Trustworthy Dog Sitter

Thank you for taking a look at my profile. My name is Rose. I simply love dogs and ever since I was born I've had a dog. I currently live in Kingston, NY. Please check the written calendar below to view days I am available as the Rover calendar is inaccurate ====================================== As of 6/13/2026 these are my dates of availability: Aug 23-25; Sep. 8-12, 20-25; Oct 9-14, 19-22; Nov 3-8,17-24; Dec. 21-31; 2027: Jan 1-3, 9-23; Mar. 9-18, 30-31; Apr. 1-30; May 1-31; Jun. 1-30; Jul. 1-13; Aug. 1-31; Sep. 1-6, 28-30; Oct. 1-2, 11-31; Nov. 1-30; Dec. 1-31 ====================================== THINGS TO KNOW: - For Drop-ins: I will not do twice a day if you are farther than 5 miles from my current location. I can only do a max of twice per day drop-ins if under 5 miles from my location. Feel free to send me an inquiry about availibility. - As of 2024 I only do Housesits and Drop-ins - As of June 2025 I have had to raise my prices for first time in 10 years due to fee changes in Rover. If you have already booked those will not be affected. Only future bookings will have the new price changes! ====================================== Housesitting Prices are as follows: $40 for first night and $30 second night and after Second pet is an additional $15 per night Each additional pet is $10 per night (for example if you have four pets it will be 30+15+10+10 per night plus initial $10 for the first night) ***Don't let the first price scare you when you book multiple nights. I will manually change it to reflect the prices I am advertising!

Safety, trust & environment

In your home, I will make sure your pets are well cared for like keeping up with feeding and water schedules, multiple walks on leash (or if you have a fenced in yard I will let them out and go out with them), and clean up any messes they have made (I have a portable carpet cleaner and regular vacuum) For cats: please let me know if they indoor only or indoor/outdoor. For the latter, I will make sure they are inside before dusk.

I cannot express how happy we are to have found Rose. Her communication before and throughout the stay was excellent, She immediately related to our dog and by the pictures she shared while we were away, she obviously spent a lot of time walking and playing with him. And our house was absolutely spotless when we got home. Rose is now our first choice for pet care!

We are your typical obsessed millennial dog parents - Rose could not have made us more comfortable leaving our pups for a trip out of town. they took to her immediately , and she went above and beyond taking care of them, and our home for that matter. We can’t wait to use Rose again.

I was in a jam and booked Rose at the very last minute. I was so glad she could accommodate my schedule. She is professional and our dog loves her.

We had last minute New Year's Eve plans and we were happy that Rose was available. This was our first Rover dog sitting experience. Rose was attentive and comfortable with our two dogs. We were happy with her service and we would definitely ask her to dog sit again.

Schedule

When I stay in your home (or drop-in) you can be rest assured they will be well taken care of, get plenty of attention, and treated as another family member. Feel free to leave me detailed written instructions on what and when to feed your pets, when they need to be walked or how many times (and if you use poopbags), where to walk them, if they require any medications, where they like sleep (I do not mind them sleeping beside me), and areas they are and are not allowed in your home. When I do housesits I am there full-time (and is practically my full-time job). If I do go out it's usually a quick trip to the grocery store or if there is a quick drop-in nearby (I will ask you if I can do this prior. No big deal if I cannot). Let me know how you want your pets to be placed (like a crate, free-roaming, or a specific room) and how long if I do have to leave the house for errands.

PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING ME AS YOUR DOGSITTER To ensure a safe, calm, and positive environment for everyone, all dogs must meet the following requirements before I can accept a booking: 1. Must not display aggressive, highly anxious, or excessively jumpy behavior 2. Must be potty trained (Occasional accidents are understandable; however, recurring daily accidents will require behavior correction before I can continue care) 3. Must not bark excessively during the day or night 4. Must not chew on furniture, walls, or items other than appropriate dog toys 5. Must be on a current flea-prevention regimen (Flea collars or topical treatments such as Advantix, Frontline, Hartz, etc. are acceptable) 6. Must not engage in coprophagia (eating their own or other animals’ waste). 7. Must be up to date on all required vaccinations For the safety and well-being of all involved, dogs that display aggressive behaviour will not be accepted for future services. If you have any questions about these guidelines or anything else, please don’t hesitate to reach out. **Meet-and-greets are required for all first-time clients.** Additional Information I’ll Need: - Does your dog require any medications or special food? - Are treats allowed? - Does your dog(s) have any food allergies? - Is your dog(s) leash-reactive? (This does not disqualify them—I just need to know their specific routines or handling protocols.) Important Notices: - I am unable to provide services in homes where smoking occurs. - Payment is required prior to the start of services. Pets cannot be accepted without advance payment. ~*~*~*~ 5 star reviews are much appreciated! ~*~*~*~
