I have a flexible, hybrid work schedule that allows me to accommodate walls, drop-ins, and overnight care throughout the week and on weekends (and even a few work from home days for more time with your pup!). I’m able to provide consistent attention, timely visits, and plenty of engagement, whether your dog needs a quick walk, regular check-ins or more extended care.

Sécurité, confiance et environnement
Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality and needs, and I follow all instructions closely. In your home, I aim to keep your dog’s environment familiar and stress-free. For boarding, I offer a calm, quiet, child/pet-ffee space where your dog will receive attentive, individualized care and supervision (and lots of walks or hikes, if you like!).

Informations que Amanda L. aimerait connaître au sujet de votre animal domestique
To provide the best care possible, I like to learn as much as I can about your dog ahead of time. Helpful details include their daily routine (feeding schedule, walk frequency, sleep habits), temperament, energy level, potty norms, and any quirks or preferences. Please let me know about any medical needs, allergies, or mobility considerations, as well as how your dog interacts with other dogs, people, or new environments. I also appreciate knowing about any triggers (such as loud noises, separation anxiety, or leash reactivity) so I can plan accordingly and keep them comfortable. The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to match your dog’s personality and ensure a safe, happy experience!
Une journée type
A typical day is built around your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and at ease. Mornings usually start with a walk, fresh water, and breakfast (if part of their schedule), followed by some playtime or enrichment. Throughout the day, I provide walks, potty breaks, and check-ins depending on your dog’s needs, along with plenty of attention and affection. If your dog enjoys activity, we can go for longer walks, explore nearby parks, or even take a light hike. For more low-key pups, I’m just as happy to keep things calm with shorter strolls, playtime, and lots of cuddles (on or off the couch- depending on your preference). In the evenings, we wind down with another walk, dinner, and a relaxed environment so your dog can settle in comfortably. We do one last potty break before going to bed (where your dog is welcome, depending on preference). I always aim to keep their routine consistent while making sure they feel safe, engaged, and cared for.

Avis

Amanda was an amazing sitter for our dog Honey! She was thoughtful, communicative, flexible on timing, and Honey seemed so happy and calm when we picked her up. I couldn’t recommend her more!

I highly recommend Amanda! This was my first time using Rover as well as my 5 year old dog's first time staying with anyone other than family. Amanda was great with communication from the beginning and reassuring throughout the whole process from initial contact to setting up a meet and greet to regular updates while we were away. My dog took to her right away and felt very comfortable with her throughout her stay as seen by cuddling pictures and happy outdoor time. I feel so fortunate to have found a reliable and trustworthy sitter.
Amanda is amazing. She agreed to watch our 3 dogs (and house-sit) for a week! Our SMALLEST dog is an 85 lb. ball of energy. Our biggest is a 140 lb. Irish Wolfhound with some anxiety and a lot of brattiness. The overprotective Cane Corso lands in the middle of the pack at 95 lbs. Amanda (and husband Joe) took the time to get to know them and gave them the space they needed to become comfortable. They sent photos throughout the week we were away and took exceptional care of the house. Our dogs were happy to see us put not so happy to see Amanda go! She keeps begging us to take another vacay just so she can hang with the pack. FIVE STARS, 10 out of 10.
Amanda is truly an animal lover through and through, and she treats every pet like her own. She’s incredibly attentive and thoughtful when it comes to care instructions and any special needs. She’s watched my 50 lb lab mix, Moose, multiple times, and it’s always such a relief knowing she’s in such good hands. Moose absolutely adores her! She was even all cuddles with Amanda during a thunderstorm, which is usually a big anxiety trigger for her. I can’t recommend Amanda enough!
