“We're so thankful for Jen's great care of our 15-year-old tabby cat. She's communicative, compassionate, and reliable. Our cat loves her and we know that he's in good hands.”

About: I've had dogs of all ages all my life and think they are the 👌 👍 😍 🥰. I've boarded very senor dogs as well as young furry critters I'm a retired teacher so that I'm able to be free much of the time. I'm also a working artist and my studio is in my home. I have a bright house with a good sized fenced-in back yard. My home is near parks and conveniently located. The neighborhood is super-quiet with doggy friendly folk.
“Jessica is wonderful. My cat is comfortable with her in the house (he’s sometimes a bit shy). Her communication is great and she’s flexible and easy to work with. Makes my life easy, which I appreciate! Will continue using her as my go-to person! And as a bonus, I got a wonderful drawing from her daughter that I’ve proudly got displayed on my fridge :-)”

“Kacey is amazing! She was so incredibly attentive to our 6 chickens while we were away. She sent us daily updates and ensured they were happy and healthy throughout our travels. The chicks were truly in great hands! Kacey also went out of her way to water our garden since it was so hot out, which we so appreciated. We can’t recommend her enough!”

“Victoria, was great and really helped me right away while I was in a jam, where I could not walk my dog. My dog is young and very exuberant, but Victoria was able to handle him extremely well.”

About: I’m a responsible college student who loves animals and has experience caring for pets for family, friends, and neighbors. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with pets, and making sure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I’m dependable, patient, and will treat your pets like my own. This summer, I’m taking a few online classes and will also be working part-time, but I make time in my schedule to provide reliable pet care. Most weekdays work well for me, and I can often make weekends work with enough notice. I’m committed to making sure pets receive the attention, exercise, playtime, feeding, and care they need while keeping owners updated and giving pets a safe, comfortable experience. I know every pet has different needs and routines, and I always work to keep them comfortable, safe, and stress-free in their home environment. I carefully follow owner instructions, maintain feeding schedules, provide exercise and playtime, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention and care. Whether energetic or shy, I’ll treat your pets with patience, kindness, and responsibility.
“Laianna is truly such a find! She is professional, patient, kind and very thorough! I COULD NOT RECOMMEND HER MORE! Our dog can be scared of new people, but Laianna took her time, and they became fast friends!”

“Marielle was easy to get in touch with, very communicative, and on top of it! I felt very comfortable having her taking care of our two cats. Even our shy cat came around to see her while we were away. We received helpful pictures daily from Marielle, she responded to any inquires I had very promptly, and when we arrived home everything was in order and clean. I recommend her and will definitely be asking her to cat sit again in the future!”

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.
“Tatiana did a wonderful job caring for my two cats. She gave them lots of love and care and kept in close touch with me, which I appreciate because it’s hard to be away from my girls. I’ll definitely be having her back!”

About: I am currently a vet-tech student. I am fear-free certified. I know the scramble for pet care and how scary it can be to trust someone new with your pets. I hope to ease those fears and you can know your pet is getting the care they need. I am currently a student so my schedule varies, and I am looking for a part time job to fill in some gaps. This would also provide me the flexibility ot take on pet-care when my schedule allows so that the care level is never compromised. I will adhere to any rules or weird quirks your pet may have developed. For example growing up our dog would only eat if you made him think it was cooked the same way human food was cooked. We had to do a whole thing on the stove to seem like we were stirring it to fully cooked. I will always be mindful of any openings in yards and be sure they're closed off or that the pet is leashed properly before any door is opened.
About: I have trained two puppies, and taken care of a senior dog who sadly recently passed. I understand the patience required for both ends of the spectrum. Currently my puppy is just 9 months old, and very sweet with all other pets. I can help with socialisation, or just general care and walking, whatever you need! I am a graduate student in a very flexible program, just working a few hours a week at Bard College, the rest of the time at home. I have access to a yard, and my friendly puppy to play with. I am happy to follow feeding schedules, and can maintain training routines. I have a crate if your dog needs their safe space.
About: Since i was young i always treated pets like humans, its my passion to share my love with pets, Caring for them is my passion. i currently work 3 nights a week, i am very active with much free time that i spend with my own dog. I am Open. I have a fenced in area if needed. i also have a car where i can travel to parks and trails to walk the dogs.

Jamie is very detail oriented and listens to instructions very well. You can tell they love animals so much and they took such great care of our pets. They also checked in with us often and communicated well. We would definitely recommend Jamie and would 10/10 book again :-)

Vicki was reliable, caring, and extremely attentive. She made sure everything was handled properly, including food, medication, and checking that our senior dog was comfortable and doing well. Great communication, always on time, and clearly someone who truly cares for animals. Highly recommended

Katherine has sat for and watched Otis on several occasions; she is responsive, easy to communicate with, friendly, warm hearted, gentle with Otis and has a sensitive nature which has made me extremely comfortable and confident. When timing changes have been needed she is always receptive and if there are any time challenges it has been very easy to work through them so all parties are happy. Otis has become found of Katherine and we will continue to work with Katherine and I recommend her wholeheartedly.

Greetings and Happy First Summer Day, Hadar. Your TLC of Riley and Ginger during my trip was super...many thanks. My Son's wedding went so well and all are happy and couple on their honeymoon. It was a comfort for Me to know You were with my Precious Puppies. Please think about November 5-15, 2025. (Sister's birthday celebration). I hope to plan within a few days. Hope You and Yours are well and enjoying this New Season. Janet
