About: I've had dogs of all ages all my life and think they are the 👌 👍 😍 🥰. I've boarded very senor dogs as well as young furry critters I'm a retired teacher so that I'm able to be free much of the time. I'm also a working artist and my studio is in my home. I have a bright house with a good sized fenced-in back yard. My home is near parks and conveniently located. The neighborhood is super-quiet with doggy friendly folk.

About: Dogs have always been cherished members of my family for my whole life. I grew up caring for our family pups (Sammy, River, Indy, Sirius, and the newest addition, Loki!) from their puppyhood through their senior golden years. When I was 12, I began caring for the dogs and cats in my neighborhood. Vicki and her calm energy were amazing, especially up against my neurotic, chaotic, overprotective, nuttiness. We were vacationing in the area. So I was super nervous to leave for a day trip to the city because of his recent health diagnoses (even though the vet said he would be fine), so I got a camera to watch him and took a chance on a sitter. I’m so glad I did! She really put me at ease while I was doing dorky tourist things in NYC. She sent pics and was very responsive and sweet to my dog Eddie. He does not warm up easily but he did great with her! We were only in town for a few days, but if I lived in the area I would definitely ask her back to sit again. She’s the best!

Katherine has sat for and watched Otis on several occasions; she is responsive, easy to communicate with, friendly, warm hearted, gentle with Otis and has a sensitive nature which has made me extremely comfortable and confident. When timing changes have been needed she is always receptive and if there are any time challenges it has been very easy to work through them so all parties are happy. Otis has become found of Katherine and we will continue to work with Katherine and I recommend her wholeheartedly.
