I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds since childhood, ranging from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra care. I’m a trained dog handler with the Ulster County SPCA and regularly provide dog sitting, walking and drop-in services. Whether your dog wants quiet peaceful snugs, or enthusiastic playtime and hikes… I’m your lady! Clients often tell me their dogs have even better times on vacation than they do! 🩷🐾 I care for each pup like it’s my own. Happy to provide references ups on request!

Drop-In Visits • Jul 07, 2026

Incredible rovers and people! Amanda and her husband went above and beyond with our puppy Rory. Couldn't have asked for a better duo to take care of her - meeting her beforehand, giving her love and attention, endless photos, cuddles and happiness. Ten out of ten recommendation for anyone in the Woodstock / Kingston area.

Amanda and her husband took wonderful care of Jack. I received daily updates and pictures which helped ease my anxiety about leaving him for a few days. He was so spoiled! You can tell they are dog lovers and treated him like he was theirs. I will be using them in the future and have already booked Jacks next stay without hesitation.

Dog Walking • Jul 03, 2026

Amanda is an amazing walker and pet sitter. She has gone above and beyond for me and my dog Beatrice. She has carried my dog over hot asphalt to shade and grass for walks. Added ice to her water bowl on the hot days. She is a regular walker for me and I have entrusted her with a key to my loft. You can do no better in my book. Schedule her with confidence! 😊 Stars 6!

House Sitting • Jun 29, 2026

Amanda took great care of my dogs and home over a long weekend of housesitting. We would gladly have her back for our next trip.

Doggy Day Care • May 31, 2026

Amanda was an amazing sitter for our dog Honey! She was thoughtful, communicative, flexible on timing, and Honey seemed so happy and calm when we picked her up. I couldn’t recommend her more!

I highly recommend Amanda! This was my first time using Rover as well as my 5 year old dog's first time staying with anyone other than family. Amanda was great with communication from the beginning and reassuring throughout the whole process from initial contact to setting up a meet and greet to regular updates while we were away. My dog took to her right away and felt very comfortable with her throughout her stay as seen by cuddling pictures and happy outdoor time. I feel so fortunate to have found a reliable and trustworthy sitter.

Schedule

I have a flexible, hybrid work schedule that allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and overnight care throughout the week and on weekends (and even a few work from home days for more time with your pup!). I’m able to provide consistent attention, timely visits, and plenty of engagement, whether your dog needs a quick walk, regular check-ins or more extended care.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality and needs, and I follow all instructions closely. In your home, I aim to keep your dog’s environment familiar and stress-free. For boarding, I offer a calm, quiet, child/pet-free space where your dog will receive attentive, individualized care and supervision (and lots of walks or hikes, if you like!).

A typical day

A typical day is built around your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and at ease. Mornings usually start with a walk, fresh water, and breakfast (if part of their schedule), followed by some playtime or enrichment. Throughout the day, I provide walks, potty breaks, and check-ins depending on your dog’s needs, along with plenty of attention and affection. If your dog enjoys activity, we can go for longer walks, explore nearby parks, or even take a light hike. For more low-key pups, I’m just as happy to keep things calm with shorter strolls, playtime, and lots of cuddles (on or off the couch- depending on your preference). In the evenings, we wind down with another walk, dinner, and a relaxed environment so your dog can settle in comfortably. We do one last potty break before going to bed (where your dog is welcome, depending on preference). I always aim to keep their routine consistent while making sure they feel safe, engaged, and cared for.

To provide the best care possible, I like to learn as much as I can about your dog ahead of time. Helpful details include their daily routine (feeding schedule, walk frequency, sleep habits), temperament, energy level, potty norms, and any quirks or preferences. Please let me know about any medical needs, allergies, or mobility considerations, as well as how your dog interacts with other dogs, people, or new environments. I also appreciate knowing about any triggers (such as loud noises, separation anxiety, or leash reactivity) so I can plan accordingly and keep them comfortable. The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to match your dog’s personality and ensure a safe, happy experience!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
