A typical day
With cats, I like to engage them with their toys and natural environment. I recognize some cats don’t like strangers, so I try to be present and calming until they’re comfortable with me. With dogs, I will make sure to take them on exciting walks, getting to smell and explore the neighborhood.

Pet care experience
I helped take care of our family dogs when I lived at home. This includes washing, walking, playing, feeding our Cocker Spaniel. I have also helped babysit friends’ dogs on a short-term basis. I’m currently a cat mom. I’ve always had a cat and/or dog in my home. More about my experience with cats in the “cat care detail” section.

Alexandra is wonderful -- it was really great to know that our cat boys were in good hands while we were out of town! Her updates kept us informed and it was clear that she took good care of the trio. I highly recommend her as a sitter and I know our cats would, too!
Alexandra did a great job! Her notes were nicely detailed and she took several sweet photos of my pup each visit. I could tell he was loving her company.
Alexandra has great energy. Lua felt real comfortable with her warm and gentle spirit. We felt the same way and felt that Lua was in good hands.
