About: My care for animals is rooted in my nature. I have spent 28 years loving and caring for dogs, cats, and livestock like sheep and goats. I currently volunteer at the Ulster County SPCA weekly doing dog and cat socialization. I bring genuine passion, care, and patience to each pet that is in my care. I am available for pet visits and walks from 6am to 11am and 8:30pm to 10:30pm during the week. My availability on the weekends is much more flexible. Let’s chat and come up with a plan. With over two decades of animal experience, I know that trust is earned, not assumed. I take time to read each pet’s cues, honor their boundaries, and follow your established routines. About: I've been surrounded by and taken care of animals my entire life, and I want to be your new trustworthy pet sitter or dog walker! I have a standard poodle named Remy and maine coon cat named Bash at home, and they are my everything. I've fostered kittens (as young as 2.5 weeks old) for six years now and have been a petsitter for longer. I'm great with people and even better with cats and dogs. I want to keep your pets safe and happy, and you worry-free! I can administer medicine, trim nails, walk any size dog, clean, monitor urine and stool output, keep track of mood and general signs for concern, and I love sending cute update pictures so you know your pets are thriving! I'm currently in my last clinical to get my master's in occupational therapy, and I'm working at a hospital 5 days a week. I can pet-sit before, after, overnight, or just walk your pets or check in if needed! I'm great at following directions and problem-solving, and I'll do whatever I can to make sure you're comfortable with me entering your home to care for your pets. I understand different types of collars, leashes, and equipment needed to guarantee a pet's safety. I am very aware of my surroundings and good at reading a pet's energy and potential reactivity. I've had animals my entire life, so closing the door quickly and not letting pets out is second nature to me. I know your pets are your family, and I will treat them as such!

About: I've had dogs of all ages all my life and think they are the 👌 👍 😍 🥰. I've boarded very senor dogs as well as young furry critters I'm a retired teacher so that I'm able to be free much of the time. I'm also a working artist and my studio is in my home. I have a bright house with a good sized fenced-in back yard. My home is near parks and conveniently located. The neighborhood is super-quiet with doggy friendly folk.

About: Dogs have always been cherished members of my family for my whole life. I grew up caring for our family pups (Sammy, River, Indy, Sirius, and the newest addition, Loki!) from their puppyhood through their senior golden years. When I was 12, I began caring for the dogs and cats in my neighborhood. I am experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes (I grew up with border collie/lab mixes, a great dane/pit/lab mix, and an aussie shepherd), and have extensive experience caring for more than one dog (or cat!) at a time. About: As a social worker, I'm highly attuned to both human and animal needs/issues, and love getting to know and cater to unique personalities - or provide loving care for those who are ill or have special needs. I started taking care of neighbors' pets at an early age and though we only had fish and birds and a cat at home, dogs and other animals became a special love of mine. I have been cat, dog, bird and other little furry friend sitting for over four decades and have done so for several years as a 5 star sitter on Trusted Housesitters. I love making new furry friends, both for sharing my positive, attentive energy with them, and for nourishing in the innocent sweet playfulness they often offer. The mutual benefits of animal care are no joke! As an avid traveler and travel writer (we social workers need periodic breaks from our big jobs), pet sitting has been a fabulous win-win-for-all! A veteran 5-start pet-sitter, I am new to Rover and am figuring out how the calendar and geography works so it can reflect where I am and when I'm available. Most folks comment that they can barely tell I've been there. Cleanliness, respect, and loving care are my hallmarks. I make sure to honor any requests and instructions for people's homes, which often have quirks and special needs -- and to of course respect privacy too, just as I would as a social worker. As for furry friends, they get exceptional, reliable, patient, playful, caring energy from me while I make sure that all their food, litter, or other needs are met.

My availability is pretty flexible and I will be more than willing to work around my schedule to fit your fur babies needs. About: I’ve had and also taken care of dogs my entire life. Whether it be my own, family or friends. I currently have a 13 year old dog at home so I am experienced with senior care. Although I am currently working part time, I still have plenty of time to watch, play with and take care of your fur baby. I am available for boarding on weekdays and weekends after 5pm. I have a fenced in area in my yard and a senior dog who is lovable, friendly and good with other dogs. I frequently take my dog on car rides and to the pet store and would be happy to do the same for your fur baby. I can also crate and walk your dog if needed!
