm available all the time! unless thereâs something i have to go to which is rare besides an appointment!! my dog and cats would follow me everywhere!, and when my dog needed to go out weâd go on nice walks and my cats would sit in the window watching haha. iâve always maintained the water and food bowls making sure theyâre fed and hydrated along with keeping the litter box clean. iâve never had my dog sleep in a crate or be crate trained but ive taken care of dogs who were. i can meet your animals needs i just need to know exactly what they need!
âHighly recommend. My senior dog had a great doggy daycare day with Taus. I wish I lived locally so I could rebook. I got photos and videos of her galavanting around town (with my permission), visiting local shops and having the time of her life. Communication was super smooth leading up to the day, and we even got to video chat before the booking. Taus asked what else could be done to make Myrtleâs stay as comfortable as possible, which was very sweet.â

Gardnertown dog parents share their Rover experiences
Breyalyn is such a sweetheart. Her and her mom took great care of Max while we visited NY from VA. This was the 1st time I used her service and it will not be the last. When we are back in town I will definitely have her care for my Max again. She's sent pics and updates and he was so happy he didn't want to leave. That makes our family happy!
