About: Hi there, my name is Fiona! I am simply an animal lover at heart! I have over five years of experience caring for animals - I was very active on Rover a few years ago, walking and pet sitting a few nights a week. I had to step away to care for my own elderly pup, but I'm ready to get back out there and provide the support you need to best care for your animals:) I have experience pet sitting (cats included!) and dog walking. I have particular experience working with elderly dogs and/or dogs who suffer from anxiety. Coming from someone who has an elderly/anxious pup myself, I recognize the unique challenges this kind of demeanor presents. I am willing to work with you and your animal to make sure everyone is comfortable, confident, and cared for! I'm currently working full-time and looking to supplement with pet care when I can. My availability is mostly on the weekends, though I could accommodate walking and pet check-ins during the evening on weekdays as well. I do not currently offer boarding services. I have worked with a few different clients with varying circumstances - dog sitting with fenced in yard, dog sitting without fenced in yard, walking outside home in neighborhood, transporting pups to walking trails - I have my own form of transportation and am happy to take your pup on some nice trails for a good walk! Whatever your circumstances might be I am committed to providing your four legged baby with the best care in whatever way I can.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for over 10 years, giving them lots of love and attention. I also have a lot of experience and self learned basic training commands. I work from home and have a flexible schedule which opens my availability for lots of walks and outside play time with your doggo while they are with me. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for more than 14 years and understand how much trust it takes to leave both a beloved pet and your home in someone else’s care. I have experience with dogs of different ages and personalities, including senior dogs, and I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic care, and oral medications. About: I've cared for many cats and dogs, from pit bulls to terriers to English bulldogs. I have experience with puppy training, senior dog care, and oral medication administration. I'm a patient and compassionate pet owner, and I promise to treat your fur babies with the same love and care I would my own. I'm also a graduate music student in case your pet might want to be serenaded by a french horn :) I'm a musician and graduate student at Bard. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I always have a good idea of what my schedule will look well in advance. In addition, I am generally free most mornings, and can often be flexible. I'm very happy to provide your dog(s) with walks, food, brushing, bathing, and medication. I love to play fetch with dogs, go on walks or hikes, visit dog parks, cuddle, practice tricks, or any other enriching activity. With cats, I love to cuddle, play, and practice or try new tricks with treats.

About: I've been taking care of all my friends' pets for the last 2 years since I moved to the Hudson Valley! I'm usually their first call when they're in need of a pet sitter and they're gone on vacation. I love dogs (especially lap dogs!) and although I'm allergic to cats (except hypoallergenic breeds) they're my kryptonite. So cute! Because I work freelance for half the week, I have a bit of flexibility for drop-ins! I'm responsible, attentive, respectful, and communicative! I give the so much love, and play time. About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: Animal lover with vet hospital experience. My experience ranges from socializing puppies and teaching basic manners to caring for seniors with medical needs. Very practiced in the world of Chihuahua IYKYK 🐶 I’ve worked with traumatized rescues and understand their needs. I can administer medications and care for sick pets. Extensive experience with caring for pets in recovery from surgery as well. Also available to take your pet to vet visits if needed. References available. Custom care for medical & special needs may have extra fees. My current schedule is flexible and I will work with you and your pets individual needs as best as possible.
