There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t had a pet. Growing up I had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish, and a rabbit. I love all animals and treat them like a member of the family, because they are. I currently have three dogs of my own; two middle aged and an older pup. I have been a part of rover for a couple years now and love all the fur babies I get to meet. I have been a part of a couple different professional training experiences and am able to help train basic commands.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on a large property away from traffic. We have a very basic fence around our yard which works for some dogs but not all (one of my own is an escape artist so he needs to be walked on a leash.) I will ask you about your comfortability with letting your dog off leash or if you prefer they remain leashed while in my care. I give my animals unconditional love but know that a routine is incredibly important and beneficial as well. I will follow whatever routine you have set for your pet.

We’ve had Kristel do drop in visits for our cat Sonny a handful of times and she is just the best. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
We love that we can trust Kristel to come into our home while we're gone to check in on our dogs. She has watched our dog, Honey, in the past and Honey loves Kristel! Our newly adopted dog, Oliver, adjusted to Kristel quickly. Kristel was timely, communicative, and relayes the important information to us while we were gone. Thank you for making our quick trip away for a night a little less stressful because we knew that our pups were being well taken care of!
Kristel was great! Was at my home when requested and was great at keeping in touch. Will definitely have her take care of our boxer Roz again.
Our high energy dog JJ loved staying with Kristel and had a great time playing in her fenced in yard with her 3 dogs. Kristel is very friendly and communicative and sent lots of photos and videos to keep us updated which I really appreciated. She took great care of JJ -- we would definitely book again. Thanks!

Kristel was terrific!! We were traveling and needed someone to walk and feed our dogs while we went into the city. They were well cared for and her photos of the dogs were great!! I wouldn’t hesitate to have her care for our dogs anytime we’re in the area.

Schedule
I’m available to board on weekends and do check ins during the day. I work full time Monday-Friday 9-5 in Kingston. I would be willing to pick your dog up to/from home/daycare depending on where you live and my availability
