About: My care for animals is rooted in my nature. I have spent 28 years loving and caring for dogs, cats, and livestock like sheep and goats. I currently volunteer at the Ulster County SPCA weekly doing dog and cat socialization. I bring genuine passion, care, and patience to each pet that is in my care. I am available for pet visits and walks from 6am to 11am and 8:30pm to 10:30pm during the week. My availability on the weekends is much more flexible. Let’s chat and come up with a plan. About: My family owned a ruby Cavalier King Charles for 13 years. I have experience with basic pet needs and responsibilities, and understand how to take behavior queues when animals show a desire for a need. I’m a recent college graduate who attended Bard College in upstate NY. I recently relocated to Jersey City and am applying to full time roles. My schedule is relatively flexible, but please reach out for exact availability. I prioritize safety by ensuring a secure leash grip and using pet-safe paths to prevent any potential hazards during walks. This includes avoiding busy streets or areas with potential risks to pets. Secondly, building trust with both the pets and their owners is important. I take time to understand each dog's needs and preferences to ensure they feel comfortable on their walk. Clear communication with pet owners before, during, and after the walk helps maintain transparency and trust. Furthermore, creating a pet-friendly environment involves being mindful of the surroundings and ensuring a positive experience for the dog. This includes providing opportunities for exercise and bathroom breaks, while also being attentive to any signs of getting tired or uncomfortable. By prioritizing safety, trust, and a pet-friendly environment, I aim to provide reliable and caring dog walking services that enhance the well-being of pets in both my home and my clients' homes.

About: I've cared for many cats and dogs, from pit bulls to terriers to English bulldogs. I have experience with puppy training, senior dog care, and oral medication administration. I'm a patient and compassionate pet owner, and I promise to treat your fur babies with the same love and care I would my own. I'm also a graduate music student in case your pet might want to be serenaded by a french horn :) I'm a musician and graduate student at Bard. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I always have a good idea of what my schedule will look well in advance. In addition, I am generally free most mornings, and can often be flexible. I'm very happy to provide your dog(s) with walks, food, brushing, bathing, and medication. I love to play fetch with dogs, go on walks or hikes, visit dog parks, cuddle, practice tricks, or any other enriching activity. With cats, I love to cuddle, play, and practice or try new tricks with treats.

About: I have worked a lot with both ends of the spectrum in terms of activity: I enjoy sleepy dogs as well as hounds. I have a Hungarian Vizsla back home, who is essentially a hunting dog—and I enjoy seeing her tired at the end of the day. Currently, my main occupation is writing a senior thesis. I do that successfully in between and around pet-sitting gigs. I only have three classes a week, so taking care of dogs and cats is a perfect commitment that I love to pursue At my client's houses, I make sure to maintain a safe environment in which pets do not come into contact with anything or anyone that poses even the slightest risk to their health and well-being.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 16 years old. Growing up, I have always had at least one dog in my house, so I am very comfortable with them. I have cared for cats, older dogs, younger dogs, many different breeds, and both male and female dogs. I have experience dog sitting, dog walking, and just doing mid-day check-ins. I'm currently walking dogs a couple of times a week while their owners are at work and have been dog-sitting very regularly. I love going on walks, hikes, and any other kind of adventure with pups and always cater to the needs of each individual dog. I have had dogs with health issues so I am comfortable watching dogs with physical injuries and following medication regimens. I already have some dog-walking clients so that is something to consider but my schedule is mostly pretty open for your dog needs! With the summer heat, I prefer walking dogs earlier in the day or later in the day so they don't get too overheated. But, of course, I am happy to walk your furry friends based on your schedule! Because I have two dogs I don't board dogs at my house. I am more than happy to watch your dogs at your own home. I also think most dogs prefer this because it is a comfortable and familiar environment. I have worked with dogs who use invisible fences, physical fences, or need to be on a leash anytime they're outside. I'm comfortable with any of these scenarios. I am very flexible and am happy to cater to the needs of you, your pet, and your home.

About: I have done lots of pet sitting in my lifetime. I have mostly worked with cats and dogs but I also have taken care of rabbits, Guinea pigs, and even alpacas! I love all animals and would love to help out in any way I can! I do also have a small Boston terrier who is special needs. She is extremely loving and friendly. I am currently free 24/7 365 days! I am available for any and all pet needs! I am able to provide walks and stay at any home needed! I have a nice single bedroom apartment! The rail trail is close to me so I can walk them along that for nice outside exercise. There is lots of love to be shared!
