About: I've worked with dogs and cats since I was 7. I have spent the past several years learning how to train service dogs. I am incredibly patient and gentle and am very willing to match my style of training to yours. I work weekends so I am free most days to walk your pets while you are at work or on a trip!! I am super flexible and easy going. My number one priority is your pets safety. This looks like ensuring your pet has plenty of water, access to shade if it's hot, and appropriate distance from other dogs.

“I recommend Katelynn for any services that she provides. She did drop in visits for my Yorkshire Terrier while I was away on vacation. I was uncertain about his care while I was away. Then I came across the Rover app which was right on time. When I reviewed Katelynn profile, I was impressed. We did a meet a greet & I immediately asked if she would be willing to watch my dog. Katelynn was a JOY!! She adjusted her schedule per request. She even offered to water any plants or do any house chores. She even took my trash out for collection due to I was unavailable. I appreciate the photos & the updates on each visit. I wanted my pet to stay in his home so he would be comfortable. Normally I don’t write reviews but this young lady did an awesome JOB!! I live a healthy, peaceful lifestyle and will bring that good, clean energy into your home caring for your pets. I do NOT have my own pet that I would bring to your house. I am a writer who makes their own schedule so I can easily fit pet care into my schedule on my own terms, and am available on weekends when things can be extra busy. In my clients home I am usually in-and-out to pick up the doggo and if requested/needed can stay longer to give the dog more play-time, stimulation with games etc in the home or in the yard.

About: I currently work as a physical therapist full time and started dog sitting while going to college in 2011 for a Great Dane named Maxx, from there I acquired many dog and cat sitting jobs through word of mouth and for friends and their family members. I have experience working with small dogs and bigger dogs. I love dogs and cats, I grew up having cats and had one dog. About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.
