Someone who would understand her fussy eating habits, could give her eye drops, be patient with her inability to see well, and go outside when she needs to. And, a quiet place for Opal just to rest her weary bones. I found that in Cipriana. I hope in the future, she can care for little Opal again. Opal even shared a bed with Cipriana's older dog!”

She showed true passion and love for our pup just with one visit! She also noticed that he had an ear infection and took it upon herself to do something about it- can you say amazing? She ALSO gave him a bath— literally doesn’t get any better! We will certainly be using Maria again! Can’t thank her enough! ??”

About: I’ve worked in animal welfare for 20 years and have experience with every size, breed and need! I’m comfortable administering medication and most importantly, I love animals so much that I’ve dedicated my life to them :). I work full time from home. I have flexible hours and usually go on several walks around my neighborhood a day. The longest I’d be away from home ranges from 2-4 hours and that can be adjusted based on your pets’ needs. I have a fenced yard and lots of love to give! There’s plenty of space in my house for crate(s) and I also welcome dog snuggles if they are allowed to sleep in the bed. I don’t have any other pets in the home but have lots of friends with dogs if yours likes the company.

About: I love caring for cats of all ages, from kittens to seniors. I especially love playing with more rambunctious cats. I've lived in several situations with two or more cats in which they had to be slowly introduced or their interactions managed, and I'm confident in reading cats' body language. I think it is so important to be patient with cats and pay attention to their individual wants and needs. My own cat is very calm but cautious with other animals.

“Monica was an excellent cat sitter! She was very communicative, thorough and great at her job. I was very happy. Will definitely be booking Monica again in the future.”

Over the years, I've cared for so many beautiful and unique cats and litters, and I've loved every single experience. I'm great with any cat, no matter how shy or feisty they may be, because I respect their boundaries and I'm skilled at judging what they want! I know firsthand how particular cats can be, and you will have nothing to worry about if I'm watching your pets- I can handle complex routines! I can administer medication, monitor urine and stool output and how much they're eating, brush them, clip their nails, and help out however else you need!
About: My care for animals is rooted in my nature. I have spent 28 years loving and caring for dogs, cats, and livestock like sheep and goats. I currently volunteer at the Ulster County SPCA weekly doing dog and cat socialization. I bring genuine passion, care, and patience to each pet that is in my care. I am available for pet visits and walks from 6am to 11am and 8:30pm to 10:30pm during the week. My availability on the weekends is much more flexible. Let’s chat and come up with a plan. With over two decades of animal experience, I know that trust is earned, not assumed. I take time to read each pet’s cues, honor their boundaries, and follow your established routines. Your home environment stays calm and consistent, your dog’s walk stays safe and controlled, and your cat always has the space they need to feel secure.

The updates and photos were so appreciated and thank you for bringing in our packages and deliveries too. Highly recommend and will book with her again!”

“Rose was wonderful with my house and with my patch. She left the house clean and neat, and she left the patch with big smiles on their little faces. I would highly recommend her.”

“Katrina was in our home with our two big kittens/small cats for just under a week. My husband and I were a bit worried about leaving them with a sitter, since they are only three months old, but gwe came home to very happy kitties, and a well-cared for house. Communication was good while we were away; pictures arrived frequently. I would use Katrina again to watch our beloved cats!”
About: Dogs have always been cherished members of my family for my whole life. I grew up caring for our family pups (Sammy, River, Indy, Sirius, and the newest addition, Loki!) from their puppyhood through their senior golden years. When I was 12, I began caring for the dogs and cats in my neighborhood. I am experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes (I grew up with border collie/lab mixes, a great dane/pit/lab mix, and an aussie shepherd), and have extensive experience caring for more than one dog (or cat!) at a time. Since then, I have cared for dogs and cats across the Hudson Valley and NYC. Since I have no pets of my own because of my apartment size, I will treat yours as if they were my own and they will get all the care and attention they need while you are away. I also offer pet portraits and would be happy to talk with you about that further if you're interested. Every moment I get to spend with an animal is so special to me and I would be so grateful for the opportunity to share that love with you and your pup. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns, I would be happy to discuss it all with you! I am currently working as a freelance artist/photographer. I make my own schedule and so I am flexible to meet you and your pup’s needs. I am committed to creating an environment in your home that is safe, secure, and fun for your pup all day long! I am detail-oriented so I keep the place tidy and comfortable. Because every dog is different and you know your dog best, I follow your instructions carefully and guarantee open, prompt communication with you. I am very comfortable crating your dog if you need and happy caring for more than one. I know it can be hard to leave your pet in the care of someone else (Ive been there!) and so Im committed to making sure you feel comfortable and confident by building trust between you, your pup, and me…we got this!

