About: Hi there, my name is Fiona! I am simply an animal lover at heart! I have over five years of experience caring for animals - I was very active on Rover a few years ago, walking and pet sitting a few nights a week. I had to step away to care for my own elderly pup, but I'm ready to get back out there and provide the support you need to best care for your animals:) I have experience pet sitting (cats included!) and dog walking. I have particular experience working with elderly dogs and/or dogs who suffer from anxiety. Coming from someone who has an elderly/anxious pup myself, I recognize the unique challenges this kind of demeanor presents. I am willing to work with you and your animal to make sure everyone is comfortable, confident, and cared for! I'm currently working full-time and looking to supplement with pet care when I can. My availability is mostly on the weekends, though I could accommodate walking and pet check-ins during the evening on weekdays as well. I do not currently offer boarding services. I have worked with a few different clients with varying circumstances - dog sitting with fenced in yard, dog sitting without fenced in yard, walking outside home in neighborhood, transporting pups to walking trails - I have my own form of transportation and am happy to take your pup on some nice trails for a good walk! Whatever your circumstances might be I am committed to providing your four legged baby with the best care in whatever way I can.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for more than 14 years and understand how much trust it takes to leave both a beloved pet and your home in someone else’s care. I have experience with dogs of different ages and personalities, including senior dogs, and I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic care, and oral medications. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I know that every pet is different, so I prefer to follow the routines and rules they already know rather than suddenly changing their world while their family is away. I also have professional experience working in private residences in Manhattan, where reliability, discretion, attention to detail, and respect for someone’s home were essential. I bring that same attitude to pet sitting. When I stay in your home, I treat your space carefully and respectfully and make sure you return to it just as you left it. Most importantly, I want you to be able to leave knowing that your pet is safe, comfortable, loved, and in responsible hands. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away without worrying about what’s happening at home. My schedule is currently flexible, which allows me to give pets plenty of time and attention rather than simply stopping by and rushing off. I’m available for weekday and weekend care, including longer house-sitting stays. I can plan my day around your pet’s usual feeding, walking, play, and rest schedule. When I’m house sitting, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and familiar as possible while you’re away. Trust is extremely important to me. When you invite me into your home, I understand that you are trusting me with two things that matter enormously to you: your pet and your personal space. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, doors and gates, sleeping arrangements, and household routines. I never introduce a pet to unfamiliar animals or take them somewhere without the owner’s permission. I also treat every client’s home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show in mine. My experience working in private residences has taught me the importance of discretion, cleanliness, security, and attention to detail. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos, and I will always contact you if anything seems unusual.

About: I've cared for many cats and dogs, from pit bulls to terriers to English bulldogs. I have experience with puppy training, senior dog care, and oral medication administration. I'm a patient and compassionate pet owner, and I promise to treat your fur babies with the same love and care I would my own. I'm also a graduate music student in case your pet might want to be serenaded by a french horn :) I'm a musician and graduate student at Bard. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I always have a good idea of what my schedule will look well in advance. In addition, I am generally free most mornings, and can often be flexible. I'm very happy to provide your dog(s) with walks, food, brushing, bathing, and medication. I love to play fetch with dogs, go on walks or hikes, visit dog parks, cuddle, practice tricks, or any other enriching activity. With cats, I love to cuddle, play, and practice or try new tricks with treats.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 16 years old. Growing up, I have always had at least one dog in my house, so I am very comfortable with them. I have cared for cats, older dogs, younger dogs, many different breeds, and both male and female dogs. I have experience dog sitting, dog walking, and just doing mid-day check-ins. I'm currently walking dogs a couple of times a week while their owners are at work and have been dog-sitting very regularly. I love going on walks, hikes, and any other kind of adventure with pups and always cater to the needs of each individual dog. I have had dogs with health issues so I am comfortable watching dogs with physical injuries and following medication regimens. I already have some dog-walking clients so that is something to consider but my schedule is mostly pretty open for your dog needs! With the summer heat, I prefer walking dogs earlier in the day or later in the day so they don't get too overheated. But, of course, I am happy to walk your furry friends based on your schedule! Because I have two dogs I don't board dogs at my house. I am more than happy to watch your dogs at your own home. I also think most dogs prefer this because it is a comfortable and familiar environment. I have worked with dogs who use invisible fences, physical fences, or need to be on a leash anytime they're outside. I'm comfortable with any of these scenarios. I am very flexible and am happy to cater to the needs of you, your pet, and your home.
