I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, doors and gates, sleeping arrangements, and household routines. I never introduce a pet to unfamiliar animals or take them somewhere without the owner’s permission. I also treat every client’s home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show in mine. I have been primarily working as a pet nanny for 5 years for someone who traveled to Europe on a monthly basis. They are staying in Europe indefinitely so I am looking to add some new clients. I can offer your dogs fun playtime and a sense of stability by caring for them in their own environment. I am also available for walks and drop in visits. I send pictures and updates daily. About: I've had dogs of all ages all my life and think they are the 👌 👍 😍 🥰. I've boarded very senor dogs as well as young furry critters I'm a retired teacher so that I'm able to be free much of the time. I'm also a working artist and my studio is in my home. I have a bright house with a good sized fenced-in back yard. My home is near parks and conveniently located. The neighborhood is super-quiet with doggy friendly folk.

About: Growing up on farms in Vermont, I have been around animals my entire life and I love them all. I have taken care of animals through all stages of life birth through passing. I am not only a pet lover I am a pet owner. Your fur baby will get nothing but the best care possible. I have a pretty flexible schedule and that allows me the ability to be available more frequently and on short notice. Day and night availability to give you peace of mind In my home we have a fenced yard. But I also take my dogs on regular walks and outings to the dog park. Making sure to tick check after each outside exposure.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs and was responsible for caring for them from a young age. I can take your dog on long walks or give your cat plenty of social play time. I have a few free days that I’m looking to fill by walking and dropping in on my neighbors’ pets. Now that I don’t have a dog of my own anymore, I’m looking to satisfy my pup time fix. I have a friendly and social cat who is looking forward to making new friends. My house is clean and quiet and would be a great spot to host your pets.

About: I am a groom school and vet tech student. Along with having dogs and cats for most of my life, I’ve worked on beef and dairy farms. I have experience handling horses, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, reptiles, fish and insects. I work part time as a groom tech an hour north of Saugerties, so my availability in Saugerties/Kingston area is Monday through Wednesday. This is subject to change past the December holidays. When I walk your dog, I know various city sidewalks as well as more natural places to walk. I can provide boots in case of inclement weather.

About: I have lots of experience dog walking, dog sitting overnight or regular check ins of any kind. I’ve been dog walking/sitting for 7 years now but have fostered dogs and cats for a couple of years before that. I love every dog/cat I take care of and make sure they’re comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I love that every animal I take care of has their own little quirks and I make sure each pet is part of their own routine that they are used to and I believe that is super important for them! I am a teacher so in the summer I am free and can be with your pet whenever they need! During the school year, I will be gone from 8-4 but will still love to give your pet the care they need! I can crate, walk or anything that you need me to provide for your dog while you are away! I will make sure that even if you’re not home your animals feel as safe and comfortable as if you were with them.

About: I have taken care of many a dog in my life, mostly my own or those of family, have cat sitted for many summers, and I have experience with both small and large dogs. I have potty trained and obedience trained dogs, I love to walk with dogs and I really love to teach new tricks. I'm a senior at Bard College looking to spend some more time with dogs as I'm missing my own! I am currently a Senior at Bard College and I also work in the Bard Admissions office, and play for their Women's Lacrosse team. That being said, I love animals and truly miss the comforts of having a dog. I have sporadic classes throughout weekdays with plenty of time in between classes to go for a walk with a dog, or go back to a house and hang out for a little while before I have to go back to class. Sometimes I have practice and games, but nothing makes me happier than spending time with a pet. I'm big on letting pets dictate their vibe! I have an active and excited cat so I love to play, or set up puzzles for some enrichment. But, also if a chill snuggle is the vibe for the day, that's great too!
