When I was ten, my dad remarried and my mom brought with her the first cat I was held responsible for. Not long after, I got an after school job as an Assistant for a local veterinary clinic where I was taught many of the basic handling and care needed for a healthy pet. I also cared for two of my own cats after that, including a diabetic cat that needed two shots a day for 20 years. I also have elderly cat care under my experience. I work remotely in the advertising industry, for brands people recognize. I'll work from your home for the duration of the care window and make sure your pet has everything they need to trust someone new! I have recent experience sitting for large dogs as well, just ask for the details.

I've worked with lots of animals and have an excellent read on when a pet is uncomfortable or needs medical attention. Administering meds or different food rituals is no issue and all pets need some play time, even the elder ones (even if its just enrichment). I'll take whatever instructions you want/need me to follow and make appropriate suggestions where I can so that you return to healthy and happy pet!

Preston was absolutely amazing with Bruno! Bruno can definitely be a handful, but Preston handled him with patience, care, and professionalism every step of the way. He went above and beyond by taking Bruno on walks, keeping him engaged, and even helped teach him how to use his communication buttons. I can tell Bruno was taken well cared of and genuinely enjoyed his time with Preston. The updates gave me peace of mind, and I came home to my happy sweet baby angel. Preston was a delight to have watch Maggie and the house. He cleaned up after Maggie, played with her, and walked her according to everything I prepared for him and more. The place was cleaner when I got back than when I left! It's unusual that I get a house sitter when I'm gone, but if I ever need it again, I'll check his availability first.
Preston was amazing! I had him booked for 18 days while I was out of country and was super nervous about leaving but he quickly made me feel good about leaving my cat with him. He sent pictures, videos, and updates often. He played with her lots (maybe more than I do) and she ended up really liking him (cuddling, making biscuits, everything). During a tornado warning he went above and beyond by sending me constant updates and took her to the basement which made me feel very good. Additionally, he fed my gerbils! Overall, I would always book Preston and you should too
Preston watched my 2.5 year old sheepadoodle Archie for just under 2 weeks while I was traveling. I highly recommend Preston to anyone who needs a house sitter. He was great with Archie and provided me updates as needed and was easy to get a hold of. He even began training Archie on some different skills. He even left my house cleaner than when I left it. Preston was a great choice for house sitting and I will definitely try to use him again if I ever need someone to watch my pup and house!
Preston did a great job house sitting and taking care of our large Scottish Deerhound over the weekend. He was responsive with the initial request and accommodating when meeting us so we could show him the house. We received frequent updates on how walks and feedings were going along with pictures. He took great care of the house. Everything was clean and tidy when we got back. The water dish was full of clean water. We are really happy with how things went and would gladly have him back to watch our dog.
