I have experience with all types of cats and dogs and critters. I not only work as a pet sitter, but I was an independent rescuer and as a Spay-Neuter advocate for the ASPCA in NYC as well. I can administer fluids and medications (provided the cat isn't feral) and I have experience caring for elderly animals and pets with disabilities. I'm guaranteed reliable, flexible, patient, and kind, and I would care for your babes as I do my own. Part of being a good pet sitter is sensing what the cat and dog need, whether it means extra pets and playtime, or to be given space. i want your pet to be happy and cared for. i love all animals and their happiness, safety and well-being mean everything to me.

Cats and dogs deserve exercise, playtime, fresh meals, clean water, and affection. I will never allow a cat outside or a dog off his or her leash unless requested. You can rely on me to lock the door and keep your pet and home safe while you are away.

Vicki and her calm energy were amazing, especially up against my neurotic, chaotic, overprotective, nuttiness. We were vacationing in the area. I had never used Rover or a babysitter before, and I never go on vacation without my dog because I don’t trust anyone to watch him (see previously mentioned neuroses). So I was super nervous to leave for a day trip to the city because of his recent health diagnoses (even though the vet said he would be fine), so I got a camera to watch him and took a chance on a sitter. I’m so glad I did! She really put me at ease while I was doing dorky tourist things in NYC. She sent pics and was very responsive and sweet to my dog Eddie. He does not warm up easily but he did great with her! We were only in town for a few days, but if I lived in the area I would definitely ask her back to sit again. She’s the best!
I highly recommend Vicki as a sitter, and she is especially good with our cats. She always gives good updates on how the cats are doing and seems to genuinely enjoying being around them. Will definitely be using Vicki again!
Amazing sitter. Super reliable, replies fast, and handled my two difficult cats perfectly—meds, bathroom issues, and even got my shy one to eat from her hand for the first time ever. Loved the photo updates. I’d book her again without hesitation.
Vicki was GREAT she was calm and patient with my girl. And took her for a couple of great walks. We I got home from my trip my dog was smiling and not stressed. Perfect for our needs!
Vicki is the best, and I’m so thankful to have her looking after my cat when I’m traveling.

Schedule
As a part-time freelancer, pet sitting works well with my schedule. I'm available 7am to 9pm in most cases. I am not available for overnights, but I can help with extended long-term daily stays.
