“Sofia and her husband Arsen did a wonderful job looking after my 5 cats. One of them is a very high maintenance rescued Himalayan. His coat looked better than it did when I left and his eyes were well cleaned. The other four were happy and well fed.”

“When I saw Paige was on Rover, I jumped to book her for drop-in visits during our vacation. Knowing her dedication and boundless affection for pets — no matter their quirks or issues! — from her work at the Ulster County SPCA, I knew my husband and I would be able to enjoy our trip without worry for our two elderly cattle dogs who need daily medication. Sure enough, our pups were well-cared for and are now both big fans of her. Thanks again, Paige!”

About: I would love to take your dog for a walk or hike in and around the Woodstock area. I have many years of experience owning dogs and cats, and dog and cat sitting for friends since I was a kid. I have also spent time walking dogs at animal shelters and am trained in pet first aid and cpr. I love big dogs, little dogs and anything in between :) I'm usually available during the day and some evenings and weekends. I love to hike and would also be happy to hike with your dog. I'm passionate about health and wellness and natural living. I'm originally from the UK but have been living in NY for over two decades. I live in the Woodstock area with my two daughters, our two rescue dogs and our rescue kitten. I’m usually out walking dogs in the morning and working from home in the afternoons. My dogs love to play with other pups and we enjoy going on long walks or taking care of pets in our home. I’m also available for drop in visits at your home, or for your dogs to stay at our home while you are away. I always keep dogs on the leash and make sure we get plenty of time outside. I have plenty of dog toys and beds in the house for playing and naps.
About: I Work nights! I am off Thursday and Friday nights. I've rasied my 80lb. Female dog from when she was 4 weeks old to about 6 years. I'm very active and love to take my dog out for runs. Very disciplined and have taught my big girl to behave politely in NYC. I've taken care of huskies and smaller dogs like chihuahuas and poodles for neighbors as well! I work overnights and just moved to an Tamnersville. I would love to walk or just spend time with a dog. My dog is home on staten island with family and I miss spending time with dogs so much! Hygiene and cleanliness at home are priority. A lot of canine care is knowing what each dogs' wants and needs are. Each dog will communicate to you what they want and need. Communication with the owner is key along with ensuring the dog is well fed and stimulated!
About: I am a life-long animal lover and an experienced walker and sitter for dogs. I also am great with cat care. I have over 25 years of pet care experience and provide catered attention for each pet I sit whether in your home or mine. I can provide references beyond my Rover testimonials, as I am still relatively new to the app. I have worked in pet care privately for several years. I am a full-time dog walker and pet sitter. I am available for daily walks and pet sitting - whether for a day, week,or longer. I am available to care for your pet in your home if preferred !! I believe it’s important to organize activities according to a pets’ individual needs. I strive to provide all pets in my care with the appropriate exercises and stimulation to meet their daily physical requirements and interests.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.
“Kacey did a great job taking care of my kitties. The cats liked her during the meet and great and I am happy they are well cared for in my absence. I will be definitely continue to book her when I am traveling.”

Please reach out and I will try my best to accommodate you! I love dogs, I would love to accompany your pet and keep them company while you’re gone. As I have a dog of my own I know how it feels to have to leave your animal and I will try my best to keep them happy until your return!
“Eleanor is the quintessential pup sitter. She is everything you would wish for: prompt, smart, communicative and caring. We used Eleanor to drop in on Sparky, yesterday and everything went off without a glitch. We already have her booked for our vacation week next year!”

I’m comfortable, reliable, and dedicated to giving every animal the attention, patience, and care they deserve. About: I grew up with two dogs who were my best friends. I have been steadily watching my sister’s beautiful dog Albert and her new puppy Janice for 3 years. Those days are the best days - i walk them, feed them their meals and required medicine, and always make sure they have loads of attention and pets! I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible, so I can cater to your individualized needs! I travel sometimes on weekends, but with enough notice, I will lock your dog sitting needs into my schedule and always show up in a timely fashion! I always keep an eye on the pets I am watching when out in the yard, even if the space is enclosed - I watch for other animals, etc to always ensure your pet’s safety. I have gone on many a walk with medium to large dogs and always make sure their leash is within 6-8 feet and they are secure within their harness.
About: I’ve worked to socialize my friends’ formally aggressive dog. Additionally I’ve socialized a family friends’ pitbull by going on long hikes with two or three other dogs. I’ve also been pet sitting a neighbor’s dog whenever they go out of town. I’m currently not working any other jobs, so I’m available and flexible during week days. I am away from home on holidays and will not be in town for most weekends of July and August. I have a friendly dog who is down to play or to just sniff depending on what the other dog is like. I live in Woodstock, ny where there are many hiking trails, water holes, and fields to take dogs on a long walk. There is also a local dog park that I visit frequently.
About: I grew up in a cat household and became a dog mom as soon as I left home. I absolutely love all of the cats and dogs I’ve been fortunate enough to meet in this life. I raised my pup, Grumble, from 3 weeks old until she left this world at 11 years old. I am very familiar with the range of needs a dog will have throughout life, from teething to play to mobility assistance. I'm fully available in the winter as my regular job (gardening) is seasonal and won't be picking up again until later in the spring time. I can be flexible to your pets needs and more than happy to follow any directions you provide me with for their optimal care and contentment.
About: I’ve had and also taken care of dogs my entire life. Whether it be my own, family or friends. I currently have a 13 year old dog at home so I am experienced with senior care. Although I am currently working part time, I still have plenty of time to watch, play with and take care of your fur baby. I am available for boarding on weekdays and weekends after 5pm. I have a fenced in area in my yard and a senior dog who is lovable, friendly and good with other dogs. I frequently take my dog on car rides and to the pet store and would be happy to do the same for your fur baby. I can also crate and walk your dog if needed!
“Michael took care of my cat Bean and did an amazing job. He was very responsive and punctual, and kept me updated with pictures each time he came to my apartment. I would recommend him to anyone looking for pet care. I’ll definitely hire him again.”

About: Im Jeremiah, lover of all pets, young and old, big and small. I can do walks, hikes, swimming, even to a play day at the park, I am sure I will pamper your pooch. I live close to Woodstock and have knowledge of all of the great and safe walking trails. I'm currently focused on dog walking and cat sitting full-time and available the majority of the time. I plan to be there for you and your pets when needed. I always check fence gates before letting a dog outside, I always lock the doors and make sure I don't step outside without the key, I always do a one last check to make sure the pet is well cared for, and I tend to give myself time between each client.
