Amanda is an excellent communicator and was a perfect match for us and our (usually) shy doggy who took to her right away! She went above and beyond, keeping me updated and reassured with all the cute moments while I was out of town for a week. Cricket was comfortable with her so quickly, and it was so great to see the genuine joy she took in our funny gal. Would highly recommend her!

Amanda has suchhhh good energy and very clearly cares so deeply about dogs and fostering a trusting relationship with them (as well as with their parent!) She was super attentive, kind, and reliable. I will definitely be booking with Amanda again!

Absolutely incredible! Amanda went above and beyond the whole time we were away. I felt like I could actually enjoy my vacation because of her genuine care for my dogs. I beyond suggest her to take care of your animals

Amanda has only walked our dog June twice so far, and we already absolutely love her. She is so kind, attentive, and clearly cares so much about the animals she works with. Not only is June happy and well taken care of, but she also gives our kitty Penelope lots of love and attention too, which means so much to us. She always keeps me updated and sends pictures, which I really appreciate. We already feel so comfortable with her and are so glad we found her!

Amanda is the. best. dog sitter we have had! She is incredibly kind, conscientious, loving, and truly went above and beyond to make me and my girls (two large older dogs with different medications and needs!) feel comfortable and safe! We LOVE Amanda and you will too!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I am a recent Master's in Social Work graduate with availability and flexibility. My social work experience as well as my personality are reflected in my work, patience and love of animals.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I am a respectful, patient caring individual with lots of love and energy for animals. I am comfortable with crate trained animals, as well as those who sleep in the bed. I will make sure that your animal feels safe and comfortable by reading it's body language and communication around what it needs. I can be extremely affectionate and cuddly and also respectful of space depending on what each individual needs. I adore and respect every animal's unique way of expressing themselves, whether it be rolling around tail wagging, nervously keeping to their corner or being a bully and vocal when they want something.

A typical day

A typical day might be a long leisurely morning walk, a short hike or a stroll around the neighborhood, depending on your dog's needs and energy level. Back home for tug of war, catch, treat time, snuggle time, nap time or chatting (yes I will talk to your animal). A good evening walk, pre or post dinner time to get all the sniffs in and explore what's been going on all day and back for some decompression, scratches and treats.