“Jacqueline was very friendly and communicative, and Bunsen took an instant liking. We received photos of her well-being during her stay and of her mile walk. Jacqueline’s home is conveniently located in a popular historic town, making drop-off/pickup easy on the way to/from Hunter Ski Resort from our hotel. Bunsen was well cared for and happy. She was also so tired, that she managed to rest during the long car ride back home! We would book Jacqueline again.”

“Amanda was an amazing sitter for our dog Honey! She was thoughtful, communicative, flexible on timing, and Honey seemed so happy and calm when we picked her up. I couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Marielle took great care of my little Zuzu! My puppy started the day sad about me leaving her there and by the end she was totally bonded with Marielle! She was also totally tuckered out so she clearly got plenty of exercise.”

“My dog absolutely loves Jesmine and Channon’s place. She always looks to be having a good time. Today she didn’t even want to leave. These are good people and I look forward to my pup staying with them again.”

About: I’ve been around animals since I was a child and grew up on a farm in Puerto Rico, so caring for different kinds of pets comes naturally to me. I’m very attentive, patient, and mindful of each animal’s needs. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved, and I treat them as if they were my own. I go the extra mile to keep them happy, relaxed, and well-cared for.🌻 I work a part-time job, and in my free time I hang out with animals. Taking care of pets really grew on me—it just feels natural. I love being around them and seeing all their different personalities. It’s cool how every pet has their own little vibe. I’m a nature-loving person who enjoys long walks and runs. My time with pets is always great, and I’m sure they have a blast too! I’m very mindful when it comes to animals — making sure they’re comfortable, energized, and happy is a must

About: My own dogs are always the #1 teacher. They show me how to best care for them - with food, play, training, medications, travel, sleepless days and nights when they've been ill, and giving them all them comfort I can. I've volunteered at dog shelters, spent hours walking dogs in all kinds of weather, and offered comfort to friends who've had to say goodbye to their best fur friends. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets plenty of attention - playing, feeding, and scratching behind the ears. I take my dog for swims in the river, off leash romps in the woods, and leashed walks around town. We also play fetch and tug-of-war in the house or on the deck. If your dog needs a playmate, my dog, Jackson, may be a good fit. My cats - depending on their mood - like to lounge in the sun, pounce on the occasional toy, run up stairs, and hunt for treats I've hidden for them.
“My dog had an AMAZING time with Nicole. He can be a bit anxious, but warmed right up to her and really enjoyed spending the day napping on the couch and taking walks. If I ever find myself needing a sitter in the area again I would rebook with Nicole in a heartbeat, especially since she even has fenced in areas outside that would be amazing when the weather warms up.”

About: Hello! :) I love animals, cats, dogs, fish, chickens, pocket pets, exotic, etc.! I have extensive experience with cats and have been with cats my whole life and I have been told many a times that I am a very fast learner for anything I have not done before. In 2025 I completed the "Pet Sitting, Training, Grooming Microcredential" at SUNY Ulster. The Microcredential included the following classes; Pet CPR & First Aid, Behavior Medicine for Animals, and Restraint and Handling. As of 11/01/2024 I am certified in Pet CPR by RECOVER and ACVECC. And as of 02/23/2025 I have a certificate of Completion in the Fear Free certificate program by Fear Free Leaders in Animal Wellbeing. I am currently a student at SUNY New Paltz and as it is now summer break i am available 24/7. When I am not in New Paltz I live in Kingston with my parents and two cats, Pilot and Trixie. I will make sure your pets get lots of play time while you are away. I can take pets on walks, water plants, get mail, clean up messes, etc depending on what you need. And I have no problem complying with any weird quirks your pets have. (My cats have some very specific games they like). I also like to report back on what we did, anything that is possibly out of the ordinary, and of course I can send pictures!
“We had a fantastic experience with Jacqueline! She was punctual, friendly, and clearly has a great way with dogs. Our pups came back happy and well exercised after each walk. Jaqueline was also great with communication sending updates and photos that gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker!”

“Alice was wonderful--very professional and knew a lot about handling a strong willed dog like my Fergus. She was great in communicating with my husband who was working in his office and sending me updates while I was in another country. And most of all...Fergus loved her and would gladly have her as his sitter again! Thanks so much and hope I can use you in the future!”

