About: When I was 8 years old, I started an animal sitting business in my neighborhood. By the time I was 10, I had over 50 clients, with animals ranging from bird to dog, cat to guinea pig, wild outdoor foxes to indoor sugar gliders. I learned a lot in the ten years that I had these clients (by the time I graduated from high school, I had over 200!), but the number one thing I learned is that every animal is different. Even if they are the same breed, each animal has different motivations, different needs. I started working as a dog trainer, specifically for behavioral issues, in my early 20s. I have a special place in my heart for dogs that need some paw holding, structure, and reassurance. That's actually why I took my most recent dog, Poppy. No one else would have wanted her, and the pound that I pulled her from had already shaved her leg to euthanize her that very hour. It took me years to get her to be the amazing, confident, and loving dog she became. And it was well worth it! I've been out of the game for a while, as Poppy was a bit grumpy with strange dogs in her elder years, minus a few select clients. I have volunteered at Pets Alive in Middletown as well as some local rescues to offset my guilt of not fostering, but now that I have an empty house I am ready to open my home and heart once again! We have no children, no pets, a fenced in yard, and a safe space for any type of animal that needs care. Mammal, reptile, rodent- whatever you need, I can help!! Both adults currently working from home, so there is rarely a time that there is no one in the house. We have a great quiet neighborhood for walking, plus a fenced in yard for extra potty breaks and play time. I believe that every animal has their own needs, and every pet parent has their own rules. For instance, I am fine with dogs on the couch, but if you do not allow it I will not either. I will outline my usual day for the client, and we can add or subtract anything that’s needed for the client. I have puzzles, toys, lots of comfy blankets and dog beds. I’m happy to work on any training that they may need- and at the end of the day, I’m here to provide a service. I will always treat the pets in my home as my own, and will treat them with respect and love.

About: Over 20 yrs of pet experience between dogs and cats. From kittens, puppies and adult pets. I currently have cats in the home. One is mine and the other two are fosters. I have a fenced in yard but will also provide walks to dogs. Your cat(s) will have a room to themselves. I wash pet bowls daily as well scoop 2x a day. I keep a clean home. Pets are on flea & tick. You’re welcome to bring anything you want for your pet to be as comfortable as possible. Please reach out if you have any additional questions. Thank you I currently work full-time during the week. I can board dogs Some Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays if you want them walked every 2-4hrs or so. If pets are ok with going to the bathroom 2x a day I can board Sunday , Monday and Tuesday. Cats Anytime as they use the litter. I scoop the litter box 2x a day. Change out litter every 3-4 days for (1) cat and every 2-3 days for (2) or more cats. I. sweep, vacuum and dust daily. U use air purifiers to help reduce danger and allergens. I wash pet bowls daily and keep food stored properly.

About: Coordinating daycare, walks and travel for your pet is easier than ever. We (Leo and I) give your dog the care he/she/they deserve, whether it's for a weekend of fun or a week on vacation. We are available to take your dog(s) on walks, give them snacks and play time, provide overnight care and more. Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. An act as simple as refilling their food bowl at the same time every day is enough to make them feel comfortable in their living space. I have 8 years training experience. I understand dogs need love while the parents are away. Leo (Miniature Poodle) is ES trained and will be great company to keep your pup entertained. All pets are given water from the spring (tap water contains fluoride damaging doggie teeth) and food provided by owners. Afternoon walks down the trail to the doggie park is every dogs favorite time of day, followed by a nap induced by belly rubs🐶

About: soo i’m about to get deep because that’s just how i am.. i’ll start off by saying that i lost my dog bolero on 4/2/24 and i have never experienced something SO heartbreaking before. bo was my best friend and losing him was not easy.. i wish to connect and be there for any dog like i was for him in honor of him. with that being said i have an even deeper passion/love for animals. we truly don’t deserve them, they’re the best thing to ever happen to us!! i grew up around animals (dogs, cats, horses, cows, ducks, etc.) i’m an animal lover and every animal i’ve taken care of has gotten nothing but the best from me. i’m a stay at home mom! my son is 2 and i’m always looking for something to do to keep us both busy! i’m available all the time! unless there’s something i have to go to which is rare besides an appointment!! my dog and cats would follow me everywhere!, and when my dog needed to go out we’d go on nice walks and my cats would sit in the window watching haha. i’ve always maintained the water and food bowls making sure they’re fed and hydrated along with keeping the litter box clean. i’ve never had my dog sleep in a crate or be crate trained but ive taken care of dogs who were. i can meet your animals needs i just need to know exactly what they need!
