I grew up with mid-size dogs and frequently watched smaller dogs for family friends in Pittsburgh. After moving upstate, I became a devoted cat dad to my black cat, Lola, for four years. Since then, I’ve cared for cats of all ages, including seniors with specific feeding and medication schedules. I'm attentive and responsive to every animal’s unique rhythm. I currently work remotely as a freelancer, which gives me the flexibility to drop in or house-sit for quality time with your pets during the day. I enjoy staying active and love being outdoors—so your dog will always get a good walk (and a happy walking buddy!). For overnight stays, I treat every home and pet with the respect and care I’d want for my own. I pride myself on being responsible, respectful, and kind—treating every home and animal as if my own. As a freelancer who works remotely, I have a flexible schedule that lets me give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m also available for house sitting and overnights provided there's stable wifi. I am a trustworthy house sitter/ walker who priotizes clear communication on expectations and house standards. I do not offer pet care from my own home.

I have been primarily working as a pet nanny for 5 years for someone who traveled to Europe on a monthly basis. They are staying in Europe indefinitely so I am looking to add some new clients. I can offer your dogs fun playtime and a sense of stability by caring for them in their own environment. I am also available for walks and drop in visits. I send pictures and updates daily. Your best friend will be spoiled and pampered with me. I have a very flexible schedule with plenty of availability as this is my main job. I can also do long term sitting up to 6 weeks if necessary. I am responsible and professional and respectful in your home. Besides caring for your pets, I am happy to pick up mail and water plants.

About: I absolutely love taking care of and being around animals. I am kind, reliable and very loving, with years of experience with both cats & dogs. I currently work part-time very close to my home and have reliable transportation. This means I typically have plenty of time to cater to your pets daily needs. Some days I would be able to be with them all day, whereas other days I can do morning, nights, or middle-of-the-day check-ins. I typically do not care for client's pets in my own home because of my two cats. I am happy to travel to any client home to take care of their pet however that may be needed: play, walks, parks, etc.

About: I have worked a lot with both ends of the spectrum in terms of activity: I enjoy sleepy dogs as well as hounds. I have a Hungarian Vizsla back home, who is essentially a hunting dog—and I enjoy seeing her tired at the end of the day. I have recently graduated from Bard College. This summer, I have plenty of time to take care of pets while I prepare for graduate studies. I love hiking, running, reading books, and watching movies — all of those activities are infinitely better with a cat, a dog, a turtle, or fish! About: Hi! My name is Andrea. I have lived in the Hudson Valley for almost 4 years now, and have been working in the area off and on since 2014. I live with my partner, Mike, and precious pups Kona and Desi. I have always lived with dogs. I am an Occupational Therapist in a school district full time and love to farm and bicycle during my off time. I’ve done house sitting and dog sitting previously and enjoyed the work. I have my own vehicle and am used to commuting around the Hudson Valley for work and for fun. About: I have had a dog in my family from the moment I was born. They truly are family and I believe a house doesn’t feel like a home without a pet. I have been a stay at home mom since 2019 spending most of my time at home caring for my 3 daughters, 2 dogs and my girls cat. We have a recently built new home and a large partial of land in the country perfect for outdoor playing and walks. If your fur baby stays with me I promise that they will be cared for like family themselves. I am home most of the day so they won’t be alone long, cuddles are definitely welcomed and I will respect all rules that you have for your pet! I am looking forward to my home becoming your furbabies beloved vacation spot. If you would like to set up a play date for your pet to meet me and my pets before booking that is welcome but not mandatory..whatever makes you feel more comfortable. Any questions before their stay or check ins during their stay are always welcome as well! 😊 I stay at home with my 3 year old daughter and drive my 4 & 5 year old to school every day. Other than that your pet will not be left alone for long. I spend most of my time at home so they will have plenty of attention and love! My pets are like my children before having children. They are allowed to snuggle on the couch and in bed. When I leave the house they are crate trained. I will respect your wishes and listen to what suits your pets lifestyle best. I have plenty of room at my house for your pets own crate or dog bed. Whatever will make them feel most at home I will do!

About: I am a groom school and vet tech student. Along with having dogs and cats for most of my life, I’ve worked on beef and dairy farms. I have experience handling horses, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, reptiles, fish and insects. I work part time as a groom tech an hour north of Saugerties, so my availability in Saugerties/Kingston area is Monday through Wednesday. This is subject to change past the December holidays. When I walk your dog, I know various city sidewalks as well as more natural places to walk. I can provide boots in case of inclement weather.

About: I have lots of experience dog walking, dog sitting overnight or regular check ins of any kind. I’ve been dog walking/sitting for 7 years now but have fostered dogs and cats for a couple of years before that. I love every dog/cat I take care of and make sure they’re comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I love that every animal I take care of has their own little quirks and I make sure each pet is part of their own routine that they are used to and I believe that is super important for them! I am a teacher so in the summer I am free and can be with your pet whenever they need! During the school year, I will be gone from 8-4 but will still love to give your pet the care they need! I can crate, walk or anything that you need me to provide for your dog while you are away! I will make sure that even if you’re not home your animals feel as safe and comfortable as if you were with them.

I have over five years of experience caring for animals - I was very active on Rover a few years ago, walking and pet sitting a few nights a week. I had to step away to care for my own elderly pup, but I'm ready to get back out there and provide the support you need to best care for your animals:) I have experience pet sitting (cats included!) and dog walking. I have particular experience working with elderly dogs and/or dogs who suffer from anxiety. Coming from someone who has an elderly/anxious pup myself, I recognize the unique challenges this kind of demeanor presents. I am willing to work with you and your animal to make sure everyone is comfortable, confident, and cared for! I'm currently working full-time and looking to supplement with pet care when I can. My availability is mostly on the weekends, though I could accommodate walking and pet check-ins during the evening on weekdays as well. I do not currently offer boarding services. I have worked with a few different clients with varying circumstances - dog sitting with fenced in yard, dog sitting without fenced in yard, walking outside home in neighborhood, transporting pups to walking trails - I have my own form of transportation and am happy to take your pup on some nice trails for a good walk! Whatever your circumstances might be I am committed to providing your four legged baby with the best care in whatever way I can.
