About: I absolutely love taking care of and being around animals. I am kind, reliable and very loving, with years of experience with both cats & dogs. I currently work part-time very close to my home and have reliable transportation. This means I typically have plenty of time to cater to your pets daily needs. Some days I would be able to be with them all day, whereas other days I can do morning, nights, or middle-of-the-day check-ins. I typically do not care for client's pets in my own home because of my two cats. I am happy to travel to any client home to take care of their pet however that may be needed: play, walks, parks, etc.

About: Hi! My name is Andrea. I have lived in the Hudson Valley for almost 4 years now, and have been working in the area off and on since 2014. I live with my partner, Mike, and precious pups Kona and Desi. I have always lived with dogs. I am an Occupational Therapist in a school district full time and love to farm and bicycle during my off time. I’ve done house sitting and dog sitting previously and enjoyed the work. I have my own vehicle and am used to commuting around the Hudson Valley for work and for fun. About: I've had dogs of all ages all my life and think they are the 👌 👍 😍 🥰. I've boarded very senor dogs as well as young furry critters I'm a retired teacher so that I'm able to be free much of the time. I'm also a working artist and my studio is in my home. I have a bright house with a good sized fenced-in back yard. My home is near parks and conveniently located. The neighborhood is super-quiet with doggy friendly folk.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. People rely on me to take care of their dogs like feed them and bathe them and play with them and walk them and make sure they’re well loved It will only be me working with the dogs, I don’t need any other assistance with other people. I do work a full-time job, but I have flexible time before or after work so I’ll be able to take care of your dogs or cats. The best days are Monday through Saturday, Monday - Wednesday would be in the morning and Thursday - Saturday would be in the afternoon/evening. We have a fenced in yard at our house and we like to play fetch with our dogs, especially in the nice weather. They even love the snow. We do crate train our one dog so if your dogs need to be crated, I am able to do so. Our dogs are on the schedule for their food so if your dogs are too, I understand and can follow that schedule. And we give them lots of love so your dog(s) will be loved too.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: I am a groom school and vet tech student. Along with having dogs and cats for most of my life, I’ve worked on beef and dairy farms. I have experience handling horses, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, reptiles, fish and insects. I work part time as a groom tech an hour north of Saugerties, so my availability in Saugerties/Kingston area is Monday through Wednesday. This is subject to change past the December holidays. When I walk your dog, I know various city sidewalks as well as more natural places to walk. I can provide boots in case of inclement weather.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs and was responsible for caring for them from a young age. I can take your dog on long walks or give your cat plenty of social play time. I have a few free days that I’m looking to fill by walking and dropping in on my neighbors’ pets. Now that I don’t have a dog of my own anymore, I’m looking to satisfy my pup time fix. About: I have lots of experience dog walking, dog sitting overnight or regular check ins of any kind. I’ve been dog walking/sitting for 7 years now but have fostered dogs and cats for a couple of years before that. I love every dog/cat I take care of and make sure they’re comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I love that every animal I take care of has their own little quirks and I make sure each pet is part of their own routine that they are used to and I believe that is super important for them! I am a teacher so in the summer I am free and can be with your pet whenever they need! During the school year, I will be gone from 8-4 but will still love to give your pet the care they need! I can crate, walk or anything that you need me to provide for your dog while you are away! I will make sure that even if you’re not home your animals feel as safe and comfortable as if you were with them.

About: Growing up on farms in Vermont, I have been around animals my entire life and I love them all. I have taken care of animals through all stages of life birth through passing. I am not only a pet lover I am a pet owner. Your fur baby will get nothing but the best care possible. I have a pretty flexible schedule and that allows me the ability to be available more frequently and on short notice.