I can administer fluids and medications (provided the cat isn't feral) and I have experience caring for elderly animals and pets with disabilities. I'm guaranteed reliable, flexible, patient, and kind, and I would care for your babes as I do my own. Part of being a good pet sitter is sensing what the cat and dog need, whether it means extra pets and playtime, or to be given space. i want your pet to be happy and cared for. i love all animals and their happiness, safety and well-being mean everything to me. As a part-time freelancer, pet sitting works well with my schedule. I'm available 7am to 9pm in most cases. I am not available for overnights, but I can help with extended long-term daily stays. Cats and dogs deserve exercise, playtime, fresh meals, clean water, and affection. I will never allow a cat outside or a dog off his or her leash unless requested. You can rely on me to lock the door and keep your pet and home safe while you are away.

“Katherine far exceeded any expectations I had for my dog’s care. Katherine always changed the water and put out a lunch I would leave for my dog as well as a biscuit when she left…Katherine gave nice long walks and was always on time and usually gave more than the normal 30 minutes! Sadie loved her…I’ll be using Katherine again!”

About: I have more than a year of experience in veterinary medicine, where I have assisted in the care of both dogs and cats. I am passionate about animal care and committed to providing dependable and attentive service for every pet! I can generally work around your pet’s usual routine. My schedule is fairly open, so I’m happy to be flexible on timing as long as we communicate ahead of time. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. “Amanda is an amazing walker and pet sitter. She has gone above and beyond for me and my dog Beatrice. She has carried my dog over hot asphalt to shade and grass for walks. Added ice to her water bowl on the hot days. She is a regular walker for me and I have entrusted her with a key to my loft. You can do no better in my book. Schedule her with confidence! 😊 Stars 6!”
About: I have taken care of animals my whole life - from family pets, to pets of my own. I love all animals. We do not deserve them, but I do my best to earn their love every day. I truly enjoy providing them with all the love and safety they need. I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs. I cared for my sweet German Shorthaired Pointer (Hunter), who had cancer. Now I shower my young Aussie Mountain Doodle puppy (Selena) with love every day, teaching her to learn and grow, and brushing her constantly so her doodle fur does not get matted and she stays looking beautiful. I have fully potty trained her, she has learned a few commands, and with my guidance, she is getting better and better at walking on her leash. I also have two amazing senior kitties (Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin). They make me smile everyday. They are 14 years young, so they have started to have some slight health decline (cataracts, arthritis, hyperthyroidism), so I have gotten better and better at senior cat care. One of my kitties requires a pill twice a day, so I am an expert at administering pills to cats as well. I am also very good about making sure they have the freshest litter and litter boxes. I even house their litter boxes in special enclosures to give them privacy and a place of their own to do their business. From caring for my own pets, to feeding the squirrels and birds in my backyard, to rescuing stray cats - my love for animals knows no bounds. All animals deserve love, and I promise to care for you pets as if they were my own ❤️ I work full-time for a non-profit, but I work from home 3 days a week and only go into the office 2 times a week. This means I have some flexibility in my schedule on week days. On weekends I am wide open! At my home, I have a routine with my animals. They are fed right around the same times everyday, they are given fresh water twice a day, my one cat gets his medicine at the same time twice a day, and they all get a lot of pets and some treats daily as well. My puppy gets at least 2 walks a day, some swim time if the weather is nice, and A LOT of play time with her many toys every day. My cats do not like to play much now that they are older, but I do my best to keep them active with the few toys they show interest in. I have also converted my back porch into an enclosed catio in order to fulfill their dreams of being outdoor cats! In your home, I would utilize my stellar attention to detail in order to carefully follow your guidance. That way I can keep your pet(s) on their usual routine as much as possible so that they are as comfortable and feel as safe as possible. I am also a wonderful and thorough communicator, so I would ensure you were fully aware of everything so that you can feel comfortable as well.

“I am so grateful Victoria was available to walk Pinky on such short notice. She even kindly offered a meet and greet the day before which was very reassuring. I knew he would be in good hands.”

I had lots of pictures from her even showing her lying on of the beds being pet. Luna is anxious and they either with her to warm up, there are two couples in the house and her son and they all take care of the dogs. What a wonderful place to leave your pup.”

“Loretta is great! She always makes sure to send pictures of my boy and he always looks like he is either having fun with other pups or comfortably snuggled up. I know he is in good hands with her.”

“Janice was amazing! I will definitely leave my dog Beau with her again! She has so much love for all animals and we felt so at peace leaving Beau for his first dog-sitting visit. There is so much space for the dogs to run and play and I knew he was in great hands:)”

“Cristian took care of my two dogs for a stay of 8 days. He kept us updated with pictures each day and it looked like they had a lovely time and were well cared for. Drop off and pickup were also very easy”
